So I have a Mazda 3 2.3 09 and I recently got the resignators and muffler delete, with new piping and it sounds good in person, it does make you smile it pops but you got a kind of played at the pedal a little bit and if someone was to record you revving the engine it would not sound the same. so if someone else is trying to do this go for it it's not bad.
I live in tijuana mexico were mexican people drive california expired tags and no cats.(car seller sell them with out the cats for more profit) so i have a mazda 3 with cats, but i want to sell them. Question is will it run rich if i do stright piped, no cats no resanator. Anyone???
also got the corksport power series for my mazda 3 2.5l car and i've gotten a leak since day 1. mine is wear the slip joint is located where the test pipe meet the rest of the exaust. also seems to be leaking from the test pipe to the header joint. its so anoying going trought a mc do drive trought and hearing the leak resonate againts the walls... also when you turn off the car.

When I deleted my resonator in my 08 Mazda 3, I drove it around with a big gap in the exchuast becuase there was no res. well anyways it was so loud it was bad... it wasn’t even sound it was just crazy loud pressure on ur ears... anyways there’s a pipe in there now and it sounds great and quiet at the same time

I currently have a cat back straight pipe on my 09 Mazda 3, it’s not to obnoxious but enough to make you smile

2nd cat delete will give it a better sound, light won't show up.
I have a 2005 Mazda3. I wanted to add an exhaust tip to spice it up a bit but it’s a split do you think it’s worth putting on?
You match the same size header and exhaust? I run 2.5" header with a 3" HKS catback . It can be loud but only when I hammer on it.

It won't throw codes, but don't touch the resonator. When the resonator goes, it will become raspy and give cabin drone

Well straight pipe is no catalytic converter, resonator and muffler. They'll provide the metal, just tell them what you want removed.
