Today, the Park, Gardens and Numerous Internal Spaces of the Villa Di Montruglio Complex Are Open to the Public.
Villa San Michele
Built in the 15th Century, Villa San Michele Was a Monastery Nestled on a Hilltop Amid Lush Trees and Terraced Gardens, With a Facade Attributed to Michelangelo.
The Renaissance Villa Also Boasts the Most Picture-perfect Views of Florence.
Villa San Michele is Situated on the Hill of Fiesole Overlooking Florence, Italy. It is Named After the Church of St Michael the Archangel.
During World War II, the Villa Was Badly Damaged and, in 1950, It Was Transformed Into a Private Residence.
In 1982 the Villa Was Transformed Once Again Into a Luxury Hotel With a Comprehensive Restoration of the Buildings and the Gardens With the Cooperation of the Florence Fine Arts Authority.
Today, It is One of Europe's Most Fascinating Hotels, Owned by Belmond Hotels.

You try your best but you did not right... both Villa di Montruglio and Villa Arvedi are in Veneto (same region of Venice), the last one close to Verona (the city of Romeo and Juliet) thus definitely km/miles away from Tuscany. Nevertheless they remain wonderful villas and italian architectural treasures

The typical Tuscan tree is the cypress, with an elongated and dark shape, It is planted on the roadsides and in gardens and parks. In past centuries it was used to reforest hills.
The Italian cypress is best on driveways.I'm impressed.

@@dcomea Strangely enough, in the US cypresses are associated with cemeteries in warmer states.
I've got to think that the Italian or regional governments must somehow incentivize farmers to plant stands of trees as it is so common to see lovely rows of trees aligned like soldiers.
@@JohnKruse it's the same in Italy. Cypresses are considered a symbol for immortality and look like a soul stretching toward the other world. From a practical point of view, their roots grow straight down inside the earth so they don't disturb the graves or the road surface like an oak tree would do for example

Tuscany is not the same as Italy. Villa di Montruglio and Villa Arvedi are both in Veneto, 200 km from Tuscany.
Tuscany is very well managed, there is a lot of cleanliness in the streets, the services on average work very well, it is practically an open-air museum of the Middle Ages ... And now the main language here is basically, English, so many British tourists, Americans who are here.
