A corner of the Land of the Rising Sun🇯🇵
Thanks (Grazie) for this info. My friends and I will be staying in a small village monteriggioni near Siena . I was a bit hesitant about renting a car, but now I’m confident in going ahead and renting one. Your photos are stunning!! Again thanks for sharing the info!!
I travelling soon…. And this video has made change the whole itinerary 😅 … IM GOING TO TUSCANY NOW!!!! 😂😂
Grazie, great video, excellent information and a contagious love of Tuscany. Can't wait to visit asap.
Looking forward to my next trip there in a few weeks , with another interesting video too 😁
Very helpful vlog, thank you.
LOVE Arezzo!! LOVE Tuscany!! Montalcino and Montepulciano are also two of my absolute favorites.
All outstanding destinations. Love them 💛💛
Thanks for the tips. We stayed in the gorgeous village of Gombitelli, 12km from Lucca and 25km north of Pisa. Visited both and more, best holiday ever❤
So glad you had a great time!!. Lovely part of Tuscany
There is only one place in the world where everyday life is so completely reflected in the sublime, in a wonderful mix of nature and culture........it is Tuscany.
Marie-Henri Beyle, Stendhal
We drove 3 hours to saturina, was wonderful.
Got to a small town to have lunch, the people were super nice.
Best time ever.
We missed Lucca and Arrezo, so maybe one day we'll be back there for more :)
Renting a car in touscany is a must!
So happy u had a blast. Just back from yet another trip there and I can't stop myself travelling there
Arezzo is sop underrated.
Monte san Savino, Cortona , and all the casentino valley are precious and full of history, but most of all , really not busy and enjoyable, price reflect that .
Saluti.
I was there last month I rented a car was wonderful amazing place I loved that ❤️
Heading to Lucca and Florence in just a few weeks. I just can’t wait! Thanks for more info
Have fun!
Very informative. Keep up the good work
Thanks mate 🙏🙏👍🏻
Hello Stefano, love your video. I've been to Florence several times and love everything about it. I traveled to Lucca on my last trip and have to disagree about this area. It was very difficult walking inside the main area, was getting lost on the tiny streets and alleys, and didn;t find the experience very enjoyable. It was also at least an hour and a half away from Florence by train!
Thanks for your feedback. Really appreciated. I love how we are all different. Lucca is one of the Tuscan towns I actually love the most. That is what I always say on my website and videos, we all like places in a different way. Again, thanks for your comment
Great video & very helpful...going here this May for niece Tuscany Wedding !
Enjoy your trip and most importantly have a great wedding time
Thank you!!!
Libbiano, peccioli has amazing cypress trees views. Close to pisa, San Giminiano, Volterra, Siena
It’s great to learn about the other half of me, yap half Italian, half English with a bit of Croatian and marred a German. Son married a Romanian.
All the best 😁
I stumbled across Arezzo by accident when I got off at the wrong stop on the train, and what a wonderful mistake!! Absolutely lovely town, so underrated, I went in March so there was barely any tourists.
That's the beauty of Tuscany. You can still find beautiful hidden corners
Thank you!
you had me at Val D' Orcia. Grazie!
😂❤Wow thank you!
Aloha,
Grazie for providing such detailed information!!
What village is pictured at :27 of your video?
Thanks for your comment 👍🏻 San Gimignano, famous for its towers
Hi Stefano, What's the name of the song you've used in this video ("...falling down, rain falling down, another side of heaven")? Great video, btw - we're planning a trip to Tuscany in November and your suggestions are very helpful!
Cheers. Can you give me the minute of the video. Easier for me to look it up. Cheers
@@StefanoFerro 8:15 :)
Did you find the song? :)
Another side of heaven by plastic 3
Hello! What is the music beginning at about 8:15? Thank you!
Cool !
I’m a new subscriber!❤ do you think that the month of December is a good time to visit for a month? Thanks so much!
Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻 it can be quite cold and possibly snowing. A complete different experience with snow. It's very rare nowadays it does happen.
Honestly, if the cold weather is now an issue for you, then December is a good month, not as busy as well
Thanks for the video. Any suggestions where to stay if go to Tuscany for a month?
No worries. It really depends on the month I believe.
If in summer, I would stay in a town close to the sea, in this way you can take easy half-day trips to the beach. Pisa and Lucca are great options in this respect.
In Autumn I would stay in Siena, close to some amazing wineries, great to experience the busiest time of the year, when they pick up the grapes and make the wine.
In winter, Florence, well connected to everywhere in Tuscany and the busiest place in Tuscany (but far from the busy time of summer)
Arezzo is a great option for spring if you prefer to be far from the crowd experiencing the local life.
I hope I was able to help out
Cheers
What is that song at min 7??
W LIVORNO ( ♥️ a beatiful Town), w all Tuscany Forever. Ciao
Ciao 👍🏻👍🏻
Stefano, wife and I are looking for a place to stay between our time in Florence and Rome as we close out our three week trip to Italy. Looking at Arezzo. Would love to know why you mention as a romantic destination. Love your videos.
Romantic because the historical centre is so beautiful but not as touristy as the other cities in Tuscany. Still expect narrow lanes, cobblestone streets, local tavernas, etc. Another town you should consider between Rome and Florence is Orvieto. It's in Umbria, just a few km from Tuscany. I love it. It's located on top of a small hill reachable with a sort of cable car from the train station. The old centre is once again so beautiful.
Enjoy your trip
I wonder where is best and inexpensive to do a long-term rental in Lucca, Pisa or Arrezzo for retired couples? Of course, no car and using public transport.
Without a car ....I would say Pisa. Arezzo if you prefer a more charming town, although Posa is so well connected
Arezzo of course, so many people from all over the world came here to stay... But "the city of gold" is not so cheap.
Love the music and the video. Whats the name of the song?
Thanks. At what timestamp?
Just back from a week in San Quirico d’Orcia. Great location but you do need a car. The surrounding countryside is fantastic. Pienza is lovely, Montalcino and Montepulciano are both very good. Siena is ok but very very busy however the Duomo di Siena makes the visit worthwhile as it’s stunning.
Hi John, it looks like you had a blast there. Wonderful part of the world.
Indeed it can all be done with local transportation. Having a car gives more flexibility of course, but public transportation is good as well.
Totally agree on Siena, unmissable, but busy
Tuscany is inarguably the most picturesque region in the eorld and Val D'Orcia is the cherry on the top of it .
The most beautiful way to describe Tuscany💛
Palio July 2 and August 16.
Thanks
No worries
I want to spend 1 month in Tuscany what do you recommend?

Vivo in Maremma
one word... Pietrasanta
And
I'd add in that if you want countryside agriturismo you'd be better off learning some basic italian phrases. The miscommunication can be frustrating at times when you don't speak the same language.
Indeed, not everyone talks English. A few words will help. Also there are a few translations Apps which are great for that
Pisa... the most overrated part of Tuscany
Pisa is not only about the tower and the cathedral. There is more than that in the old town. Certainly is not as beautiful as Siena or Florence
