Personally i believe this is the perfect game for those who are new to the series. Also i think its up there with the other games in the series as a worthy sequel
Disgaea 6 is probably the best game in the series so far, and easily the best game for NIS newcomers. I didn't touch any of the DLC and the game felt totally complete. I'm just looking into the free Hololive stuff now. I don't know who Hololive are, but I might just check 'em out if I like what I see here. I don't really care about Valvatorez, Rozalin, Adell, or the other characters, so I probably won't buy their DLC, and the exp/money-pack DLC seems very unnecessary. Every game should have the option of being "Way Too Easy". Disgaea is never going to try to be something like Tactics Ogre or Triangle Strategy. It is known for crazy outlandish stats, but up 'til now, you had to grind crazy outlandish hours to enjoy those crazy outlandish stats. I used the battle-programming & Auto-Battling features a bunch, because I could get back to my work or studies while my Switch was auto-battling in the background, and that gave me some assurance that I won't be under-levelled for the next chapter of the game when I needed a break to play for a while! I'm so glad they put the whole "Super Reincarnation" thing into the main story this time, too! They keep advertising how high your stats can get in Disgaea game trailers, but if you don't get to really play around with it until after the end of the game, when I would typically want to move onto something else! Now, I mean they still advertise the max level as 99'999'999, but at least you can reach Lv.9999 and reincarnate when you're just a little ways into the main story, and that they acknowledge reincarnation in-game makes it seem much more like a deliberate feature and not a bait-and-switch.
For sure. I really enjoyed the auto battle feature to assist with some of the grinding. Plus, I programmed it to how I would act had I been controlling it for the majority of cases, so it worked out to streamline it.
@@NerdProblemsGaming It was a really pleasant surprise to see a little visual programming interface in the game. I wasn't expecting something this new out of NIS at all and it was really refreshing to see them break expectations like this.
Have they fixed the performance issues for the switch version? I prefer having it for switch to play it on the go instead of getting it for the Playstation

I didn't notice any issues when I played. I also don't dive deep into frame rates or anything like that though.
Thank you, I'm really excited to play this now!
Awesome!
