Disgaea 7 became my third favourite Disgaea game after 5 and 4. It's magnificent.

I absolutely love number 7. Im 235 hrs deep. Theres no turning back now.

maybe i didnt play long enough but it seemed to be constant rinse repeat levels to be able to pass the end boss etc
7 is good but 5 is still the best. Hopefully they're working on 8 bringing Asagi, magichange, and better weapon skills. Beastmaster, and the wolf are surely missed
7 seemed to come out pretty soon after 6 did, so maybe 8 won't be that far off.
5 isn't as good as 4
To me 1 and 2 are fire 5 is very good.

@@NerdProblemsGamingwell they now have character models to work with let's pray they reuse 90% of them and add more (particularly more monsters classes). What we all want the are ridiculous planet busting overkill skills. or the fun one like top shot and the zombie arcade.

This is an amazing series! After Christmas, this is the first game I’m going to buy. This is a heavy month spending-wise. I’m sure a few gift cards will help me later this month. Glad it’s just as good as we’ve all expected!

I really like 1 and 7 best so far. I've only played 1, 2, 6 and 7 though. Got out of the series for a few years. I'll have to check out 5 and play them all!

I heard 5 have the most depth and customization and i love that because i like complexed games instead of the AI doing everything for you. Have you completed 7 yet ?
@quisshmoov6313 cool. Yeah 6 was too much AI, but 7 toned it down a bit so it was still challenging. I'll definitely have to pick up 5 at some point.

Is it me, or there no combo animation in 7. I enjoyed 1-2 because I setup the combo and watch them run. But now it just ........uh!
Lost 90% interest in the game.

@@NerdProblemsGaming Hey! Do get me wrong! It's just my personal opinion. The games overall look great and the story sounds good with all the extras features. They all count. But me playing the game myself and setting up a massive combo I like to see domino effect and work I put in. Not see a couple of portraits popup and single move delivered. They could have design the game to have both with a option switch. It like making action movie but you only get to see the end result without the action.

For sure. I enjoyed the story of 6, but I think 7 was more fun.
6 was boring as fuck. Buy micro transactions for boosts were required for max leveling. On a Reincarnation system gross. When 7 dropped people saw day 1 micro it's and ran.
Not because of how it performed, but because it was terrible. Performed refers to its sales, which I doubt many, if any, people cared about. If you've sold someone a full priced game that would be generous to call a mobile game, then people are going to be wary of giving you any more business.
Personally, though, gave 7 a try, and no contest, leagues better than 6. An astronomically low bar (yes, even the story, it's garbage), but it overcame it. I'd still say it's one of the lowest in the core series (I'd put it over 3, and probably over 1, since 1 had the growing pains expected of the first in a franchise, though not even close to 2, 4, or 5), and one that personally couldn't hold my attention to the end, but it's definitely worth picking up on a sale for anyone that likes tactical RPGs.
