- For those of you who love fragrances like Terre D'Hermes but find yourselves desiring better performance and more depth, Incident Diplomatique from Jovoy will make all of your dreams come true. For lovers of citrus, spice and smoky vetiver.
I had commented on or Guerlain LIDGE video. I had disagreed with you on that one. I think they smell the same. However this one we can agree ,I think you nailed it. I tried a sample and fell in love. I bought a full bottle. It’s absolutely in my top favorites. Great video!!
This is something i need
I think any collector who is beyond the "blue freshie/gourmand" phase would appreciate this in their collection ! (Not sure of your collecting preferences,,this is just a personal feeling)
@@realscentreview of course I love this house Jovoy
@@Mr.Cologne Hell yes.
Which are your favourites from the house?
Private Label is a total wonderful beast in my books
Very interesting. Never tried any of this house.
I already have quite a few vetivers, so I'll try to get a sample of this one to avoid redundancy.
@@realscentreview which one would you prefer more? Incident diplomatique or private label?
Only in 100 ml bottles!
Having 50 & 30 ml options seems like a good idea.
From a consumer perspective I have to agree!
Hi the bottle is new ? I heard it is been reformulated
Kenneth Branagh's son giving fragrance reviews is the best thing ever.
Gilderoy Lockhart
@@realscentreview It is uncanny! But I'm sure you have heard that countless times. Nice vid! Love the way you pronounce your 'A' vowels. Are you from the Northeast USA?
@@allenh.7373 I honestly had never heard this comparison before - normally the comparison is to Prince Harry.
People always comment on my pronunciation but I don't hear anything overtly unusual about it.
Nova Scotia, Canada - so yeah, basically northeastern US 😅
@@realscentreview No way dude, you are way better than Prince Harry. He looks like a prisoner in his own house and you look full of life! I'll definitely need to order a decant of this fragrance after your review. Thanks for confirming about the location, people from Nova Scotia are pretty cool.
How similar to montale vetiver patchouli and which one you like better?
Great question.
Vetiver Patchouli by Montale is my all time favourite fragrance, but i'll try to keep my answer impartial as possible.
Incident Diplomatique has booziness, spiciness and citrus. Also, there is a smokiness because of the type of vetiver used. Mandarin, nutmeg and whisky are detectable. This scent is more grassy.
Vetiver Patchouli is more vegetal because of a watery, carrot accord. It has no booze, spice or citrus, but there is a very slight hint of smoke from the vetiver. I feel like the patchouli is just ever so slightly sweet in this one, though it is is not a sweet fragrance at all. This scent is more earthy.
Incident Diplomatique has better performance, but not by a whole lot.
All in all, they are not worlds apart but they are not redundant either.
Thank you so much for this detailed comparison. I have around 20 montale but when I watched your review on vetiver patchouli I put it on my to buy list. By the way you should try their oud edition, I think it's their best oud so far.
@@amigobro1557 have you tried Aoud Cuir d'Arabie?
