    Always clear and Concise with your appraisals. Beautiful floral arrangement in the background as well.

    This one smells very close to Guerlain Vetiver , that old world fashion chipre's - lemons and vetiver grass type is presented here also ( IMHO) . Of course Hermes makes it modern and slightly sophisticated in comparison , due to the added ambroxan

    I love this one... the first time I sprayed it I took a walk, and couldn't figure out where the sensational woody-spicy wafts were coming from. Lo and behold, it was this beauty. Thanks for the review. I find this a nice alternative to the original, which is everywhere. 🌹

    So glad you reviewed this. I purchased a sample of the edt, parfum , and this one. I quite enjoyed all of them and will have to pull the trigger on this. Not quite a year into my journey and am enjoying it immensely! Keep up the good work!

    AC!
    Good Morning!
    You are on a roll - 3 videos back to back!
    Sunflowers 🌻 and Glads yesterday and now those beautiful geraniums 🌺! You know God is a gardener and loves gardeners - we are full of Hope!
    Sunny skies, cooler temps (53F) and a bit windy this morning. Put on Mancera Red Tobacco but would have on this had I seen it earlier.
    Yet another wonderful review my friend. Thank you!

    Absolutely love this one. Sniffed the other Terre d'Hermes fragrances, and this was the only one I wanted. This one gets you past that initial tangy'stingy citrus blast VERY quickly and proceeds to get right down to the real business I'm interested in: the vetiver.

    Sebastian's verdict on Eau Intense Vetiver was, if you have the other Terre d'Hermes scents, why do you need this one? Nice, but...why? Now, for me, never having owned any Terre d'Hermes, the point was moot. And when I did smell the other Terre d'Hermes, I realized that, for me, Sebastian's question was entirely turned on it head: if I get Eau Intense Vetiver, why would I ever need the other Terre d'Hermes? Which just goes to show you; each of us has our own nose. I'm brand new at all this, but I am learning that I take to geranium in scents. I have also gotten to like something wildly, galactically different: Hermes H24. It wasn't love at first sniff, but having been given a sample when I bought the EdV, I tried it, and tried it, and, whaddya know, it turned into something I could easily live with as a statement of "me".

    Nice review, AC . I'm wearing a sample today, and pulled the trigger on a FB. I also own the EDT and EDP. Redundant? Yes, perhaps. Unique ? Definitely. (No need to overspray vAnd takes a several wearings to truly appreciate !) But the EIV goes in another direction. ("Rounded" ) Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous. Perfect specimens. I can't blame you for showing them off ! Cheers !

    Great review, as always. I picked up both Eau Intense Vetiver and the standard EdT early this year, and have enjoyed wearing them both since the spring, although I definitely prefer EIV. It's got a pungent earthiness that is amped up by the sharp citrus and Sichuan pepper notes. To me, it calls to mind a dense, tangy, orange, lemon and grapefruit marmalade. Delicious, and not at all synthetic to my nose. I got EIV in a gift set along with the aftershave lotion, and find that they work even better together. The aftershave is a fresh orange bomb that leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and toned. It has decent longevity too, and complements EIV perfectly. Add a couple of spritzes of the EdT on top, and you have a triple whammy. This combination has been a regular part of my summer rotation this year, particularly after an evening bath following a day working in the garden. Not for the daytime heat, obviously. This would not be my choice for an interview scent, either (Grey Vetiver is far more appropriate, imo).

    • @SmellsGoodfragrancereviews
      @SmellsGoodfragrancereviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wow we could be smelling completely different fragrances. EIV to my nose has no pungent earthyness, its straightforward dry woody vetiver, completely synthetic perfect for daytime heat and doesn't even smell half as nice in the evenings.
      Its completely safe scent so perfect for interviews.

    • @Blog4Justice
      @Blog4Justice 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SmellsGoodfragrancereviews Well, your nose is far more evolved than mine, I'll gladly concede. I do generally agree with your assessments, though, and always seek your counsel when I am researching new acquisitions.

    Again, being new to all this, I was curious as to what reviewers meant when they talked about vetiver being "dirty" or "clean". My only experience with vetiver (a wonderful experience) was L'Occitane Eau de Vetyver. I didn't even know it was vetiver (or what vetiver was) when I bought it; I just knew I loved it. After watching you and others, I learned that vetiver was a woody smelling grass. Now, after wearing TdH EVI, I think I understand better about the clean-dirty nuances of vetiver. I am guessing that the vetiver in TdH is dirtier than L'Occitane's.

    I've had a sample of this for months but didn't wear it until recently.
    This is my favorite of the line so far. 2nd would be the parfum, but I dislike the EDT and have only tried the Eau Fraiche once.

    I like the Edt and this one. The Edp and Eau Fraiche are to sharp for my liking. The Fraiche especially has a cleaning product vibe about it. The intense vetiver reminds me a bit of Bel Ami which is always a good thing. Nice video Ac.

    I have this perfume, your review is 100% accurate! and I think this is the same vetiver as in Dior Eau-Sauvage (parfum), dry down of both is quite similar- so basically if you have one you do not need the other.

    • @Blog4Justice
      @Blog4Justice 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You mean the 2017 formulation of ES EdP? I have got to know both of them quite well this year, and I have never noticed any kinship between the two. They are very different takes on citrus and vetiver, to my nose. They are both delicious, though, and my appreciation and enjoyment of them continues to grow.

    • @amitfromisrael5006
      @amitfromisrael5006 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Blog4Justice yes the ES 2017 ppafrum (which is EdP) starts lemony (not orangy like Hermes) but the dry down imo is the same strong nice elegant vetiver in both of them
