For timing, I always like to look at actions around the querent. If they say, "When will this happen?" it's a very passive question and gives the impression that they just wait for it to happen. The ace of pentacles can be a year, but I'd rather say, "When you are able to take a different view of what you want to physically manifest" or "In about a year IF you are working toward turning the corner and leaving the cycle behind. The ace tells you there is a POTENTIAL for a new beginning on the physical plane, but here's how you show up for that. It doesn't happen magically."
Hola 👋 I really enjoy 😊 all of your videos especially the ones on tarot. I loved the way you teach clearly to the point and you speak really clear easy to understand I love 💕 ❤️ 💗💕 ❤️ wait for more videos thanks
What happens if the timing card drawn from the top of the deck is a major arcana card? Do we just carry on drawing cards till we get a minor arcana 1-10 card to determine timing?
There are some other timing methods that use Major Arcana, but I have not found them useful or accurate. So nope. No timing is indicated if you draw a Major Arcana.
No, I have not tried that with this technique. But there are probably better spreads specifically dedicated to past life / karmic issues. I’m currently away from most of my Tarot library; I will need to research this when I’m back in Texas.
The explanation for WHY each suit corresponds to certain timespans is something I haven’t seen anywhere else, this is great! I have a question: why is it important to take the extra card from the top of the deck and nowhere else?
To preserve the order of the cards as originally shuffled when the querent asked their question. I’m a stickler on this. Same for any clarification cards; they come from the top of the deck.
Also, if there’s no timing with the court cards or the major arcana card and the last card is a major arcana or a quart card do you just pull another card that is not a Court card or a major arcana card For the timing?
Yeah…sometimes I just break my rule and pull an extra card anyway. But I usually read a Court Card or a Major Arcana card in the final position as a gentle warning from the Universe that things are not quite settled yet due to a person (the Court Card) or a Really Big Thing (a Major Arcana) to get a firm timing on the matter.
There are some systems that use astrology. One of the places you can find a list is on pages 65-89 of T. Susan Chang’s book “Tarot Correspondences.” For timing using nothing but court cards, there is another list on pages 129-143. In that system, Queen of Pentacles would correspond to the period of December 13 - January 9. Here is an affiliate link for the book: bookshop.org/a/94879/9780738755120
You could pull an additional card or use the last. It really is a personal preference. In short spreads I usually do pull another card for timing so that the last card of the spread can just be about the possible outcome without the additional burden of also having to carry the meaning of the timing. It’s also a cheeky way to get a timing card when the last card of the spread is a court card. As the reader, you are always the one in control. You can always break these rules according to your own intuition/instincts. I did a reading for myself the other day, a little 5-card Past-Present-Future one, and totally broke the “pull an additional card for timing” rule because I liked the answer I got without it. 😁
Thank you for sharing this! From all of systems and techniques I've came across, this is the one that makes a lot of sense to me and feels right

Agreed. We don’t want to promote passivity with our predictions. 💕
I am still learning/mastering the tarot. I loved this tip on timing. Thank you.
I've missed this video Georgina. Thank you for sharing again and for all that you do in the tarot community. I have learned so much from your videos
Yesss It is days away❤
Thank you for sharing! Very much appreciated and similar to the system I have been using. 🌼
Thank you so much
This adds another dimension to my readings great stuff!!

What about the court cards? They don’t tell time either like the major arcana cards? Thank you! Great video😊
No timing with Court Cards in my system.
now i know 😮😱

Have you trying to put/ apply these technique on past life spread ?
Or you have your own past life spread / karmic spread ?

@@georginatoland ah please make a video when you got something, i am interested.....

Love this. Very simple. I have been looking for more timing info because I just haven’t been satisfied with other techniques. Thank you!
Would the knight of pentacles be 1 year?
Sorry, but no. My system does not use Court Cards at all. Sometimes one just has to embrace the uncertainty if no timing is indicated.
Why less than 7?
Hi
What if we pulled cards like 3 to 10 Pentacles
How should we interpret time?? Please reply
3 Pentacles = Three years.
10 Pentacles = Ten years.
Rough, but that’s how it works.
@@georginatoland okay thank you so much ❤️🌈 actually I have read that tarot can predict upto 2 to 2.5 years. That's why I got confused
If you specify a shorter time period in advance, then of course you would disregard this timing method.
In timing would knight of pentacles be 1 year?
No timing for Court Cards in my system. (There are other systems that do, though. Not sure of the Knight of Pentacles would be.)
Also, if there’s no timing with the court cards or the major arcana card and the last card is a major arcana or a quart card do you just pull another card that is not a Court card or a major arcana card For the timing?

So the King of Swords makes one week?
Court Cards are not part of this timing method. But perhaps a person of authority regarding the querent’s concern may turn up in a week.
@@georginatoland Thanks for getting back to me!
I just asked a question pulling one card only and I did it twice I got the queen of pentacles both times could you please tell me what that means
There is no timing indicated if you pull a court card. (At least not in my system.)
@@georginatoland wow thank you for answering! Thats Interesting.

1:40 why do you need to pull another card if it’s less than seven in the spread couldn’t you just use the last card as the timing card?
