On 1-1 in the level start there is an improperly placed prefab that you can visibly see to the right of where you land. With enough skill, you can clip through and outside of the map, and since the secret exit starts in the level already loaded you can go to the exit while outside the map without triggering the IG timer. This causes the ingame clock to freak out and generate a number below zero, causing your time to be listed in the negatives. Hope this helps!
Thats fucking nuts, but I have to ask, what is the primary reason violent and not brutal? Is it mostly the mindflayers not having instas? Are there other rooms where certain strats dont clear because of HP differences?
that’s pretty much it. any time saved by the enemies moving faster is massively outweighed by the extra hp bosses have, the mindflayer instas being removed, and the wildly inconsistent enemy ai on brutal. tldr; brutal for multilevel runs is slower
