This is very important podcast. While I don't agree with certain points he makes to whitewash the image of Nizam, the larger point he is making is "very very very important" - It is the "system" that is the most oppressive thing, whether he/she - hindu or muslim who were getting benefitted by the system did anything to preserve that system. So whether it is Deshmukhs, Patels, Marwadis or Upper class Muslims or the Muslim Ruling class who benefitted from the then prevalent system were together in oppressing and looting the common man of Telangana, and went extremes to protect their privilages at the time of Indian Independence.
It's very funny that in today's Telangana, It is the same group of people who are playing Hindu-Muslim game in Old Hyderabad for their own political gains. Sooner we understand this, better it is for the betterment of Telangana.

Professor sir it is said that the feudal lords confronted with nizam when he abolished the bonded labour system because they would not get labourers for their services. Please clarify this also.

నిజాం కాలంలో తెలంగాణలో ఎన్ని తెలుగు ప్రాదమిక పాటశాలలు ఉండె. అసిఫజాహి కుటుంబ పాలనలో తెలుగును ఏనాడు ప్రోత్సహించాలేదు. అలాంటపుడు నిజాం సెక్యులర్ అనడము హాస్యస్పదము. 1323 లో ప్రతాపరుద్రుని బంది చేసి చంపిన తరువాత మహ్మమ్మదీయ పరిపాలన మొదలై, సెప్టెంబరు 17, 1948 వరకు తెలంగాణ ను పరిపాలించారు.
