Long comment ahead. Apologies for telling you about spinning. It's generally more efficient to just attack left and right , rather than "spin to win". Hold z and then press r twice to spin, if you like. (vice versa too) A good tactic is to try and take out your rival safely if you can. Also, something else I learned: if you get 5 stars with taking out cars , you get an extra life. There's a video of some guy getting around 37 kills in 1 grand prix with like 8 lives at the end. 😂 He used Pico I think. With the Fire Stingray, samurai goroh's machine, it has around 1900 Kilos for weight. Based on what I have read, the ship's weight effects how much you retain speed after boosting. Lighter weight allows you to stay faster for longer, and it makes turning more responsive, at the cost of being slippier, if that makes sense. Higher weight vehicles are able to keep from being knocked around as much, and have better traction. Traction allows for higher unboosted speed at times, and less slipping on turns with high speeds. Unfortunately you're going to be boosting more to keep up speed. I had to read up on this to make sure I'm not giving you false information. It's been 3 years since I have touched F zero X on the original N64. Edit, again: Congratulations on winning the King cup!! You earned it.🎉
