Wonderful food and great place.. reminds me of Southern India with all the greenery. Honestly surprised to see Saudi men cook so well. I have never known such dishes existed and glad to see such hospitable people.
The unique dishes I ever saw really look appetising and cooked with passion thanks Mark for visiting this community to show us their traditional food.🇿🇦
You can see 7:27 how Saudi’s greeting everyone with respect, appreciation and love. That’s the good spirit of our religion and culture. In Al Hassa you will feel home from the first moment. Everyone is greeting you with love and smile. You will never see such a lovely and kind people like in Al Hassa and their food is so delicious and special that you will remember for the rest of your life especially their Hasawi Mandi, dates Mamrossah and Asiedah.

Man oh man, this all looks so incredible 😑 Mark was ready from the first shot of this episode, with the local flare and all! This might be my favorite episode of this batch yet - loved the extra focus on the cooking process (and the coffee!). Can't wait for more!

@@Daniel-lq5qq that’s racism
@Daniel the people are friendly tho , the only country where I can leave my car and house unlocked and not worry about anything. The government may be fucked but the people are the best.

Dearest Mark, your unparalleled enthusiasm for food and amazing capacity to find ALL the best eating places in the World is contagious, and warms my Heart and stomach! every time. thank you too for the cultural education..a rare opportunity for many. ALOHA from Hawaii.
I am Saudi from the western region and this is the first time I see or hear about this lamb dish (I meant the brown sticky rice! Looks so good and must be different than our usual Kabsah). I need to try this! Other dishes were unique but the kabsah was more interesting. I wonder if it was easy to make? Thanks Mark and enjoy your stay in Saudi. I wish you and yours safe travels filled with joy and delicious food.
Sticky rice don't look appetizing . Either was that white lamb whatever it was ...
Kabash rice is good . But the one he made look like he added to much water ..im

This is a really Incredible Arabian food vlog, Mark!! Yes Indeed, it's better than gold! The host says "Tell me how it tastes". 22:15 Mark "moves his head left and right...up and down," Your expression says it all for the tastes of various food!

I love the hospitality of Arab people ... Alhamdulillah !
I used to live in saudi arabia for quite a few years. Reminiscing the taste of every food I had. It’s like a heaven for meat eating people. I miss the food so much. Great episode.
One of the great videos on the internet The Saudi Host was Amazing he cooked the food amazing hospitality genuine smile you feel the pure heart by watching the video and invited the whole family to his own place what kind and humble people. allah blessed and rewarded him and his family. What a beautiful place to see and to be with. Ramadan Kareem
I'm glad you are making this series. I grew up at least partly in Saudi Arabia so I'm happy to see others getting the chance to see some of the good things about the culture and people. I'm also very happy that they are opening up so much more in recent years.
There's something comforting about watching you indulge in excellent food while I'm waiting to break my fast during Ramadan. Can't explain it but it's certainly there.
Every country is unique in its way. It excites me to watch new recipes and how food is prepared. Wow! That's a heavy and healthy breakfast that you would go to the whole day without eating any meal. Thank you for sharing, watching from Ohio
What bothers me is that far too many of our Americans choose to overlook courtesy, and appreciation. And the food of the Middle East is absolutely incredible. My wife and I have visited several Countries in the Middle East. We have never been offended, nor treated in any way other than being warmly accepted. Regardless of the income level of the people, they are eager to share, unconditionally share.
I would never get to various countries and Thk U Mark I can vicariously see through you 🤗. I’m not familiar with Saudi cuisines and greatly appreciate all chefs who prepared and explained each dish. I can’t wait to see other videos in this series..Again TFS ☺️
