The Oscars were snubs. Jennifer should have gotten the award for Best Actress. And Forest Whitaker for Best Supporting Actor, he did a good job too.

Not a scratch on Aretha's. No comparison and mediocre. Aretha's voice should have been used on the film.
You can say whatever you want, but Aretha chose Jhud to play her in person. While you're complaining, she's getting more and more awards

@@darrylcameron3008 She was ill and not in her right mind and the original concept was that Aretha's voice would be used. In the end she couldn't care less and the fact remains that Hudsons voice sounds nothing like Aretha's, nobody's voice does, it is a once in a lifetime sound and although Hudson tried her best it is still absurd that a film depicting the greatest voice in recording history used a voice which is mediocre at best.
