Rain water harvesting can be simple and cost effective way to restore the ground water as well as it helps to reduce the amount of water being flown in streets and reduce the flood level in rivers. Therefore all the houses and buildings should be encouraged to build rain water harvesting pit in their house and it should be part of house plan for new houses.
I remember my childhood when i used to carry two bottle and go to dhungey dhara and bring drinking water to home😢😥☺️

Decentralization of development procedure is must. Every zone, every district has rights to be developed, not just Kathmandu. Until and unless we stop pouring development budget in Kathmandu valley only, Kathmandu will not stop deteriorating. Ps: to all the outsiders(don’t get offended), please do love and respect local culture and tradition. Bahira bata aayeko, yo culture ko haamlai baal attitude chai please narakhnu hola. Exactly, Kathmandu valley was known to be city of gods now they have transformed it into city of slums. One main problem is extreme dense population.
For decentralisation, there should be international airports in other major cities. We have built 2 new int’l airports. However, India is refusing to give permission for new air route for these newly built international airports.

Our ancestors had better town planing system....5-6 ghar lai euta chowk for socialism,washing clothes,place for childrens to play,jado ma gham maaja lay aauthiyo tyo time ma aheelay po thula thula ghar lay gham chaykeyyo & tolelai pichay ki pokhari ki dhunge dhara for drinking water, thau thau ma patiharu for travelers...It was v.well organised then but now it has transformed totally into a concrete jungle....
