All creators from Nepal should do a summit whereby they make a plan, in say 5 years, to bring quality movies and series that match international standards , and reciprocate the same to the Nepalese audience. I'm sure such a collaborative vision of renaissance of the Nepalese film industry will be welcomed by everyone. Only then can the faith and confidence among creators ( to recoup their investment ) and the audience ( to get quality content) be developed.

the halls can show nepali movies and even hollywood movies . Its not that only bollywood movies are needed for cinema halls . and dont give stupid logic that why not stop all indian things . Transportation is needed for making our daily lives easier and faster .thay are some how like basic human needs . even in foods nepal is not self sufficient . ands without indian movies other people except you can survive.
Regarding banning all hindi movies, this step is required because in future other hindi filmmakers will not do this mistake showing buddha, sita born in india or mt everest is in india .

You just cant a ban a movie by giving it a "Nationalist" point of view, Don't we have a local censor board who see's the foreign movie? if we do than banning any forein movie doenst make sense. If you are not happy with that change the management team. Also when the makers has said "Sorry" and has already delete those scene, One should appreciate the effort and move on, Dont just get into these theatrics there are much more important things to get done. Ani feri "promote nepali films" doesn't mean banning other hindi movies, There are almost quater of the population who speaks in native indian language (Hindi, Bhojpuri etc) Make good nepali movies so that demand is there for nepali movie. People watch hindi movies as a medium of entertainment. Dont tie up nationalism with movies at least.
P.S The last hindi movie that i had watched was "Kisi ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan" not because i like hindi movie, but due to family commitment.

How many movies that had good story, storytelling and cinematography with considerable budget we have and market polarity we have in Nepal have you watched or even tried to explore despite the marketing and social media sponsoring them??
Before saying make good movies, try to understand or at least consider the efforts many makers here are trying to do. Commercial movie ko matra example hola samjhida. Facebook vari kati movies aauxa family friendly pani tyo pani ekdam ramro storytelling vako. Jasari hindi movies vandai entertainment vandai gaincha testo movies ya pani xa ni. Unerko budget, audience ko support ya vako vaye Nepali makers le ni khurapati dimag lara basdaina thiye hola ani hajur le yo dristikon rakhnu hunna thiyo hola.
As for the ban, someone has had to take the stand. Common people are affected by these little things also. Mayor Balen ko case ma tah waha le big issues lai pani herirakai xa. Tesma yo little issues jasle long term brainwashing ra grooming ma help garxa, teslai pani ta consider gareko ramrai honi.
@@beingcool9698 Well I dont watch Nepali movies neither i watch hindi movies on a scale, certainly not in movie halls, I have passed my age to "appreciate good storytelling and cinematography" because if i choose to do so there are 1000's or foreign movies (english, spanish, french etc) i will be interested in exploring rather than any indian or Nepali movies just for plan simple reason the acting sucks big time!, Further, if you want me to appreciate Nepali Movie and spent few bucks for a movie but that would be like a volunteer donation i can do it for one or two time but that again will not built a industry, So the nepali movie industry has to evolve from its stausquo for almost 50 years it has been under the shade of indian almost 90% of the script are similar to that on Indian movies (may be i am wrong) that is why large population still like to see hindi movies, and my only point was you can ban any movie when you have a proper management dealing with it. When you are at a position of authority you are made based on the principal of constitution, It is not about what you like or dislike or a general public assumption of like and dislike, There are other almost large population which may have a opposite view point, If you want to create any law or policies tht can be done within the yardstick of constitution, So again by common people its not about you and balen and few other thousand, as i said earlier there are almost quater of population that speaks native indian language (hindi, bhojpuri etc) who are not interested in watching nepali movie at all. Then make a good movie in Nepal too. In a year or two, only 1-2 Nepali movies were released that were either the best or enjoyable. If I have to choose between A Mero Hajur movie and a KGF movie, then I will definitely choose KGF. Why would I pay 410 Rupees for a bullshit movie with a bullshit storyline or plot and remove the thought that watching an Indian movie means being anti-national or something? I love Indian and Hollywood movies because they never fail to entertain me. I also love my country, Nepal, but that does not mean I won't watch Indian or Hollywood movies. Why ban every Indian movie? If you have a problem with one movie, ban that movie. Indian and Hollywood movies give profit to the theater owner in Nepal, which most Nepali movies can't give them.

@@mariabelton5144 It's not about small audience or box office it's about content. I heard Ah mero hajur 4 movie has collected 5+ Crore in Nepal and Chakka Panja 4 have collected 20+ crore in Nepal but that does not mean these highest grossing movies are good
But on the other hand Mahapurush which is a box office blockbuster movie, it has a brilliant content and brilliant plot and story line. I enjoyed it in a theater.
There are few Nepali movies which are excellent and brilliant. There is a one Nepali movie called gaja baja which censor board did not passed it due to various reason (i don't know the reason) and it is also one of the best movie.
Indian movies and Hollywood movies doesn't fail to entertain audience and it's a fact, this is the reason south indian movies are always trending in TH-cam (Nepali Region)
It is not about negative mindset that i have but it is about the bad execution of Nepali movies by Nepali filmmaker.
It is not about negative mindset, it is a fact that Maximum theatrical Nepali movies are bad in term of entertainment and in term of content.
Because i don't watch bad Nepali movies (Maximum Nepali movies are bad) that doesn't mean i am anti-national or something like that it is just that i have choice over Nepali movies and Indian movies and Hollywood movies.
Although some Nepali movies have fascinating story lines but filmmakers failed to execute so i will also called that movie a bad movie.
Lastly i also do watch Nepali movies at theater i that movie trailer can impress me. If Pashupati prasad 2 movie trailer will succeed to impress me than i will go to the theater to watch it.
Maximum Nepali movie trailer do tell the story and that's how i know or feel this movie have good story and execution
