As a Bayern fan since 1993 - THIS was a hard defeat against a tactical, defensive but dangerous and experienced team. I still thought we had a phenomenal year, so this loss didn't hurt as bad as the loss against Manchester United. But seeing the Materrazzi ending at the end....they deserved this title. I remember them defeating Barca...fighting for every freaking inch. It was a great final with phenomenal players.
Mourinho added the necessary "Drama" to football ⚽... He was Vocal both on and off the Pitch... His records speaks for themselves.... A SERIAL WINNER 🥇!!!
This might sound hyperbolic, but this channel has genuinely started to get me to fall in love with football again. Over the last few years the money, corruption and attitudes of many modern players have really dampened my passion for the sport. But these amazing videos that you put together, that are so well researched and reveal so much behind the personalities that make up the sport, have really been pulling me back in. Back in the day, my favourite player was Hernanes, because while he was never the best, he married the workmanship of a box to box midfielder with classic Brazillian flair, and his technique with both feet was so incredible to watch. Hearing the stories of players like Michu from your channel reminded me why I love players like that.
Aside from the corruption, the days of talented, quality, passionate and disciplined players are long gone. All we have left are scrubs earning mega bucks. Can u imagine a player like Wesley schnyder being a surplus to requirements. In that Era u can randomly pick quality and talented players from any club either lower class or upper class, they are bound everywhere with little money.. I, myself have stopped watching the mediocrity of this modern day football and players. Only rich clubs enjoys the services of the few good players left. The days a Lyon will send galacticos packing in 2nd round back to back, Rc Lens defeating bayern. days of Deportivo lacorona destroying Ac milan, or monaca beating star studded Chelsea, days that valencia made ucl finals back to back, the days of low budget arsenal edging out Almighty Juve and Real in run up to the finals, A bayern Leverkusen trying to beat Real in ucl final, and many other great memories...
@@hadamz007 I try not to blame the players too much though. They're the ones who are only human. It's the oil barons, uber-capitalists and Saudi royalty who swoop in and offer them obscene amounts of money as teenagers who I put the blame on. And while they corrupt the lives of those young players, they turn the clubs, the stadiums, even the fanbases themselves into corpo-shlock. And they make their own rich selves richer, and the richest clubs richer, and the gap just continues to grow. They suck the soul out of it, plain and simple.

This video answers the question that I have always questioned why did a team that just won the champion league the year prior end up staying in the shadow for more than a decade until their recent comeback with Conte in 2020. This inter-Mourinho team really fit the phrase " The Last Dance".
It was because they were old as the video showed + after 2011 the economic crisis hit Europe and inter suffered they had to let most players go while struggling under debt to get new players what u saw with conte was the effect rebuilding for close to 10 yrs
“For Inter he was absolute Royalty For Fifa he was best coach AND STILL To Uefa was nothing They didn’t award him Nothing You can take a guess why” 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
He called UEFA out, for helping Barcelona cheat. During that era, Senes Erzik was a director of Unicef (Barcelona shirt sponsor) was also in the UEFA executive committee. It's pretty obvious there was a conflict of interest.

Top 5 Managers in Modern Football for me: 1. Ferguson 2. Mourinho, Ancelotti 3. Guardiola 4. Klopp 5. Zidane Maybe Wenger or Conte deserve to be in there?
The way you do these mini-documentaries is great. This is far from the first I've seen you do. You convey loads of emotion. This was a great watch and has me now really interested in watching some highlights again from this season of theirs.
as fans of Inter, it is unreal. He left the team right away after finishing his business. Inter struggling ever since then. I just hope this season will be ours.
A little detail to add to this, namely, involving two players: Ibrahimovic and Sneijder. Ibrahimovic has never won the CL. That's unbelievable considering his long resume sheet of top tier European clubs, and amazing goals. So, in 2009 he leaves Inter to join Barcelona, for a better chance to win the CL. Just, to loose to Inter in the semi final. He was so close to adding a CL title to his carrer. If only he had stayed one more year. He must be hitting himself in the head everyday. The next one is more sad. That year, 2010, was the World Cup too. Besides the treble, Inter had also Won the Super Coppa Italia, and the Club World Cup. That's 5 titles in one season. So, the World Cup final comes, and It's Spain vs none other then, Sneijder's Netherlands. Here's a player who has won all the tournaments he entered with Inter, and is now one match away from writing the impossible history, that arguably no one will ever be able to do. Namely, to win the treble + couple more tournaments + the World Cup. All the great legends, and big superstar names before him couldn't do it. Well, the rest as they say is history. Imagine, if only the Netherlands had won the World Cup in 2010. Sneijder would have accomplished the impossible. The tears he shed after the 2010 WC final were different then those around him.
I remember when he left to join Real Madrid, the top man in the Italian FA came out and said "as long as I'm in charge, mourinho will never manage another Italian team". Obv some bad blood their, yet I never found out what went on.??
Bro those quotes hit different. I'm sitting at home, eating a bowl of rice and beans, watching this video, and I want to run through a wall and fight lions for Mourinho

Mourinho has some incredible feats. People tend to forget: - Won everything with Porto - Turned Chelsea into a great club - Made legends out of unknown football players - Won UCL with Inter an old player squad - Won La Liga in incredible fashion against the best team of all time He might not be the best nowadays or the goat, but he is definitely top 5 of all time. Others might have more honors than him, but his accomplishments alone with Inter & Porto are some of the most incredible feats by a manager.

Great memories and achievement by Jose Mourinho... Can see all his commitment, legacy, charisma, relationship with the players and his passion by winning mentality...
As a Tottenham Fans, feel lucky to have him as a manager before.. our board of directors was so stupid by sacking him before cup final game..
He’s not lying tbh…. These men plays for the badge not for TikTok

The Goat of football videos telling us a story of a football GOAT coach (and they are portuguese, ORGULHO !!)
This was immense, thank you so much for such a coherent breakdown of this piece of history.
You are doing credit to the legacy of an absolute Icon and legend of the game.
Fantastic work here, thank you!
My all time favorite coach... Also the overall the best. This video was better than great. Gratitude is a must.

Everytime I see this scene with Materazzi and Mourinho, I always get emotional.
What mourinho did at Inter was incredible to beat that Barcelona team in their prime was nearly impossible
That was not prime barcelona yet ... Real vs Barcelona was at their respective primes (also remember you had the MSN trio of Barcelona)

When inter faced Barcelona, i thought it was an easy Barca win, as they were inhuman for the last 2/3 seasons.
Inter won the first leg 3-1 still i believed that Barca will win.
Didn't watch the second leg, but the highlights spoke of it really.
I mean those inter players left their soul in camp nou that day. It was spectacular and moist eyes was a natural sight on what inter achieved that day.

But well this is the champions league after all then 😂😂😂
One of the most epic seasons of all time in any club (probably along with the year he won UCL at Porto and his first year at Chelsea, oh and also the year he finaly won La Liga from Barça lol).
The 2 seasons at Porto, where he won everything.
2 first leagues,One UEFA Cup,One UEFA Super Cup,one UEFA Champions league and one FIFA world teams Champion.
Only in 2 seasons .
Mourinho is the MAN.
They gave that man the biggest clubs in the deepest pits, and he dragged them right out and back into the sunlight. He’s a “special one”, none will ever compare.
I concur ❤
Roma Fan Here ♥️💛, He really did take a very bad Roma side from 7th to Conference League champions and probably at the end of the 22/23 we will play in the Champions League. And the last time we played in the champions League was 4 years ago in 2019.
Roma was the strongest team in that Conference League, the other strong team was Tottenham and was expelled from the competition. Teams in Conference League are mediocre teams and Roma was the favouirite by the bookmakers odds to win the cup.

Mourinho at Real Madrid really unleashed Ronaldo. What a crazy time it was.
F such a great video! I used to be a massive soccer fan during late 90s until the end of the 2000's those were the days
I love your videos, I recently have been getting into football and all the stories that you've shown me just makes me like it even more. Thanks for the content
At least you just wait 3 years for your turn in destroying Barca and winning trophy
As an Inter fan for 40+ years, I've been crying the whole video.
This man is a absolute genius
No other manager could be like him..the special one
I remember milito he went from forgotten finished flop to the man that decided the goals in the inter frontline Mourinho really know how to polish covered diamonds

Fantastic TH-cam content. Had warm sentiments for this guy already, and I remember him going to see the bus. We were privileged and probably too fortunate to see that private moment, but it’s all good I think. Thanks for the full back-story. Very impressive all around..
Ive always said it , the 2000s was such a amazing time for footy. The teams , player's n coaches of that period was all amazing. I have not to this day enjoyed football as much as i did back then, n dont think i ever will again . Such a exciting time to witness all those games/moments
That win against Barcelona is iconic, I still remember how Jose Mourinho ran to the pitch when the match was over.
“For Inter he was absolute Royalty
For Fifa he was best coach
AND STILL
To Uefa was nothing
They didn’t award him Nothing
You can take a guess why” 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Why is that?? Why didn’t UEFA didn’t award him anything?
He called UEFA out, for helping Barcelona cheat. During that era, Senes Erzik was a director of Unicef (Barcelona shirt sponsor) was also in the UEFA executive committee. It's pretty obvious there was a conflict of interest.
2010 was a fantastic football year. This inter played like your friends team since highschool. And then the WC was amazing.
The Special One. Most Underrated Manager of All Time.

The way you do these mini-documentaries is great. This is far from the first I've seen you do. You convey loads of emotion. This was a great watch and has me now really interested in watching some highlights again from this season of theirs.
probably one of the most masterful CL victory ever
He won with Porto was Crazy one
The best period in the life of many Interistas, including me. Thank you Jose Mourinho.
Great video! There's a documentary by balon about the 20 year journey inter took to win the treble. I cannot recommend it enough
as fans of Inter, it is unreal.
He left the team right away after finishing his business.
Inter struggling ever since then. I just hope this season will be ours.
A little detail to add to this, namely, involving two players:
Ibrahimovic and Sneijder.
The tears he shed after the 2010 WC final were different then those around him.
his knowledge in depth and personality in explaining is quite engaging...very admirable.
Fantastic content. As always.
Jovem, eu nem sequer sigo futebol, nem sequer os jogos da seleção. Mas os teus vídeos são cativantes. É perceptível a paixão. Muito bom trabalho.
I remember when he left to join Real Madrid, the top man in the Italian FA came out and said "as long as I'm in charge, mourinho will never manage another Italian team". Obv some bad blood their, yet I never found out what went on.??
Winning with inter and especially the manner in which it was done just didn't fit the narrative.
Who tf knows, right? Not surprised he's disliked by authority but here he is again making Roma better and already with a trophy.
Maybe because he was never afraid to criticise shitty refs?
Bro those quotes hit different. I'm sitting at home, eating a bowl of rice and beans, watching this video, and I want to run through a wall and fight lions for Mourinho
yes.. the year i face my first brokenheart season.. 2010 that final se lucio on inter side... we dont have the keeper at kahn level... dont give me wrong butt is really good keeper but we lose the treble to mou...

The fact that Wesley didn’t win the Ballon d’Or was a crime in my opinion, couldn’t think of a more deserving player that season.
Also Eto winning back to back trebles with two different teams I don’t think has been repeated since.
Sneijder really deserved the balón d'Or that year
You are so good at this. Keep getting better. 👍👍👍
I remember that Inter team 2009-2010 a lot of old legends like Figo and Crespo. What a team

Mourinho has some incredible feats. People tend to forget:
- Won everything with Porto
- Turned Chelsea into a great club
- Made legends out of unknown football players
- Won UCL with Inter an old player squad
- Won La Liga in incredible fashion against the best team of all time
He might not be the best nowadays or the goat, but he is definitely top 5 of all time. Others might have more honors than him, but his accomplishments alone with Inter & Porto are some of the most incredible feats by a manager.
the best team of all time is the one that won 3 UCLs in a row... no arguments
