Skyrim's modding scene has provided the most creative modifications for in game magic system, and since it's one of the favorite playstyles of mine, I've decided to showcase the BEST, most popular and most endorsed Skyrim Magic Mods. Personally, these mods have been the core choices on my mod list ever since their individual releases, so hopefully, I've given them a proper showcase that they deserve. If this video reaches 7 thousand likes, I will 100% make part 2 showcasing more magic mods. Huge shoutout to Saphira for lending me her amazing Snow Elf preset for the Arcanum showcase. You can find her socials here: twitter.com/Saphii2812 If you are interested in following myself, Heavy Burns and Sgt. Gimlinho as a trio collaboration in a podcast type of a setting, you can do so here: th-cam.com/users/TriHards Second Channel (Gameplay Clips): th-cam.com/users/SynGaming2 Discord: discord.gg/tSqAghxMA2 Twitter: twitter.com/SynMods Thanks for watching and tell me what you liked or disliked about this video in the comments below!
Cannot even imagine how much effort it took to make this video. Even though I use all 4 mods and know about them for a while, I still knew I would want to watch the whole video from top to bottom. Keep them coming, Syn!
I would love to see a part 2! All of your content is always such high quality so I know it’d be awesome. Wishing you the best with both the copyright bs and your real life stuff ^^
Hey, author of the Arcanum bugfix here. First of all great video as always and thanks for including my fix. Last I heard the original author is working on a more trimmed down version, but It's hard to say when or if it will be released due to the mentioned health issues. Anyway thanks again and I look forward to future videos.
Waiting for part two. Also, I hope Forgotten Magic is part of it, that is also one of my favorite magic mods! Good to see DX Necromancer Robes featured in a video as well, I just love that mod!
Syn sorry if I missed it but what is the red and black outfit your character is wearing at 13:47. Appreciate your hard work and all that you continue to do!
Pls part 2!!! I mod my skyrim for my sister and got her with stable 800 mods!! Your videos have helped me with creating much better and new experience to the game!
the magic mods i'd really want to see would be : * spell customization similar to morrowind's system. * the ability to charge or dual wield those spells to strengthen or lengthen or multiply or enlarge its effects * the ability channel some of those spells into equipped weapon/shield/bow, so they will be cast while swinging or shooting with that weapon or while blocking with the shield
First of all, I really want to see the part 2. Second, I love your videos, and as I want to start making some videos, your edition is a heavy inspiration for me, I love the cinematic way and I want to make that way too.
i was gonna skip by your sponsor, but I play Mech Arena daily. Same company that makes Shadow Raid, I've been impressed the game so far. Would recommend.
With the new gog release, i've booted up Skyrim for the first time in 9years and have been scouring the net for a future modlist. I expected a showcase video, but what i found was a masterpiece. The visual storytelling/character building going on in the background stole the show, and you've found a new fan that'll stay regardless of my inevitably declining interest in Skyrim modding.
Skyrim's modding community gets better and better, and I'd love to see a part two to this! As an extra question, what was that armor shown during the Arcanum showcase? The all white one. Thanks for the showcase!
Great Video! I have a question, what is the armor presented on the left of the thumbnail? The one with the red shirt and necklace? I have checked all of the armors posted, however, I can seem to find it.
I'm gonna use Odin and Mysticism along side each other for spell research. Also I'm trying to find a mod to give Npc's the spells aswell its too bad no one has added more spell related quest or just extended magic in other ways someone probably have I just haven't found it yet.
Can you tell me the animation mod for hands? I've seen the hand thing when you spin the magic ball around your hand and hit it with the back of your hand, like at 12:06, but I don't know what it is. Thanks!
I'd like to see a part 2, considering all the effort you put into these videos. Personally I'd like the animations first as a video and then have the part 3 be a magic mod set again, I can't wait for that video :) I'm an Xbox player so I do appreciate that all of these mods (except the bugfix for arcanum) are on Xbox and hopefully the animations will be aswell
Great video! I plan on including these mods to my Skyrim mod list to try out. Also love all character presets and armors! Wish to know what they are called and what you used to make them look the way that they do?
The edit and cinematics of this video are so well done! But I've to stay that the vampire was fighting THE Dawnguard and not some self-rightous all bark no bite vigilants of Stendar 😅 The Dawngaurd would've stormed her with crossbows and sun magic or armored trolls haha 10/10 tho
Great video (and amazing production as always), definitely would love to see a part 2! Episode 1 of Tri hards was fun as well, when can we expect episode 2?
Great video you love to see it. When you say put the mod you prefer first in the load order as some aspects overlap what does that mean exactly? Will some parts with similar animations or what have you take precedent over the other? Sorry I've been modding Skyrim off and on for years but I'm still learning new stuff and sometimes I don't ask the question and just go with it but I feel like if I don't know the why, it'll make everything more difficult in the long run, just how my brain works. Awesome video though I like your work.
The amount of effort and impressive commitment in these videos it's just out of this world, you make the game look as if it was brand new. Editing and writing skills are next to perfect. May I ask what's the armor mod used by the vampire in this video? Waiting for part 2 on those animations :D
What mods do you use for character beauty? I really like your choices in what the characters look like and want to do it too, but i dont know what mods to use. (You may have a video that i overlooked, but i didnt see it.)
A wonderful magic mod that adds absolutely zero spells is Awakened Magicka. It alters the way magic scales in the game, making your attributed Magicka level the means to increase your power. No longer do you need to guzzle pots of fortify destruction for your spells to scale well at end game. Now, enchantments will increase spell power and pots will increase duration or reduce spells magicka cost depending on the school. If you pump all your attribute points into magicka, your spells will be far more powerful , but you will be a bit of a glass cannon, and how you enchant your gear becomes more interesting as a result.
I don't know if you covered the Dark Arts mod in your channel before but that mod is worth a vid for more immersive necromancer archetype players Edit: amazing video editing, making scenarios for the featured mods is always a nice touch
I really wanted to play a mage type character in Skyrim after years of doing stealth archer so I looked around for cool magic mods coz the vanilla ones were too boring for me. I did try Arcanum back then but quickly realized that it's not a gameplay fit for people who bring in followers or pets with them on their journey coz those AoEs are devastating. I can't remember how many times I've downed Serana because of those spells accidentally hitting her. Thankfully, she's essential, but what about those who are not? LOL
Hey what mod are you using that detonates/shocks enemies into pieces like that? Thanks for the wonderful content. Very entertaining and incredibly cinematic. Great job!

Any chance you can tell us what mod you are using for Gore.
11:08 is this veins on your characters body caused by your body texture or is it a different mod? cuz its look dope like a sith lord.
All my homies use Forgotten Magic Redone SE
Are any of these mods available on Xbox???
Hey in that 6.05 mark, who is that guy being murdered by that vampire woman? Is that dawnguard Cellann? Haha first time i see video ppl murder him.
Cannot even imagine how much effort it took to make this video. Even though I use all 4 mods and know about them for a while, I still knew I would want to watch the whole video from top to bottom. Keep them coming, Syn!
Thank you, it's a lengthy process but I enjoy it. :)
Cheers, James.
Can't wait for part 2, currently making a new mod list right now
I would love to see a part 2! All of your content is always such high quality so I know it’d be awesome.
Wishing you the best with both the copyright bs and your real life stuff ^^
Cheers man, nice comment to read :)
It's always such a pleasure to watch your videos! They're like their own movies and they're also I informational like ✨👌❤️
Glad you enjoy the videos :)
Syn should just make game movies.
Yeah I love these so much. I don't have the patience or expertise to mod Skyrim this way, but it's so neat to watch.
Odin + Spellsword is a great mod combo, in my current playthrough I have a spellsword that uses mage armor instead of traditional armor.

Thank you for creating a bugfix :)
I can't create them myself and am incredible thankfull for everyone that does :D
Would be definately interested in knowing more about the remaining magic mods, thank you for your vids they are amazingly helpful
You're welcome! :)
Excellent video as always! Your new gal character looks fantastic as well. I, for one, can't wait for Part 2 as well as the next TriHard episode 😁
Cheers Faith, as always, nice seeing you eaely in the video's release :)
absolutely beautiful editing as always
Thank you :)
Waiting for part two. Also, I hope Forgotten Magic is part of it, that is also one of my favorite magic mods!
Good to see DX Necromancer Robes featured in a video as well, I just love that mod!
Hey there Syn, Id love to see part 2 with the rest of your content. Magick isnt covered a bunch. Its nice to see. Awesome video once again Brother
I'd love to see a part 2! Loved how you talked about compatibility
Thanks for the feedback, part 2 will probably be coming out eventually considering the feedback so far. :)
Watching these movies on OLED is truly amazing. Straight masterpieces! 🙌🏻

Spell Research mod
8:10 my experience with standard arcanum is that it's not as buggy as many people say it is

Thank you, always flattering reading comments like these. Cheers :)
Well done video, Syn. Grats on the release 😎
Thank you! :)

I love how you mix mods with a little show. Keep up the good work!
That scene in fort dawnguard was epic!!
a really great review ! I myself am having blast with mysticism and Triumvirate and some new AE spells
Awesome video and brilliant collaboration! And yeah - part 2, go :)
I am very interested in seeing part 2!
Absolutely Amazing video as always!
So Cinematic and Cool.
Thanks, glad you're enjoy them! :)
That Warlock spec looks insane! Really nice showcase, thanks for the video.
i was gonna skip by your sponsor, but I play Mech Arena daily. Same company that makes Shadow Raid, I've been impressed the game so far. Would recommend.
Same, Mech Arena is a good 10 to 15 minutes of fun on your phone when you got time to waste. I've been enjoying it myself as well.
You see those warlocks from Triumvirate? They have eldritch blast, freaking eldritch blasts !
Hell yes, I want to see another video about the other magic mods you tried and enjoyed!
production is pretty amazing on this video.
DAMN! This is one of the best mod videos out there! Excellent editing, and commentary!
Thank you! :)

Love your videos man, please release part 2 if you haven't already.
Thanks for the feedback! :)
What outfits are they wearing in looks amazing 👏
Skyrim's modding community gets better and better, and I'd love to see a part two to this! As an extra question, what was that armor shown during the Arcanum showcase? The all white one. Thanks for the showcase!
All armors used in the video are listed in the video's description :)
@@SynMods Wow, I'm blind. Thank you!
MAN. Do you edit these yourself? Very creative structure & videography, I love it.
What's the mod that has the magic circles appear during casting? If someone know please tell me, thank you.
Thank you mech without syn I would not watch any skyrim moding channels and also thank you syn for the best moding reviews on youtube
Thank you very much :)
Great video, please make a part 2, I will definitely put some of these mods in my next run
Amazing Video! I wish you the best of luck for dealing with the copyright claims.
Much appreciated!
Syn u should do a Character Creation Overhaul ✨👍🏾
Great Video! I have a question, what is the armor presented on the left of the thumbnail? The one with the red shirt and necklace? I have checked all of the armors posted, however, I can seem to find it.
Its a Mashup, Knight of the Village (Xudo Version) Gloves/Boots are from the Grandmaster Wolven Armor
what mod gives you the summoning circles?
I'm gonna use Odin and Mysticism along side each other for spell research. Also I'm trying to find a mod to give Npc's the spells aswell its too bad no one has added more spell related quest or just extended magic in other ways someone probably have I just haven't found it yet.
Part 2 plz!!! you have one of the best Skyrim setup! although MxR is my favorite mod reviewer!
Downloaded All of these magic mods to add to my 485 mod list for a True mage build
How do you get the Dr strange looking visuals? Also Im just using mysticism will this go with odin?
I have to know, what mod are you using to get that visual look for spells? I need my spells to have that incantation circle look
strange runes, do you know which mod us to dismemeber using spells?
Can you tell me the animation mod for hands? I've seen the hand thing when you spin the magic ball around your hand and hit it with the back of your hand, like at 12:06, but I don't know what it is. Thanks!
Amazing video, part 2 is needed!!!

Great video! I plan on including these mods to my Skyrim mod list to try out.
Also love all character presets and armors! Wish to know what they are called and what you used to make them look the way that they do?
Hi there could you please share what the gore mod at 5:58 is, or is this just part of the spell mod?
did you find it?

Thank you for the video I’ve been getting back into modding skyrim
You're welcome and welcome back to the community.
Do you have a complete list of all your mods?
What armors does Syn use, those look so good?
What mods do you use for character beauty? I really like your choices in what the characters look like and want to do it too, but i dont know what mods to use. (You may have a video that i overlooked, but i didnt see it.)
You forgot about colorful magic, which has over 300 spells as well as 40+ cool weapons, bosses, shouts, followers etc. It's my favorite
Perhaps will appear in Part 2 ;)
I really like your works, is this fully compatible with your Elden Ring combat mods?
Would absolutely love a part 2
Yes we want a part 2
Noted :)
Amazing work guys, thank you so much!
I would love to see part 2 of this video.
Thanks for the feedback! :)
Amazing work as always friend 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
07:47 what is this armor set? is it a mod? I cant find it anywhere
Great video. Looking forward to part 2.
Thank you.
Can you tell me how to fix the bow drawing arm breaking because FNIS arm fix won’t fix it and there is no solution anywhere
Let's see part twoooooo WOOOOOOOOOOO
When do you reckon the animation video will release, I loved this video and can't wait for part 2 :)
I'll consider it, but it's a difficult format to adapt to my video style. Perhaps one day.
Part 2 would be great and very much welcomed

I used the fixed and optimized version of arcanum on Xbox and it still crashes does anyone know why?
Yes we want part 2!
I don't know if you covered the Dark Arts mod in your channel before but that mod is worth a vid for more immersive necromancer archetype players
Edit: amazing video editing, making scenarios for the featured mods is always a nice touch
With all the suggestions and stuff I had planned, at this pace there will be part 3 as well :D
So where do we find the Tri-Hards podcast episodes?

Let's goo, make da part 2
Can't wait for part 2
Any chances WE can get your character preset for the character at the start of the video?
Hey what mod are you using that detonates/shocks enemies into pieces like that?
Thanks for the wonderful content. Very entertaining and incredibly cinematic. Great job!
The mod is Frozen Electrocuted Combustion.
And thank you, glad you enjoy the videos. :)
@@SynMods Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. Will get the mod. I really admire the amount of effort you put into your videos, keep it up!
Does anyone know what the armor mod is on the arcanum category? I love the look and would like to use it
