Great review bro I agree with you on everything except for the capsule top! I got big hands so the capsule feels like an actual “capsule” in my hands tooo small!
I was watching this video around family so I may have missed it, but how does lever compare to the new Knee Neo lever? I ordered the Knee Neo lever and it just came. Excited to install it on my Etokki sometime this week after the Memorial Day weekend.
Tension wise Knee Neo feels a tiny bit stiffer (I prefer sanjuks) and the capsule top feels larger on the Neo (I prefer sanjuks). Corners are easier to find on the Neo (I prefer Neo in this area).
@ImortalXsoul hey man im coming from sanwa to korean , which lever would you recomand sanjuks v7 (cause it has 4 or 8 way guides) or knee neo (dont know if they have guides to help with corners) , is there a sanjuks v7 low mid full collar or just mid and full collar ,playing other fighting games not tekken
@@FuegoWelding Neo bigger diagonals, slightly stiffer in tension are the biggest differences. V7 has more options regarding actuator size with lower tension. Both have capsule tops and shaft spin
you can only put squircle collars on levers that have options to change them. Technically any lever could support a squircle collar. It’s just whether they’ve been made yet unless you’re willing to 3D print or machine one yourself. Also now there’s little difference between fanta and crown style levers because there are so many options to customise them. Crown style levers have a circular grommet and sometimes a spring to help with return to neutral, fanta style levers have way more grommet options and has a square shape, so diagonals will feel different. Crown style levers tend not to have massive throw. Some fanta style levers can have huge throw, some don’t
Been waiting for this review! You have good taste in peripherals. A couple quick questions: Would there be any reason to use a circle gate over the squircle gate? Also, which actuator size with which collar are you using in your setup?
Circle gate I think is better for players that ride the gate for 360/720 motions in other games. For tekken, I think squircle is better Now, I'm using squircle collar (Buttercade) with stock actuator 14.8mm
i love the review. even if its based on your personal opinion i feel like i can understand where your going with the explanation. i may consider this, but seeing as i have a project for a Frankenstein lever, i may have to reconsider this next to the golden lever that i'm also planning on getting. nice touch on the shuriken bottom, i ordered mine through IST mall but the crazy dongpal version. anyway, i would have the same opinion as you regarding the feel of the lever when playing on it, now i've tested the switch thats the same as this V7 and its really, wouldn't say sensitive, but its accurate to the touch, but it will vary based on the grommet that you have on. now the only thing that i'm worried about is the bobbin on the lever since i'm not sure on how it will affect the return and throw of the lever along with the rest of the lever itself. but this seems over all the most balanced between the V6 which is for mishimas and this
It fits in the PS5 Victrix. You just need a 5 pin Korean wire harness. If you go the bitbang shuriken route you’ll need their 5 pin extension, as well.
Awesome video! Thanks for the review. Can I ask you about that mod on your Etokki omni on the top left? Where can I find that USB button mod? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
My sanjuk v7 doesnt work with both my arcade sticks, does it have something to do with same cables adapter i used for my old lever and maybe you need special one ? Edit : i guess i need conversion cable JLF-H to JST-XH with the classic cable adapter to make it work ? Didn't need it with other Korean lever
What do you think of the Alpha N? I recently got one and put a knee hypertension grommet in. I like it, but was just curious because I’ve seen zero reviews on it , or less then I see for sanjunks, knee neo and others.
@@imortalXsoul ok thanks! That kinda why I got it, I wanted the knee V1, but personally wanted the bat top to match my buttons instead of the red and the machined parts where a bonus. They were also the same price (in store ArcadeShock) . Which I guess I nullified by still purchasing the grommet and bobbin from IST lol. I do wonder if the grommet i bought was the stiff one you said was one the V1 or the one you liked from the sa junks V7
@@Strangz_ODT The sanjuks V7 grommet is the Knee V1 tension but the sanjuks is stiffer because the bobbin and housing compress the tension. It’s the same rubber tho
Hey man, quick question, I'm looking into a sanjuks v6 for slither step canceling on bryan for t8. It was recommended by a pro to get a high tension grommet, however, this is the first stick I'm customizing and I'm unsure of what a high tension grommet is or what exactly it changes. Any advice you can offer?
@@zzz8606 High tension grommet affects how quickly the lever returns to neutral but it’s also tougher on your wrist and arm. I prefer soft medium-medium tension
@imortalXsoul Thank you for the reply! So, if I were to keep it stiffer and go for medium-medium what is the number rating for these? When I see grommet stiffness, I see them getting rated by numbers like 25, 35 etc. Getting into customizing sticks seems so overwhelming 🤣
I don’t think they need it. The differences are the V7 spins, V6 doesn’t. V7 has a larger switch spacing than V6. V7 has a capsule top, V6 has a normal battop (can be changed). V7 is fanta style lever with a KNEE fanta grommet, V6 is a crown style lever with a 30ST violet tension. V7 has a slightly different bobbin than V6 (V7 bobbin made for fanta style tensions). Both compress tension slightly, both share the same nylube materials, both have a 9mm black anodised aluminium shaft, both ship with omron A6 switches. Both share the same anodised aluminium body, V7 has gold and purple option, V6 has blue (They may change in the future). All sanjuks specific parts can be interchanged (shafts, actuators, collars).
follow up question. Which one did you keep till now and I have the Hori Fighting Alpha & Qanba Titan. would they fit in those arcade sticks and would the squircle guide would fit as well? or you have to drill a bigger hole?

Was looking into ordering Makestick Prime with V6 or 7 and for some reason they are not offering any Sanjuks with Prime. I want Korean stick with minimal/no shaft spin. Heard that Knee Neo and V6 don't have any spin, what would you say about that ?
I haven’t tried that yet, but the corners become easier to find using it more. They will be easier to detect with the squircle or square collar yeah, id also recommend grabbing the actuator set to experiment
