Knee and the team that created the first lever got a lot of feedback that the users are getting a lot of random jumps on the first knee lever which is the Rox one. They fixed that with this lever.
In my experience, the shaft and shaft cover didn't seem to fit perfectly, causing noise whenever I moved the stick. I fixed this by carefully wrapping the shaft with a thin layer of paper and securing it with some tape. It worked perfectly! One great thing about the clear shaft covers is that they allow you to customize the look by adding artwork directly to the shaft. You should definitely try it out!
If I remember correctly, the V1 had some QC issues when it came to the rubber/actuator. I had to get a new actuator/rubber and I believe the switches were micron and not gersung a3s. I had the v1 since it came out and ive gotten used to it but the diagonals really screwed me when it came to certain inputs. As for the neo lever, it feels 100 times better than the v1, it has 3 regular gersung a3's and a slightly different a3 for the up direction which I think requires more force and ive noticed I dont get the occasional mis input jump when doing combos.
The plate for the switches is called a gate. The Knee Lever has a square gate that helps you to have more accurate diagonals. Most Korean lever have no gates or some call it circle gate and it's much harder to input diagonals if you're new to using a fightstick.
“I’m not a Mishima player, I’m not a stick player” perfectly executes everything with minimal hand movement 😂. I had a 309 and it was really nice but due to thumb problems I had to permanently move to lever less, would’ve been cool af to have a knee pro lever, wavedashing was easier for me on lever also 😢

I have the Victrix V1 that lacks extra space for thick levers when closing the latch bottom. IST Alpha N fits perfectly, however the Neo has the restrictor. Can i use the lever without the restrictor?
i don't understand why but no matter which grommet i put on this lever it feels the same, i tried from 30 to 55 grommet and it still feels as light as the original grommet
I think the reason it feels slightly more tense than the violet grommet is because of the white acetyl ring on the Knee (and all DX) levers, whereas the normal MJ levers etc have molded plastic inner rings, which aren't as wide and so they exert less tension on the grommet from inside. Other than that I'm pretty sure it's just a rebranded violet 30 tension grommet.
@@imortalXsoul Ah ok, thanks for the info. The only problem I've had with 309Mjs is occasionally uneven switch spacing. The Knee lever I'm guessing takes care of that problem?
Hi 👋, is this lever rocking a CircleSquare Gate just like the ShinSun Korean lever? And if it does that means that the only difference between the two is the groomet and the actuator size? 🤔 Also why there's a smaller hinge? And what position should we place this lever having a smaller hinge.
None of the hinges are smaller. The switch spacing and switch plate directions compensate for P1 and P2 motions as well as jump/up. You'll notice in a lot of levers the switches aren't all symmetrically mounted. Also the knee lever has a squircle collar, the shinsun lever and neo are nothing alike
I have a hard time to hit clean diagonals with this lever after coming from a JLF. Is this normal? I have to hit the db very hard for it to register and it messes up a lot of my KBD. I can't KBD anymore I guess, because of this. The inputs are good, but everytime I have to hit two inputs at the same time, it's very hard compared to the JLF... I don't understand.
@@imortalXsoul OK thanks. I'm trying. Maybe it's the rubber tension that is hard to get used to? I don't want it to be the stick, just me that have a hard time. It was so light with the JLF, and now I can't consistenly get my inputs, especially DB.
@@Cazarace Yeah the tension is definitely tougher than stock JLF. You can get super light tension as well but then you need to control the spring back to neutral a bit more yourself.
