oh i had no idea you can still use the Shuriken even if fully not inserted, i thought the posts would prevent it from getting a good full contact with the microswitches but partially is still fine huh? i personally hate the square gate on the knee lever so i took it out already, and i use a shorter screw to keep the microswitches in. Thanks brother, you're a good man. I have the Knee Lever Neo Premium version, the full metal body one instead of the plastic one which is the cheaper one, but still a great lever. Im gonna go install my shuriken now!!
super review !!! thanks !! Please advise if you managed to remove suriken and install default restrictor + 5 pin to .187 harness?? does it fit in victrix pro fs?
Man I'm thinking about getting that Victrix. I have the Etokki Omni with the Korean lever. I can't find the Knee Neo lever anywhere. Gonna have to wait I guess. Great set up. White Victrix with purple buttons looks great. I think the red is fine because anyone who knows should be able to see the Knee lever from a distance.
@@2Rawh Love the Omni. I never used to the JLF lever. The Korean lever kept me in Tekken. I can do that Korean Back Dash on the player one side. So awesome cause it takes your Tekken game to a new level. My only gripe about the Omni is that it needs that non slip padding underneath for placement on the lap so it won't slide around. I made my own makeshift non slip padding underneath.
@chucklos391 I'll remember that if I ever get one. Also I need to learn KBD lol you inspired me to focus on that today. I just hit Raijin so it's probably time
@@2Rawh that Knee lever is the same thing as what is on the Omni. Korean style lever. You should be able to learn on that. I don’t want to discourage you, but it took me a good year to learn KBD. However everyone’s learning curve is different and you might learn it quicker. You’ll fall in love with Tekken more cause it’s badass to KBD. I’m gonna start work on learning electrics. Also a badass Tekken move. Probably the coolest.
i think its a loss for you using the knee lever neo without the squircle guide at the bottom since i think it looses its intended use. supposedly the guide/restrictor plate would help you find the corners a little easy on a korean lever given most Klevers don't have this. i probably would suggest getting a sanjuks V6 or V7 since they have replaceable collar which has a squircle quide on it, at least you don't have worry about the corners on the klever and still fit everything perfectly oh and in addition to the installation of a korean lever on a victrix, its usually installed sideways since it still has screw holes that you can use for a much better fit. not sure about the height if it will affect it, but i'm guessing not. but you may want to give it a shot
@petekaiser yea when I got the wires to install the squircle gate I did like it more. I just needed those wires for it and the shuriken was already in hand. Yea installation in the victrix was problem free on height. That's a lil piece you can remove for korean levers in the victrix
@@2Rawh but at least this makes my choice in my future levers confirmed. If i happen to decide and buy a klever with a shuriken/5pin board the knee neo is out of the question and if i wanted a guide like the knee neo its the sanjuks V7 or V6 for me. This video of yours definitely showed me that i can't install a shuriken on it without removing the bottm guide
@@2Rawh knee of course is the goat in tekken after all, after how long he has played the game. And yeah you heard right about the V6 and V7, they are awesome klevers
how does the surface feel on the victrix? Im thinking of buying one when the tekken victrix edition comes out. I play on a plexiglass surface on my current stick and i heard the metal surface feels so much better than plexiglass
Oh yea for sure. Three surface is very smooth. My hands are always free to move and never stick and the slight slope allows me to rest my palms comfortably
Is it just me or this lever feels like you need to put a really high tension grommet to not feel too light ? Even a 40 grommet feels too light compared to my other lever, so i bought a 55 grommet to see if it's better or not
Can you put a Balltop instead of the Balltop on that knee lever? Also is there oversize actuators for this lever? I wanted to get the shin Sun for SF6 but the color Gray and White is ugly. And I think this knee lever is the exact same thing but the only difference is that it has a higher tension grommet and smaller actuator.. Also they both have a Circle Square gate if I'm not mistaken right?
@Pichoniix yes you can replace the ball top. Not sure on the actuator one of the only things I didn't think about changing. But I do not know the knee Lever edition actuators are pretty unique in shape. And both do have circle square gate
@@2Rawh Ok just installed it this morning in my Victrix. (Same exact color/model as yours) Loaded up Tekken 8. Works great especially coming from my JLF Otto V2 conversion. I like the product. I do have a spare Knee Neo capsule that I put on the JLF Otto. I also bought the 35, 45, & 50 grommets. I'm thinking of switching to the 35 tension grommet. Edit: Switched to the 35. 30 or 35 is good on it.
I'm new to Arcade Stick sorry for my noob question: but why you need the Shuriken to make it work, its just for a quick and easy installation? It should fit better without it (on Victrix) so you can close the back panel without that "weird" bend, or I'm wrong?

@kisxsxsxesify it fit perfectwirethe harness wires are long though, so some wire management will take place but fit with no issues

also when i put the original squircle gate back in changed the feel too
Hey man do you know if that Korean lever works on the qanba Titan ?
It does. Here is the compatibility list cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0748/3745/files/AS-LeverGuide-ver097.pdf

@datdude15 not hard but takes 3-5 weeks
How do you know what is up and down on this? Is the white text "shuriken" always down?
They have a diagram on the site
if i just place the lever stock in there (with restriction gate) will it fit?
It will

Not necessarily quick. I had ruined my harness needed for Korean sticks but had got the shuriken to try until the harness came in
