That ending, this song, dat everything...honestly gives me the same feeling when an entire show series is ending or a major character in their cast leaves, or finishing off an amazing book series. All at once completely satisfied, but still wanting more. Only makes me more excited for what's to come, knowing they've barely scratched the surface of this story. :D

A man who believed highly in the strength of one's human spirit, who has inspired and connected with so many people... Yet taken away from us way too early. Like... Fuck... Ouch, my heart. Thinking about Monty just from the first line alone. We all miss him greatly. I can't believe it's already been a year. A little over a month before his passing, he gave me the courage and the strength to pattern and sew a huge dress and a corset within two weeks of learning how to use a sewing machine. He pushed me through it and he didn't even know. I continue to create today because of him. I just wish I could tell him how much he's inspired me and everyone around him, even people he'd never met or knew existed. We love you, Monty. We all miss you so, so dearly.

I really needed to listen to this song after I heard that Monty had passed away. Fuck; I'm out of vodka and feel depressed as hell. I will always admire him for his creativity and how he enjoyed life. I never met him, but I sure as fuck wish that I had. I think I will pick up drawing again if only to create a tribute to his work with RWBY

Not gonna lie, when I first listened to this song I started bawling like a baby. At the time I was really depressed and apathetic, and I honestly really needed something like this.
This song and the man behind, more than man than the song..... Shit, I dunno what to say. Is it pretentious to miss a guy I've never met? Is it an insult to his friends, his family, to think I hurt over his death? This guy helped me a lot in my life. Saved it, even, because of who he was and what he did. My friends helped him do it, but losing one of those people.... Shite, I am actually crying.
Everything Weiss did in episodes 15 and 16 made my heart ache, and having this song playing didn't exactly help. I really want to find out more about her difficult childhood in volume 2!

as long as there is SOMONE to enjoy their work...death is temporary and they WILL live again.

I went to play Dark Souls 2 today after not playing it for a while. I went to select my character then I saw all my characters; named after RWBY characters. When I finally stopped crying I listened to this for 10 minutes while PVP-ing. RIP Monty. Gone but not forgotten.

i like how casey sings the words without the extra bad bits that make a song really annoying to listen to and its all natural which makes it so much better!

Man out of all the songs I think I like this one the most.
This song isn't like the rest of RWBY's soundtrack, which sounds amazing anytime. You need to be in the right melancholy-ish mood for this song. If you are, though, you might tear up. It really is incredibly beautiful.
