hey mate, with this full setup is it possible to add a turntable that can also utilize the speakers?

Yes, you would need a 5pin din plug/male to 2x RCA socket/female lead to plug into the aux socket of the beosound 9000, you would also need to use a phono stage/preamplifier 👍

Humm you just connect the Beolab 2 with single 8pin Din Power Link cable from the Beosound 9000, then run Powerlink cables from the Beolab 2 to each of the Beolab 8000s !!

When are you going to get your hands on a Beovision and make videos on b&o surround sound!?

My Main tv room is about 60qm and imho 2 bl2 might be an overkill. Ok.. I use 2 bl penta mk3 as Fronts. 🤣
U can set that up in the TV Menu

@@mdi800indeed defo the way to do it, I’ll just add for irshad that you are splitting into “2 channels”, left and right is something different as it implies stereo, your subs on the other hand will just be playing the exact same sound and stereo doesn’t apply to bass hence subs are not usually in pairs 👍

@@gimble447 There is some music with left and right bass like Marty Robins, Beatles stereo tracks, orchestral music, mostly older music but some modern music has it too. The common thought is that bass is not locatable but when you get 2 subs and a stand up bass is on the right side you really can visualize it on the right side and the left sub is not playing like on the song big iron. For some reason the bass is more clear with subs than just my 9’s playing by themselves. Probably placement in my room so the subs help even it out.

@@mdi800 I get all that mate, I’m just talking about terminology. Also bass isn’t directional, so not easily locatable anyway, an example being subwoofers being stuck in the boot of a car but the mid and treble which are directional has the mids in the door beside the driver with the tweeters as close to ear hight as the can be. My beolab 2 is in quite a large room (admittedly not as large as yours) and manages even 90s dance music with total ease so yours will be really loud with 2 😆

The Beolab in red with the Carbon Fibre is not actually a B&O option. These have been customised by someone to look this way and probably to cover damaged or sticky rubber on the Bezel and centre sections. The rubber coating deteriorating & going sticky is a common fault with the Beolab 2 Subwoofer.

Bought my bl2 when I was 20y old in 2001.
    Still sounds the same.
But nowadays I just use it in a 7.2 Setup. Cheers

Dude, I could only watch 2mn of your video. Too painful... just connect the 5 pin cable from the 9000 to the Beolab 2 and use the two Beolab 2 outputs for left and right beolabs 8000 and that's it !! Crossover adjustments are on the Beolab 2's back... Next time, try not to complicate what is really simple !!

Sorry, aber das "Sound" aus Reflex- und Passivmembran-Gehäusen ist niemals "sauber".
