I use my Steam Deck solely for doing taxes.
It's a business expense!
I was thinking of getting one for that too!
😅
Me too. Tax and VAT deductible. lol
It's actually quite good as a PC with external KB Mouse and Monitor.
I have 4 Steam Decks...I live next to a military base in Italy, and Soldiers are notorious for buying the latest gadgets, getting bored, then practically giving the devicesaway dirt cheap nuat for beer/travel cash 😅 I've picked up three for the price of one new one, plus I have the OLED I got new. Theyre just the coolest devices, man...
This comment is so dope. Peace, Man
That’s dope, get your hands on a rog ally next
Sweet
@@thedefiguy2984 I've been keeping my eye out for one!
Yup just bought a used oled SD from a guy in the army 😂
I LOVE videos like this one. I’m gonna steal this idea for my channel and run with my favorite games from the top 100 list lol. But I’m always happy to watch you talking about the games you enjoy playing, it’s such a joy 😁
DO IT!
How are you not a larger channel? This is top tier content. Hermine has me crying every time lmao
Thanks for saying so!
Seriously. Tech Dweeb should be a household name. I know he must be a big hit with the ladies. Maybe someday I’ll be this cool!
This is truly a mystery to me. I don't understand it but he will be big soon I bet. Don't forget us when you become famous TD😅🧡🖤
Steam decks owner have such good taste
Lol
My Steam Deck is arriving tomorrow!!!! thank you for making so many videos about the steam decK! it was a big factor in me finally getting one! :)
Niiiiice! Enjoy your new toy!
@@TechDweeb thank you! Yeah I got the 1TB OLED and I’m sooooo excited 🤩🤩🤩
@@animeadict17I have the LCD model . If I pick up the OLED model I'll probably get the lowest storage and upgrade it later
Nice bro, i got a second hand 512 gb lcd, came with 512 gb sd card for 330 $ , no brainer deal!
@@AI-Creations-LLC I’m tempted to pick up an LCD 256GB model and use it in an arcade cabinet haha 😂
Hey Dweeb, keep making videos. I used to watch retrogamecorps when his channel was smaller than yours. Keep it up dude you'll make it too brotha🙏
Thanks for saying so! I think I just might 😏
That tomtoc case is excellent. Can confirm 😁 Great video as usual!
Great minds think alike😆😆😆
There's a Pico 8 featured game called Beckon the Hellspawn, which I've been playing and loving it. But now I learned what Vampire Survivors is, and realizing it's basically the same game haha.
Ooh nice to know. A lot of pico-8 games are ports or copies of bigger pc games, which I think is so cool because then you have something like Vampire Survivors on your Miyoo Mini or RGB30. I’ll definitely check out the game you mentioned, thanks for bringing it up on my radar. I only knew about Bun Survivor, which is VS but with a bunny shooting carrots.
This has become my favorite TH-cam channel. I love your work Dweeb. You're entertaining.
Great video! Appreciate the rundown on these games. And you're doing a great job man. Please, keep it up
Thanks buddy. Will do!
Love the style you are using. Video is on point. Def earned a subscriber!
dude these videos are insane. how are you not more popular?!?
Thanks for your videos. You seem to bee a nice guy. Most are quite informative, but sometimes i watch them to just kill some time. There's just this kind of style to them that makes them pleasant to watch, kinda like art. It makes my heart happy.
I honestly appreciate you saying so! You just made my day :D
My Steamdeck is literally as good as new. That's because I haven't bought it yet....sigh....still, great game list Mr. Dweeb.
That's a positive way to think about it! It's just being kept safe for you until you're ready 🥰
Your content has improved quite a bit. Keep it up, man, you'll make it!
I've been loving playing Crash 4 It's about Time on my Steam Deck, along with a lot of indy titles like Arzette, Anno Mutationem, and Corn Kidz 64 has been pretty fun
Hello. All of those games are playable offline (in a train for example?). No problems to launch without network ? Thanks !
Man i love your videos so much thank you for the amazing content 😊
I subbed you’re voice soothes me😂
LA Noire is the one I have been playing the last month, runs perfectly on deck.
totally about to install...
where’d you get the gun from
Love your work man. 👍
Yeah, that work-life balance is what I'm struggling with at the moment. I can only seem to do things 100% one way or the other.. If you figure it out, please share!
I was super close to figuring it out, but then something distracted me and I lost my train of thought. I'm sure it'll come back to me.
@@TechDweeb Oh, I totally feel that. Congrats on crossing 60k btw! You might not have it perfectly figured out, but you're still doing incredibly well! 💚
Bro I enjoy your humor so much you have no idea 😂
The persona games are a great choice for the steam deck! Currently balancing Persona 3 reload with Yakuza 5!
honestly, thought you’d be done with the steam deck by now, Its cool that you still make vids abt it
Would you be able to show your settings for each of the games, particularly the more demanding one?
That's a good idea for a video!
Thought I'd hear your thoughts on the popular Deck games, but satisfied just seeing your love for Finn and Jake in the scene. "What a good boy am I !"
"That's the opposite of a problem!"
One of these days I'm going to get myself a steam deck!
Great video. Can you please share your settings for RDR2? Thanks!
This is the guide I used: www.reddit.com/r/OptimizedGaming/comments/11f2jyh/red_dead_redemption_2_steam_deck_optimized/
I love playing Cult of the lamb on my steam deck. It's likely my most played game on the system.
Wonder how long baulders gate 3 will take to complete?
I think it's one of those games that you can blow through pretty quickly (relatively speaking) or spend ages doing every little side thing.
For cloud streaming like moonlight/ge force now would you say steamdeck OLED or Logitech g cloud?
Gcloud for sure. 1080p screen, more lightweight, comfortable form factor, I personally find it more comfortable, and most importantly a 12+ hour battery life.
@@TechDweeb thank you for the reply 👍🏻 I wasn’t too sure I like the aspect of OLED but then again with 1080p and comfortability I may wait until it reduces in price currently £350 (445 dollars)
I love my steam deck I just bought Diablo iv for it.
Everyone and hopefully soon I can join the Steam Deck Community and play these awesome games and setting it up for emulation etc.
Can't wait to save up enough smackeroonies and make my dream come true. Love🧡🖤
Humans are a social animal. In order to survive, we need to club together just like wolves. This is why the notion of "validation" is so deeply ingrained in our psyche. The good thing about us humans is that our population is vast & diverse. There is always going to be a niche group of people that will embrace you for who you are. And it is for those people you do everything you do. Our unique passions are to be shared among those who appreciate it. These tightly knit groups are what make life worthwhile. At the end of a tiring day or at the end of a very tiring week, coming to this channel is what rejuvenates me and gives me the energy to keep going. So, my sincere thanks to you TD for making all these entertaining videos 😊
Well said, and thanks for saying it!
Been playing Solasta on the Deck...Love it!
Been playing The Saboteur which runs and looks great, battery estimates about 6+ hours I think, solid 60fps, this one is actually better than I remember
Tech Dweeb is like watching a grown Chuckie Finster inform us on the world of handheld gaming…and I’m all for it.
When I think of Techdweeb words like “normal” and “mainstream” are the first things I think of.
The Elden Ring and Vampire Survivors Steam startup movies are awesome too.
I played a lot of Red Dead 2 and Cyberpunk on the deck. My old laptop died, and it was not quite powerful enough to run those games anyway. So replacing it with a more powerful, handheld that cost half as much was a no-brainer. I played a lot of GTA V on the Deck because my 360 died before I could finish that game. I've been getting into The Witcher 3 on the Deck, which before that I only had on the Switch.
I use my steam deck for fighting games alot, street fighter 6, kof, mvc, etc. It's the ultimate fighting game experience imo.
I need a recommendation for a good modern fighting game like those that is cheap. Maybe a few years old. Cheap on Steam. But a really good well loved game. Which would you suggest?
Multi-versus comes out soon, free and brand-spankin'-new.@@TechDweeb
Just bought a deck because of this video, thanks!
Nice! Enjoy!
bro's having a personal problem with Todd
B.Horsman
BG3 has been life changing, it's a once in a generation game. I love it got/getting the love it so well deserves.
Our boy uploading like a demon!
I am addictive video games player ..but I don’t care about what you are talking about considering the video games, I enjoyed on this video , your way of describing your experience in games and presenting your self with nice and adorable way 👍
What is your top 10 games? You play on the steam deck
That's a good idea for another video!
@@TechDweeb I was hoping so
Perhaps different categories would be cool too.
I got a 512GB LCD model but I'm planning to upgrade to a 1TB OLED during the summer, really would wish Valve did another run of the limited edition:(
I'm sorely tempted to buy a Deck to play The Saboteur, It was just re-released on Steam and the nostalgia is making me want to do something stupid like buy a €569 toy I don't need.
I disagree. You do need it.
Emulation, and all the good rpgs (baldurs gate 3, skyrim, wartales, last epoch, octopath traveler 2, chronotrigger, sea of stars, witcher 3, red dead redemption 2, project zomboid) tend to be my favorite on the deck, I also enjoy card rogue-like/battlers.
Im glad ya striving for a better life balance ❤
you should definitely play Signalis and Tunic
I've been tempted to pick up Stardew Valley again just to start from scratch (around 200 hours on Switch 😅)
Hello and good day to you. Here are some games I highly and strongly recommend for you to play on Steam: Inside. Doom 3. Planet Alpha. Catherine. Dark Light. Stray. Replaced. Madison. Sonic Adventure 2.
I don't have a deck, but every small screen handheld i'd just use various side scrollers, turn based games, fighting games.
I don't get playing 3D games on such a small screen.
7" feels pretty big when it's in your lap. Obviously tiny text isn't great, but I have no problem playing lots of 3d games on smaller screens. Lotsa people don't like it though, so at least the Deck has a docked mode!
Wow how did you get red dead to look soooo good? What settings?
Good place to start:
www.reddit.com/r/OptimizedGaming/comments/11f2jyh/red_dead_redemption_2_steam_deck_optimized/
Assassins Creed Black Flag!! On the deck it runs at a solid 45-60 frames on high (I keep it capped at 50 and i never notice dips) and it’s the perfect pirate game
You really need to get a win mini. And dont forget to play Helldivers deluxe edition (the 1st game) on your deck.
I never thought you would be the normal guy and I'm the odd ball. The only game I played on the Deck a lot in the top ten is Vampire Survivors and played only a couple hours with Ted Dead Pension 2.
Funny thing is that I play only early 2000s games and wiiu emu on a deck. The only modern-ish game I play on a deck is actually fallout 4 😅
Can anyone honestly answer me
Where the hell do you play these hand held?
I don't have time apart from in bed
Do you lot play when family are next to you?
Or do you go off else where to play on them?
I love my x55 but I just don't find enough time to play it
Because I'm on my computer or arcade bartop
I play them on lunch break at work, on the toilet, on my deck in the cool of the day, waiting to get my oil or tires change.
When did psychicpebbles made a tech review channel 😂😂
Wish I could get one myself one day. It ain't easy to get one where I live. That and a lack of money lmao
For me, it's a deck builder roguelite that has blown up on Steam. It's called Balatro. The game is way too addictive on the Steam Deck, or really any device.
Oh I know ALL about Balatro. I'm super addicted right now!
I freakin love TomToc cases
Damn the only game I own on that list is Palworld on my deck! Been playing a ton of FFVII remake 👌
My #1 played game on my steam deck has definitely been vampire survivors. Only thing that comes close to that is Chrono Trigger, which runs better on the deck than on pc.
I play Helldivers 2 on Deck. No BS you can play it fine even on 7-9 difficulties.
I play palworld a lot it's like my main game that i play. They put a lot of content into it.
Does it run better now then? At launch it made me almost puke because of the bad framerate so I did only play it on my PC.
@@Bambeakz if you adjust the settings I get a smooth 30 fps
Mgs v and death stranding. And Tetris effect
Alright, alright... take some love.
It's been a while... DeckTweeb!!! I'm proud to say that I have NEVER played any of these steam games on my deck!
DeckTweeb. I love it.
Gabriel Newell is super ancient and my hero, Valve won't survive without Gabe.
100%
After 100 TechDweeb videos... Am I just now realizing his "Mom" is his wife?
🤫
roll tide?
Mom's are real
Me too, I didn't think it was a real person until he said she played a game and liked it
I’ve only played (at all, I don’t have a Deck) GTA5 on PS3 and Vampire Survivors on iPhone. And my god!, vampire Survivors is awesome!!!
Personally speaking, I’ve been playing FF7 Remake and Yakuza Like a Dragon a lot. Both are perfect for the deck.
Stardew, Elden, and Vampire are the 3 I have.
Stardew Valley is available for some retro handhelds via PortMaster!
Resident Evil 2 remake runs great without raytracing enabled.
I think the reason is that the people that are drawn to the deck are very similar.
how in the world do people play games like BG3 on a controller or steam deck?! If I didnt have amouse and KB there is no way I could have handled a game like that for that many hours.
I had to return my steam deck because my hands are too small for it ;~; it was a thing of beauty though
I have stardew valley on my RG36S.
Nice! I have it on my 353v too :D
For me: Steam Deck + Decky + XR Plugin + Xreal Glasses + games like Cyberpunk 2077 = VR but I don't have to get off the couch.
I have all these big games DLed and end up spending most of my time on Balatro and Hades. 🤷🏾♂️
Haha totally.
Never heard of Paleworld, am I going to die?
You'd fit right in
Im sorry you showed a retro game system that was only 40 dollars...if I may ask what was it id like to check it out..... Subs...and, likes>.. great Vid.
That's the R36s. Great device! th-cam.com/video/rhIroaomYlM/w-d-xo.html
Yo! If your mom really plays it can you make a content out of it?
7:15
THANK YOU!!!
I swear, no one wants to admit the obvious about this game just because they are having fun with it and feel a need to defend it. If you understand the context of the AI generated models claims, then you understand that there are some significant reasons to believe that they are indeed AI generated. Beyond that, it really is just a Frankenstein of multple different successful games like Pokemon, Valheim, and Fortnite. Not saying that the devs just didn't do anything themselves. Considering everything above and the fact that the game launched with tons of bugs though, and a fair amount that were game breaking in a sense, this should have been a $20 game at most.
One good thing I will say about the game is that I'm glad it got so popular because it shows Nintendo and GameFreak just how successful a real online open world Pokemon game would be. Hopefully it was a bit of a wake up call for them to get their sh!t together and make the game that people really want without it running at 20 FPS with constant bugs.
People that play games like RDR2 and Cyberpunk mainly on a Steam Deck could never be my friend :p I just don't get them.
Perfect machine for games like Dave the Diver, Stardew Valley and some older 3D games but the big AAA games are for the big Oled screens i my house.
I'll take RDR2 any way I can get it! I play on my ultrawide gaming rig, I'll play on my 70" TV, and I'll play in my lap on the Deck. I love playing games all the ways!
@@TechDweeb Yeah so we never gonna be friends. Nothing changed 😂
I don’t judge. I also play it sometimes on the Deck but not mainly 😜
Good vid but not a chance in the world gta 5 is as fun as the deck as it is on PC, the 800P resolution I've thought is wayyyy more noticeable in gta 5 than any other game I am constantly pulled out of it because I can see every Pixel so distinctly, also gta games just require keyboard and mouse for maximum fun the ability to perfectly headshot everyone while driving at 150mph makes it SO much more fun in a way that is just not possible with a controller
Pico8 Celeste is my go to
There's one thing with the review... The hate Cdprojekt received for cyberjunk was completely deserved.
It wasn't about the bugs, it was about lying/hiding the real state of the old gen versions.
I was his biggest fan when they release the witcher 3, and now I don't trust them at all.
That's fair.
Rdr2 plays so good snd days gone. I also play one piece odyssey anx teardown . I wanted cyber punk bit i heard it plays rough. I might get hogwarts or mw3 orrrr
Maybe there's been updates because I remember hearing how bad Cyberpunk was, but when I tried it for the first time a few days ago it was actually good! If you're okay with 30ish fps it's totally playable and enjoyable. They have a 'Steam Deck' preset that works great.
@@TechDweeb oh awesome I'm gonna get it then that's all that was stopping me lol . As long as there's no stutters . 👌
vampire survivors I thought the same thing it was in gamepass I tried every loves the game in my family
I have not played any of these games on my steam deck. Probably because I don’t have one. Which is a real shame.
u only have 68k subs? i thought u had more, since u been around for a long time
