I’ve ran in to 9 after playing for 12 hours
I went from bronze to plat
not many but matchmaking on console is horrendous. i’m high / low gold (on & off cuz randoms are horrible) but the matchmaking will give us people who are barley able to get a kill against a copper, and platinums on the other team. me and my squad literally brought a 3v5 up to 4-4 but both of our teammates left the 3rd round. we had those same teammates a match earlier. one had a diamond charm and did horribly. the matchmaking is just absurd because almost every game me and my team are either carrying or we get a 4K, die and our teammates somehow lose a 2v1.
Ive had several completly obvious cheaters in casual
lol i’ll never know since on console the only cheaters are mnks and ddosers so they are all closeted

@@dinkberg id strongly suggest switching to pc if you can. Its so much more fun and you can use apps like tab stats to check everyone’s rank and kd to know if they’re cheating.

@@mouse7211 Yeah, there are a ton of forums on it to keep up to date on cheats. Have you ever noticed sometimes you'll Yellow Ping an enemy and they'll all of a sudden start freaking out and looking for the camera? Yeah, they have a cheat that alerts them to being hit with a Yellow Ping.

@@aazelion5189 Im almost an exclusive Casual player after the decline of Siege IMO after Yr2. I'm on EAS server which means I get to play With Chinese/Mainland, you will be amazed how a lot of them likes to cheat from simple auto flick to literally noclipping in the map.
And in rank? Multiply that by 2x and thats how rampant it is.

yeah that shotgun no spread thing does give some ideas for a more slug based shotgun shell, it doesnt seem like it would be TOO unfair, he did miss multiple shots that a normal spread shotgun would've hit. he was so obviously walling, tho
@@RainmakerXBooty there are slug shotguns in the game already, they're not used because they don't have anywhere near the close range performance or the destructive capability of the ones that use buckshot.

That's honestly a really valid point, the way I found your channel was through you exposing cheaters and I now regularly watch vids of you reviewing cheater's gameplay. It's such a shitshow to see how much of a problem it is to the point where channels can literally monetize it.
This is still the most inconsistent game I've ever played, and at certain times incompetent. It's a shame having played this game since day 1 and seeing it go down this way.
We need Siege 2. The game itself is too old, and we need an entirely new build of siege.

0:00 Siege took a real hit back when they announced that they would start taking hacking as seriously as they could back in early 2020, leading to mod/hack creators just trying to sell as many scripts which just made it so you had a solid +90% chance of having a hacking in your match
it's kinda funny how ubisoft can't manage a replay system but every other esport game has almost flawless replays.
Cut them some slack man. They aren't a AAA studio. It ONLY took them 6 years to release Match Replay.

I work in software industry and let me tell you, there are times I want to fix something but not allowed to because management thinks something else is higher priority. This is the same for Ubi. The upper management has different view points than the devs. I actually really respect Siege devs as they have done so much incredible work over the years.

@@jasonterry8719 Yeah that too. No other game has destruction engine like Siege. Explosive and caliber based destruction is so awesome. Sure we have many bugs, but Siege still is WAYYY different and difficult to implement than other games.

I love the use of the timestamp parts. It’s just nice to see the breakup of the video. It is hard to explain, but I just like to see how long each segment is, when the next one is, etc.
By far my favorite Siege content creator. I got the charm, Twitch & YT sub, and enjoy every video you put out. Not over the top and edgy, not boring and dull. Great work!
Siege is an almost 6 year old game with one of the most toxic player bases in gaming and a pretty bad cheater problem. Is it really surprising that the player count is dwindling?
Yeah but even with all these problems, Crimson Heist had an all time high player count... I'd say it's because this season is so bland and boring. The game is stale, no ranked rework and we didn't even get a change to the rankd map rotation pool
it sucks because gameplay wise its one of the best games out but they have whored it out for cosmetics for so long and didnt focus on the health of the game. they are killing their own game
A big thing personally, as weird as it may sound is like, the UI / EX elements and such. Feels like it's leaning way more arcadey / OW style, and i dont like it. Saw a comment recently about RE6 that was something along the lines of "It used to be a semi-realistic shooter with believable gadgets, and now it's sci-fi," I feel that too.
Idk, there's a lot of little things that have changed , lots of people will have lots of reasons
@@Hisslizard absolutely agreed. And rather than stick to the original vision of the game and make it based in reality, they went the opposite way and tried to make it “appealing” to everyone. The only thing that is mildly realistic at this point is the movement. It makes me sad man, they could have changed the gaming sphere with a grounded-tactics focused CQB multiplayer experience. Now it’s just a fucking cess-pool of toxicity while everyone is deploying sci-if kit at each other.
I'm honestly really surprised it lasted this long. I saw it upon release and liked how realistic it was but never got the chance to buy it until whatever season Kali came out, albeit a month before that probably. It didn't feel quite right because some of the stuff was a little out there, but once the walking hologram came out, it fully killed the vibe for me. Was hard only playing with one other friend, much less alone. Player base sucks and the game just doesn't feel the same.
Hey varsity, the recoil effect also happens in kill cams if they are using a cheat.

I have watched more of this series this month than I have played the game this year.

it's not only the cheaters and bugs that stopped the fun for me, a big part of it is Ubisofts extreme greed lately:
- they took away the shop discount and didn't even include it in the premium battle pass
- they bring up more and more skins that you only can buy with RL money like the newest Kali skin
- they bring back old event skins (don't get me wrong, I don't care if newer players can buy them but Ubisoft just brings them out for ez cash. They brought back all or most of the Outbreak skins...without a discount or the actual event. People who bought them 3 years ago also don't get anything for it...like a "thank you for your loyalty" gift or something like that)
...I love Siege but I really hate how their only priority lately seems to be making ez cash without any effort

@@juliusk4304 the bugs and cheaters always bothered me but seeing that Ubisoft seems to more focus on milking his fans dry lately (more than ever) but without fixing many issues the game has, really pisses me off...
I don't mind helping sustain the game but Ubisoft doesn't really give us something back lately for supporting it with our money (they even took stuff away with the discount) ... KingGeorg released a video on youtube yesterday (at least yesterday if you live in Europe) where he talks about his opinion about skins, it really sums up what I'm thinking
About shotguns: I'm pretty sure shotguns have been silently buffed or something because I've lost count of how many times this season I've been sniped and downed or killed with a shotgun from full health and way too far away for a shotgun's normal spread. I've noticed a lot more people using them this season than ever before too because of it
Pump Shotties got a massive buff a few patches ago. Tighter spread at longer ranges and just more consistency. Maybe a silent buff in the newest patch but it was a noted change in patch notes a few updates back.

So when he was like “what new hack is that he didn’t even hit him” during the match 5 part of the clip the only thing i can think of is hackers on black ops 2 since they could look at the ground with an LSAT and end everyone in the match without looking up so probably that or just hit registration being weird

@@mazda09ize same tbh, then again I play on PS4 so it isn’t as bad, but you do get the trashcans who decide that they can’t get good with controller so they use KBnM on console, and getting ddossed, my question is, is why do so many people spend like 200$ on a Xim or some other kind of thing to play KBnM when you can just use it to buy a PC? If you saved the money from the PS4 and all the games, plus the Xim And such, you’d have a nice almost 600$ gaming PC, atleast depending on how many games you have bought, if I hadn’t bought all my games I’d probably be close to 1000$.

Cheaters fail to relize they ruin the game they're cheating in, if they do it enough, the game will die and then even they won't have fun. Absolute scum of the earth.
That “new hack” is silent aim which isn’t new. How aimbot works is that there’s a fov or a circle around your crosshair and it’s size can be adjusted. When you scope in on someone while they are in the fov, aimbot locks onto their head or body. With silent aim, as long as the person is in the fov the bullets will travel directly to the person no matter where the gun is aiming.
It's funny at 27:46 when you have the menu open, we can still see the dudes name anyways, despite you trying to hide it

With the last hacker, it looks like it maybe a damage hack versus a spread hack, explaining the one-taps but certain inaccuracies.

yo I was Jamal Murray in the first Theme park game. You didn't see later on PackPusha was tracing me and my teammates through walls like crazy. He's 100% cheating.
I think I subbed back when I was watching siege content and playing. I dropped out around when the new camera placement changes happened then random saw these kinda videos in my rec. Dropped in like "Oh I forgot Varsity was a channel." Then hearing him go on about how him explaining hacking in siege is reviving his channel so long he only does them.
When me, a person who only watches these kinda videos be like. "Ughhhhhh wops."

there is a cheat where even when the bullets are shooting way off above their head for example, the bullets are redirected to hit their head. i have video proof of it happening by watching a kill cam, so it might not be a match replay thing.

i remember me and my friends came up against a bandit who sniped with the german shotty from office window above visa all the way down to police line spawn, and when he went sledge his shotty had the firerate of smg 11. it was fun

I have truly given up hope for siege. It's not fun anymore. I'm stuck in such low Elo due to so many bug and disadvantages ( like angles ) that don't even make the game fun anymore. I went from playing upper plats and lower diamonds to playing with nothing higher than gold 1. My 5 stack has completely broken up, with me being the only one that has the game still installed. As you can tell I'm a female and game chat has gotten beyond toxic that I don't want to give any sort of call outs other than pings. It's sad that I have to report at least one person almost every game I ended up talking in. It really is degrading my self esteem.

@@Aaron1Ayala speaking as someone who used to cheat in apex and warzone (I no longer cheat in those games or play them) it often stems from extreme frustration from losing over and over again. It’s the easy way out. An alternative to actually practicing and getting better.
That first clip is one of the most common run outs, you know which two walls they have to come past, yeah it looked fishy but plenty of people get that exact kill when they play this map

Yeah it's weird, I've faced more cheaters this season than I have the whole time I've played the game (600hrs) and I almost exclusively play casual

About the shotgun spread hack in match 9, I played with a hacker in casual (on my team, i queued with them to interview them) and they had this no-spread hack in Neon Dawn. It's not particularly new, but he said there are better hacks, and it is quite obvious sometimes, so no-one really uses it.

On some plays, I be doing the same thing on controller, I try to move my sight I lil bit but it ends up between they shoulder and their head like I overshoot it. You have to touch your stick(controller) the slightest bit sometimes.
Eddy just makes me sad. Most wall ESP’s show a little line of where people are aiming at the moment. If he just flanked once he could’ve done wonders lmao

I don't think they do, most of the time it's a tracer from the user to the enemies but I've never seen one with a guide to where the enemy is aiming
@@alphaplayzz1381 I’ll admit I haven’t looked into what siege cheats have available to them due to not playing myself so not really caring what to look for, but the games I have looked into (sea of thieves, csgo, tf2 & mw2019 all have an aim direction included in their player ESPs), so I was kind of assuming.

@@TheGrible It's because the guy that submitted the clip said he was someone else on the team and accused himself of hacking so that Varsity watched his gameplay for free clout, which Varsity understood and decided to censor his name.
the shotgun hack is actually just what happens if you use anti-bloom with a shotgun, it makes all the pellets hit right on the centre, which you can also see by him doing so much damage when hitting with the centre crosshair but not when half the reticle is covering zof during that fight in the bedroom of villa. hope that helps :)

In all seriousness get a 5 stack and practice in unranked with callouts and droning. Practice aiming up at heads in T-hunt, have strats for every bomb site, and maybe other tips that’s all I can think of off the top of my head

silent aim & bullet magnetism are very common now amongst fps shooters - I first seen them in cs:go but they're very popular in COD & siege now
Varsity needs to work for siege to ban hackers
One man can't fight them all, we need an overwatch system like in cs
@@gorkemaykut5230 the overwatch system in CS is trash as well(in regular CSGO) Faceit and such are probably better though. Most games I’ve played that has a ban system like overwatch and Battleeye are just trash at banning hackers. Although there are a few games that do it well, but I think it’s rare to find those games compared to games like siege whose ban systems suck.
He false accuses people every video (like the first guy in this one or the champ in the last), fuck no. Varsity is dogshit and has no idea what he is on about. Seeing him watch the first guy do basic micro adjustments and accuse him of AIMBOT is rage inducing.

Oh no Siege is 100% dead. Cause of Ubi pushing only pro-league metas when 90% of players didn't even play ranked back then. Now its 50% hackers and 50% sweaty smurfs, and all they care about is what to nerf next after some pro league player starts whining about it.
