When I was a kid we always got to open a present on Christmas Eve and read Luke 2 before too! I hated having to read it as a kid but appreciate it as an adult now.
Spend as much time with your loved ones as you can. You never know when it will be your last. I lost my mother on December 18th & laid her to rest on December 21st. She battled cancer for 3+ years. She lived with me & I was her caregiver. This was my first Christmas without her and I miss her terribly. She was my best friend. Sometimes I feel like I can hardly breathe. I've never felt a pain like this. Even when I lost my Poppa 20 years. At least I know they're both together again. That gives me some peace. Needless to say my Christmas was very quiet.

You brought back memories with this one. Christmas Eve night in the early 70's our family lived in two tents as we built our cabin in the mountains. We moved that night into the cabin and 3 feet of snow fell and collapsed our tents. The door to the cabin was a tarp and we were so grateful and blessed to bunked down in one room in the cabin. I was just remembering the winter of 73. My first winter in the am. I was transferred from Germany to Alaska in July 73. All new guys were taken out to the woods for winter survival training. We had to build our own 2 man shelter. And learn about copying with Alaska winters. So you all take care................be water my friends

For past week and on Christmas it was minus 35 to minus 40. I used to work outside in the winter, jobs were shut down at minus 35. My wife was in the mining exploration business, and she kept her snow machine in the tent so it would start. Tent was similar to yours. Your children will always remember the tent. Next summer take them on raft or canoe trip on Yukon. It is a tame river with no rapids in your area.

I spent Christmas Day with my Nephew that was estranged since my Sister's passing 6 years ago... We spent Thanksgiving together & then Christmas eve we had a huge traditional big Family & Friends dinner & exchanged Family gifts... Then on Christmas Morning My Nephew & his Girlfriend & Her Mom came & picked me up in Corona California & drove me to Puerta Nuevo in Baja, Mexico for a Christmas Lobster 🦞 dinner... I had the BEST CHRISTMAS DAY that I've had in YEARS... I felt So... LOVED ❤🤗🎄🎁

My Christmas Eve typically looks like this: candlelight service at church followed by driving around looking at Christmas lights while drinking hot chocolate then opening our Christmas Eve boxes (new pajamas, new Christmas movie, and some movie theater style candy).
We are getting a winter blast of snow in Oregon from Canada.,nothing like you. We Only got 3 or 4 of inches but supposed to snow off and on all week. Yesterday it snowed then sunshine then snowed again. We only get snow about every 3 or 4 yrs and usually doesn’t snow that much. Oregonian don’t know how to drive in the snow. Lol lol

Our Christmas Eve family tradition is everyone gets a gift (new pajamas) and then we make some hot cocoa and all watch a movie together. This year we got all three of our girls Mickey Mouse pajamas to see if they would get the hint...they did not. What a great surprise it was the next day when we told them we were going to Disney in April!

We could have slept out in a tent Christmas Eve here in Tennessee with no heat at all because it was 60 degrees! Also have you all ever considered showing some cooking on your channel. You make some yummy stuff. I would like to see more of that. Or maybe like family Go To’s. Thanks
