I did the first check which was bending the wallet and i heard the plastic noise, but once i took out the cards inside, it no longer made the noise so make you you take out your cards before doing that check.
You won't need this problem if you buy one retail at the Louis Vuitton store !!! Don't spend all that money for something that's not a real authentic Louis , you'll feel better knowing you have something legit , worth the few extra bucks
I agree. If I’m paying $ like that it better be real, so for peace of mind I’ll go to the boutique. Even the store associates say the fakes are getting so good that sometimes it’s hard to tell

TBH I’ve never had a fake one so I don’t know if the materials used are the same. But some people pay a high price for even a fake one because the seller has passed if off as real.

The ones made in the USA don’t say anything. But the first letters of the date code should tell you the country. Yours is probably USA though. Off the top of my head I know that SD & TX, leading date codes are USA made
Mani Notbougie I would check the date code and see if it’s a valid one. Some reproducers have gotten cleaver. Or there are authenticating companies that can authenticate your item. They fully inspect it. The date code has changed throughout the years but for newer items in 2000’s the code begins with 2 letters for the country it’s made and 4 #s. The 1st & 3rd # identifies the week it was made and the 2nd & 4th identifies the year. So I have one that says TX0290 So that’s made in USA the 9th week of 2020.

You could just buy the real thing....it's harsh but if you can't afford the real thing, dont but it fake. It's insulting to the brand and to the people who buy authentic items.
