- I've finally recreated the Heroes 3 town theme videos that were featured on my wife's account. I have seen that some other TH-camrs had copied them and re-uploaded them at lower quality and without attribution. Thanks for keeping them alive while the good quality versions were down. Please credit Shyranis and Khalbrae though if you use them. Feel free to embed these videos in any web pages or wikis as well. You may use this video in your own videos but please link to this original as well if that's the case.
The Tower is associated with arcane elements of fantasy, and armies are composed of wizards, magical beings, and animated constructs. Towers are at home in Arctic environments. The might hero is the Alchemist and the magic hero is the Wizard. The kingdom of Bracada is of the Tower faction and good alignment. I guess you could say any time you are up against a fully upgraded army you're more or less playing Attack on Titan.

This is the longest piece in Heroes III. It's definitely the more complex and best piece in my opinion. The soaring strings and woodwinds crawling up and down is fantastic.

This piece reminds me of Russia for some reason, like the cities of St. Petersburg or Moscow. Really fits the cold, wintery atmosphere of the Tower Town, imo.
You hear this music as you’re walking outside in the freezing cold, trying to get to the library. After you reach the entrance you’re immediately greeted by gremlin servants who offer to take your staff and fur coat in the hallway. You then hurry up the stairs to join the other Mages in an old, but pleasantly warm library hall. What a heavenly feeling it is to just sit by the fireplace, study in silence and read about the history of magic spells. After a while (1:55) you look outside the window and notice an army of golems marching in the snow blizzard. They’ve been ordered to build additional dwellings for nagas and gargoyles. Their obedient mechanical movement almost reflects the law and order of this land. Somehow you feel very safe here. If any fool tries to attack he will be met with the wrath of the Titans dwelling in the temple. You linger on this thought for a while, before shaking it off. Enough daydreaming. Knowledge is power so you return to reading your book. The time is now to focus on the final chapter titled : “The Art of Chain Lightning”

Paul Anthony Romero is an amazing composer, and well I actually googled it and he was actually a music prodigy as a child, so no wonders here ^^

True. I hope that someday it'll see a proper engine upgrade like Diablo 2 Ressurected, when you can even switch graphics mid game from old to new with map generator etc.

the new generations are too busy being offended when they get good advice , heck I was born in '87 and I love music from the 60s for example. This game has a learning curve , but it truly is the GOAT.

one of the things i liked about heroes 4 was the fact they deleted inferno completely.
All are good but my favorites are Rampart and Necropolis.

This is very fun town to play. 3 ranged units, library for extra spells and heroes with very high wisdom so praticaly never run out of mana.
This is the air of a Chopin Mazurka to it. Kind of in the way it has accents on the 2 and 3 of the 2/3 and it doesn't take itself too seriously.
Game of my childhood...tower & gremlins was the first thing I saw and I didn't even had a PC backthen, been able to play it a bit thanks to my school friend, sister's bf and my mother's friend at her work place thus such short moments were even more precious, not to mention childish perception, deep immersion thanks to amazing music and art style.
Imo, H3 setting\art syle\atmospehere\music is just perfect, this is what true classic fantasy should look & sound like, masterpiece.

I have a genial idea. How about collecting money and building the tower town in real world. With all that buildings, libraries, mage tower etc. It would be nice something like amusement park. If some investor do this then he earn alot of money + he will give the people real fun.

It’s the grail building. Bring a grail back to a town and it gives a huge amount of money per turn and a random other ability depending on the town
This particular grail unveils the whole map, providing vision. I would say It is the second most useful grail structure, right after the conflux rainbow. :)
I have always found that little cabin/house infront of the capitol building a bit out of place.^^*

Всегда эстетически нравилась и музыка Башни, и оформление замка. Ради этого готов был даже терпеть титаническую стоимость строений и существ. Уютно, сказочно, красиво, будто альпийский городок, полный волшебства.

A hundred years later from my childhood, I’ve pretty much stopped playing games. After being screen-bound for half of my life, I’ve somehow ended up doing the classy dances as a side distraction, as opposed to mosh pit dancing that I wished I’d do when I was younger.
