I liked the look of those lip tints, they are the sort of lip colours I like as well.Loved your crochet shawl, beautiful colourings, I have followed that account for a wee while now.Keep up with your sock knitting, keep challenging yourself with different techniques. I have . I have now knit Stephen Wests socks and just love the challenge in them and his supportive youtube tutorials with the patterns. He has taken me out of a comfort zone and now know , anything goes! How lovely to see those hot air balloons fly over. We have them come over very early in the morning usually about the month of April, I love them. There is a festival at a lake/park about 40 minutes from here beginning of April. My husband had a flight a few years ago , he loved it. Family gave him a ticket for a birthday present. It lasted about two to three hours. I like the idea of your vision board, looks good.

Hello Abby from a dreary corner of the South West of England. I have started to knit a little scarflette from a free pattern by Loop London called Tiny Tassels. I am using my yarn that I dyed on a retreat at Lay Family Yarn. Beyond thrilled with it. Your mood board is a gret idea and I think I need to think about what i would put on mine. X

I love those Christmas puzzles you're doing. Where did you find this? What is the brand? You may have mentioned in a previous vlogmas video where you got it, I'm sorry I can't remember. I'm sure there are plenty of others out on the market, but I'm curious about this one. I might do this next year.

Enjoying your Vlogmas videos! This year was the year of the sock for me. The Bakery Bears did Sock Stash this year (and last year, as well), a year long sock mal for their patrons where you make socks and stash them away for Christmas, whether they are for yourself or gifts. The Crazy Sock Lady (in Ohio, like me!) does Summer Sock Camp every year - a summer time sock mal where you make as many socks as you can (or want to) and I participated in that. My goal was to learn more about sock making and just improve overall. I made 18 pairs of socks this year! I kept 15 pair for myself and gave away 3 pair (1 to my daughter and 2 to my momma). And I learned so much! It used to take me 6 months to knit a pair of socks, but now I can knit a pair in a week if I have the time. I hope you share your sock making journey next year. I'd love to see your progress. ◡̈

Hi Abby, your shawl looks lovely and so does your xmas blanket, ive decided to try knitting socks, my husband has bought me some yarn for xmas, im excited to try but nervous as i usually crochet rather than knitting cos i struggle with rectifying knitting if it goes wrong, but we'll see how it goes x

Hi, I'm sat watching your video (for the first time) and the first thing I've noticed is that you seem to have a halo. 😇.

Hi Abby! It was lovely to spend this time with you before I log in for work. I have met so many wonderful people in the crafting community through youtube videos. I attend a knitting retreat now every year in New Hampshire with Olde Thyme Knits (Marie, who is a fabulous knitter) who hosts it along with The Autumn Acorn (Judy Jewell, a fabulous knit and crochet designer and yarn dyer) - because I found them both on youtube! I think crafters in general are good, kind people. We only want to make things that make everyone else happy (and ourselves, of course!). We love to make people smile, don't we? As a crocheter of 42 years (by the way, I would love to know how long you've been crocheting and who taught you ◡̈ ) and a new knitter of just 5 years, I really wanted to challenge myself this year. I joined in with The Bakery Bears (Kay Jones has WONDERFUL patterns and tutorials and their podcast is a lot of fun) for Sock Stash 2024 and I participated in the Crazy Sock Lady's annual sock make along (Summer Sock Camp). My goal was to knit 12 pairs of socks for myself - I have managed 14 pairs! And 3 pairs I gifted to my mom and my daughter. I created my own December advent box - it has the socks I knit for myself, some cowls that I knit and crocheted, some yarn I bought at a fiber festival, and various other little crochet and knitting goodies. December will be fun! Looking forward to your Vlogmas episodes!

When your beautiful friend pops up and you realise you have two episodes to watch 🥰. I use Chiaogoo 80cm needles for my socks and just love them, you are doing so well with your socks it has taken me forever to learn. I’m so happy you loved your little parcel. Another lovely vlog Emma. I love your socks - well done. I knit a couple of pairs of socks a few years ago following tutorials and I am working up the courage to tackle another soon so I shall have to take a look at Emma C. Other than that I am working on sewing and quilting large Christmas stockings for 3 grandchildren along with a winter shawl for myself and rustic blanket for the home so plenty to keep me busy! Were you really serious when asking about joining you on a trip to the UK next year? I am actually a Brit now living in Canada (23 years) and would love to meet Belinda and Kelly - have been following them both on the u-tubes etc. both lovely ladies!

Loved watching…I have knit lots of socks over the years…so portable and easy for on the go projects! I am working on a granny square blanket, Christmas socks, and another Musselburgh hat. Adding that granny shawl you showed to my list of “wants” to make next

So, while I have been in between vlogtobers and other podcasts (and while my husband is away on business - the only time I can exclusively watch youtube videos LOL) I have been randomly selecting podcasts I haven't seen from everyone I follow and I chose this one on a whim. I have to say I LOVE your photo gallery wall and it has given me the best idea. We lived in Japan for 4 years and have been back in the US for 6 years now. While we were there, I took dozens of photos of the cherry blossoms trees in bloom. It was my favorite time of year. How beautiful would a wall of cherry blossom photos taken over the years be? I'm going to be selecting my pictures this weekend and sending them off to print! Thanks for the bit of inspiration! (by the way, your hacienda home is just gorgeous!)

So fascinating to see the field of cotton growing, I have never seen that before, I don't think that we grow it in NZ. Love your pattern books, especially the Tilda book. Your tray bake looked so delicious.
