The demand for these $3500 headsets has been low, and production has even slowed down due to these sluggish sales. Tech reviews have slowed down, and it looks as if people have moved on from the Vision Pro so quickly. This begs the question - why does no one want the Apple Vision Pro?

Because it’s $3500 dollars.
Spot on. I would actually think about it at $1000-1200.
I wouldn't buy this toy if it was 300 dollars
basically
That’s one of the reasons
Yep
He explains it for 14 minutes I can explain it in 8 words “I’m not dropping 3500$ for that shit”💀💀
I could build a pc with best parts and also money left to buy monitor and mouse n keyboard
That is the first reason the video is next reasons
@@50H3i1 and a game 💀
That's 7 words. Don't ever spread misinformation again.
@@dusc I was counting the 3500 dollars but okay have a nice day
Technology is becoming obnoxiously obscene at this point. To see companies charging insane prices for unnecessary products never ceases to amaze me
What amazed me are the sheeps still buying it
Hahah true@@twntsvn
Like the first TV sets? Electricity? Automobiles and the internet?...they became "needed". The question is, will these? If this could be put into a regular set of glasses (so I could see rl around the edges) and they were lightweight and affordable, I would go for a pair of VR/Augmented-Reality glassed.
@nunya___ arguably they became needed because they were completely original; they served a new purpose, this has been seen before ( aperture mentioned VR headsets with video games) and clearly hasn't kicked off. I'm sure there will be new developments with this product in order to boost popularity and improve efficiency but for now it seems wholly unnecessary
@@s4turns_lov3r50 I agree, it's not needed. But maybe Apple's bid for the VR market will drive innovation with developers (because it's Apple) and force Quest to push harder in their R&D.
Too little application for too much money
Brand value 3000 $ + Utility value 500 $
I think we just found the perfect tool. We love our smartphones because there's a clear divide between our online experience and our offline experience. We don't like it when the line between these two gets blurry
I totally agree with you. And i think that's why 3D TV's from some of the biggest tech companies failed to gain attraction. We human subconsciously just want a clear line between our real world and our digital world.
What do you mean? I live above a supermarket and 70% of people walk in with their heads in their phones ignoring the real world.
Phones are just as bad but you already sot used to being isolated irl that you think you're not.
Missing RL stuff like cool girls showing interest while you check your dating app for matches. 😂
not true, we love our smartphones because the line gets blurry there. with at most 5 seconds you can easily get into whatever app you want to use at any moment, the apple vision pro however get us fully into the digital world, in 15 minutes, in these 15 minutes we know we're doing all of this to get into a fake world, the line is very very clear
You don't get it. Some people are in their phones. But you're not wearing. VR set at the shop. It doesn't feel right. I like to put my phone down and look at the aisle@@how2pick4name
It’s called “don’t-want-to-change-itis”. How would you know if you like the line blurred or not? It just came out. 😂
You install your new laptop. The first thing you install is Chrome, ditching whatever browser it came with. After first disabling the various audio search tools and covering the camera and microphone with blue-tac, the next thing you install is VSCode, and Docker. You have your command line. You can get to email through Chrome. That's the entire device installation done. Everything is set up. I can't imagine why I would use VR
i watched Ready Player One…the moment i start to hyper-fixate on VR i'm never coming back to reality so i'ma avoid it like the plague
It's not only the price, but the fact that the Quest 3 is comparable in all the things they both do. There's also very little on it. Its basically juat a VR computer. $500 for a headset with a big library of games or $3500 to wear a MacBook on your face?
It ia cool tho.
That and they didn't invest a lot of money in it, because they didn't think it would sell well.
The average person doesnt have 1000 dollars yet alone 3500 dollars alone to spend. This shit was made for rich people.
Yeah 70% of us are living paycheck to paycheck and don’t even have $500 for an emergency, we’re not gonna be like “alright time to drop the price of a used car on a headset”
I have close to a million in NW but I won't blow it on this.
I think it lacks a concrete purpose, rather it remains as an enhancement of experience for activities that can be done in other devices. Also 3500 dollars
Agreed
This the coolest comment of the video I've found.
When the original iPhone came out the ceo at the company I worked for ordered one and hated it, he gave it to various people who all hated it too. Eventually someone offered me it, a junior - I took it, people forget it wasn’t love at first sight with the iPhone either. The Apple Watch was much the same too.
But also smart phones didn't exsist yet till that point. When apple released theirs, vr headsets already existed and at only 300 dollars
@@Colorado-Coyotesmartphones most definitely were in existence predating the iPhone... They just were clunky and not as user friendly.
@@JustaRealKid so...no smartphone then
@@Colorado-Coyote they did exist?
No wonder it wasn't love at first sight, you couldn't even record video on it. It was a subpar product compared to top of the line Nokia phones. It just looked fancy.
I made an Apple appointment to try one on and let me tell you that if you haven't worn one in person and had someone teach you everything it can do then you have to give it a try I was mind blown by how crazy real everything looks. Gonna buy one
No way, no how am I gonna pay $3.5k to wear a microwave oven on my face.
I don’t even got $35 bro
feel u 😭💀
I don't even have 350$ to buy me a new decent smartphone, let alone 3500$.😅
Simply i prefer to build a gaming PC then buy this pare of glasses for 3.5 🤓
The product is just way too stupid expensive in an era of world financial struggles for most average American.
Apple doesn’t concern itself of who can afford it. In an interview, Tim Greedy was asked "Do you not think this product is too expensive? He sarcastically replied -I don’t know!, AKA I don’t care with a laughter".
Most have seen the product for what it is, but consumer behavior and this generation of people allowed these prices to exist.
Some products are good and bring people together, but today’s trend many products are bad, pointless, expensive, poor quality, and don’t bring people together.
As much as dropping $4000 on the ability to live in a fantasy, I need to pay my rent and energy bills.
To be honest, I don't think people are avoiding it for any other reasons that it is a) ridiculously expensive, the cost of two higher-end laptops, and b) there's no compelling use case. It's a cool gadget but it hasn't revealed anything that is so useful that a significant number of people wouldn't just opt for a different brand or simply wait for Apple to come out with a more reasonably priced alternative. The "pro" in Vision Pro suggests that that's just what they will do. If they can get the cost under $1,500, or better yet under $1,000 and add some of the missing features like TH-cam and Netflix support, etc., then there's at least a chance that a lot more people would take the plunge.
We also have a growing anti-screen movement, a recognition that screens are taking us away from "real life" and products that shield half your face while presenting a digital version to everyone in an attempt to make it appear like your face isn't being shield, just appear to be a supercharged version of a screen, which they kind of are. You basically have your eyes within an inch or two of these screens whenever you wear them. I think there is reluctance on a large segment to get hooked to another type of device after all the downsides we've seen with people becoming addicted to their smartphones. I feel like this will be less of an issue for glasses that are more subtle like the metaverse Raybans, but since they don't have Apple marketing around them, they won't sell much, it will probably take Apple to intro a competing product to that as well, but maybe Apple has just lost its famed ability to created new types of devices and make them suddenly adopted by a huge segment of the market. I don't think there's been a new TYPE of device introduced by them since the iPad. Of course, the smartphone and the tablet weren't invented by Apple, they just made the ubiquitous due to their marketing and engineering...
😊 so they say we're living in a matrix and we're trying to get back into a different matrix
because its a $3,500 dollar motion sickness machine.
Two reasons:
1. Expense
2. Simulation just isn't good enough...yet
I’d rather spend all that money on a trip to Alaska!!! Look at all the beautiful mountains with my own eyes! 🤩😎

Its too expensive, no one in their right mind would pay that much.
AI AR Glasses, not huge Face Hugger Goggles!
I've had such thoughts but haven't ever been able to articulate them like you did. Very nice job!
you can buy a pc with a 4060ti, a Quest 3, and still have money leftover for peripherals.
We really have become super lazy. I agree with everything you said. Too much work. I have stopped watching creators because I had to switch to another app to watch😁
I don't want one because of the cost, I would get a headache wearing one anyway.
Imagine if it took 1 minute for your phone to wake up each time you wanted to use it.
Screen that close to my eyes? Nope, I'm not going to fckup my eyes that badly. Myopia gets wrose with age once you get it
6:43 This is a product I can get behind.
3500$ and 256 Gb storage, slap on consumer face, this company has gone beyond all greediness.
Unparalleled security: Revux approach sets a new industry standard!
Comparing the apple vision pro to the iphone is a bit weird considering that the VR market is very very small.
This come from the perception that apple created the smart phone market but that isn't true. When the iphone came out in 2007, Nokkia, by itself, was selling $51 Billion Euro worth of cellphone. Garnett estimates that 1.1 billion cellphone was sold in that year alone. Apple didn't create the smartphone market as simply took a big bite out of the existing cellphone market with, at the time, a superior product that everybody copied.
In 2022, the global VR headset market was only $7 Billion USD. There was a never a market for the apple vision pro to take over and I don't think that the vision pro is a really superior product - especially at that price point.
It's expensive ✅️
You don't need it 99% of the time ✅️
You don't want to wear some heavy goggles ✅️
They are cheaper and better options to choose for VR games ✅️
It's totally a thing that 98% of the world just don't need and won't use ( I said it two times since the video is like 13 minutes why not say it again) ✅️
There you go , saved your time . Now ... do something great with your life 👍
Revux impact on loyalty programs could be revolutionary. Glad to be in early!
VR headsets can't even be used to hang clothes on, unlike that dusty $3500 elliptical machine in your guest bedroom.
10:30 This triggered me more than an Italian being served overcooked pasta.
Who let Tim cook?! 💀

Cost aside, I'm glad they are pioneering the VR space. I can't WAIT until they/other companies iterate on this until we get the iPhone equivalent of an affordable headset.
It's going to be $400 in 6 months when they release Apple Vision Pro 14
Imagine they are already announcing a pro version for 3k more
correct on aperture being the channel to indulge in
You paid $3,500 for a VR headset with no decent games. Congratulations, you just played yourself.
Do you think Revux will pump before XRP?
Aperture, loved the video. It's a shame people are jumping on the "price duh" comments without weighing out what'll happen when this tech becomes affordable. Those that look forward to that get excited. I am more and more afraid of the dystopian future growing every day.
Lol.. nah man.. I work for an XR company and we have a Vision Pro and its great.. but the price of it makes it obvious that the target are companies
The real reason no one is not buying the apple vision pro is because it's $3500 dollars and I say apple gets a pass for pricing it in that way because a youtuber called coldfusion says why they price the apple vision pro at $3500 dallors and great video Aperture :]
I love the idea of VR , in time itll be like Real Player One. You cab live work and do everything. But that depends if the company expends the experience .
Eww
I clicked this video to watch the part in the thumbnail where the guy got hit by a car ._.
Cost certainly (reason not to buy) also they're application specific, if I have a work related use for it (I don't yet) then it could be an indispensable tool, otherwise there is no benefit to having one, even if it was heavily discounted. Outside of gaming, I think for the general population until 'they' reduce it's size and weight down to a pair of glasses I don't think you'll get widespread adoption.
When 3D TV's and 3D movies came out people were complaining about having to wear the 3d glasses. Now we are pretending to be ok with wearing a 600 gram headset on our face when watching movies.
This is why I feel like AR glasses would be more successful. Instead of trying to replace reality, they would enhance your reality.
Major plus: Revux token liquidity is a significant advantage!
Set up time shouldn't be longer than putting a hat on
Redefining segments: Revux competitive edge is a potential game-changer!
Top picks for the bull run are DOT, FIL, and SOL. And the best ICO to invest in? Revux, with huge potential.
Doubt it
$3,500; what Apple want's a Kidney?
A few of the reels aren't the apple thing tho it's a phone vr lol
"Aperture!" Ofcourse.
However, I don't scroll on my smartphone when I am out and about. I enjoy my Sony Walkman, filled with FLAC files. : - )
Yeah I have no problem with any of this
I would never want this.
People want it - the better question is "why can't people afford it"
The apple vision "No"
I'm not buying a visor until it's the same size and weight of a pair of glasses.
How do you make a 13:42 minute video which can be summarised as "Vision Pro is too darned expensive!", because that's the only thing which is Vision Pro specific. And only specific to this first version. It's going to get cheaper, and it's going to get lighter. And YOU don't need to like it for others to find a use for it....
There will be people who live in crappy apartments, but who will splurge on something like this. Its inevitable....
Good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Used car or Vr ?
I believe Revux token will go 100x after launch on Binance.
I'll just stick to watching Aperture on my android LoL 😂
🤔What kind of android we talking about?
The technology will get much better. buy it when it’s better, it’s Apple so it will get better.
This will just become the next smartphone. People will spend more time using it, than not; and that they'll pull it out whenever they experience a millisecond of boredom. Then people like myself who doesn't have one, along side social media etc.; people will be dumbfounded why you don't. I've never tried VR, and don't intend to; along side this headache inducing device.
This version is not it, but AR is 100% the future. When this technology gets down to a regular pair of glasses, then contacts, the majority of people will use them. And let's be honest, if we could all afford the Vision Pro, we would all have one.
We already separate ourselves from others too much.
This device isn't for common people like us, who have limited a amount budget to spend. But, in the future cost will go down like any other devices. I won't buy this device, but waiting for this device get smaller to the size of a glasses 🕶️. Meta is already doing that lol.
I want one.
I can’t afford it.
Nah you really don’t, Eventually they’ll come out with a better version, You’ll want that one. This one isnt that impressive tbh
Nah you really don't want the better version, eventually they'll come out with a even better version. You'll want that one. The next one isn't that impressive tbh
Revux journey: potential meets purpose in the crypto realm!
Like phones aren't bad enough for Apple.
I seriously see boys and girls walking down the street with their heads in their phones, completely missing the girls/boys looking at them in an attempt at flirting.
They are probably checking if they have any matches on dating sites.
Nobody looks around, they are all stuck in their phone. It is becoming pretty sad.
But hey, you all want this because it wouldn't be made so happy future full of crap and isolation.
Something with making a bed ...
Revux stands out in the crowded crypto space - a real gem!
It's for boomers to ignore their families so they can watch lord of the rings.
Dude, you need to get Revux NOW!
If you put on a VR headset and you had to choose between a virtual desktop and a recreation of the best dream you ever had - the BEST! which would you choose?
If we had to describe VR to someone who’d never heard of it, we might say something like:
Virtual reality is a high-tech blindfold that blocks out reality like a pair of closed eyelids. So, our body is here in the material world while we ourselves are miles away. We don’t see reality; we see an illusion that appears to be made of matter but isn’t.
If we had to describe dreaming to someone who doesn’t dream, we might say something like:
We dream behind a pair of closed eyelids. So, our body is here in the material world while we ourselves are miles away. We don’t see reality; we see an illusion that appears to be made of matter but isn’t.
Dreams - talk about native to the platform! The industry is full of fools. Turning VR into a computer screen is like discovering oil paint and trying to paint math text books with it.
At some point every technology reaches the level where it stops being innovative and useful, and it just becomes unnecessary and gimmicky. For example, think about how many recent releases of any of the top brand cellular have been just like the last model. Or a newer year automobile that has one or two selling points that in real world use are just at best an inconvenience and at worst a hindrance to daily life.
I'll buy one If there a fiver, i have a tenner..
It’s awesome.. don’t be hatin
Just operate on my brain please.
Apparently, it makes training for surgery 2x faster. There are use cases
VR/AR tech will never really truly take off until haptic feedback becomes comparable to reality. Just my opinion.
So, never
Okay tell me that doesn’t seem pretty fucking cool tho. Although I’d only spend 1200 max
Most people who buy VR use it twice at most. Oculus was cheap enough for the middle class to give a try, but this will flop. Epic failure on Apple's part to make it a pricey standalone instead of an iPhone/PC accessory.
Is that even a question
$3500 dollars
Revux enthusiasts, pioneers of the crypto landscape!
Same reason I did not play video games in the mid 80s. One summer 1/3 of my friends stopped skateboarding and they spent the summer in a dark basement playing video games. They all became fat, soft, weak boys. Now we call those subpar men “gamers”😂
Its be cool if you could call Tim!
The video presents a false dichotomy. I am not restricted to choosing between a virtual world and the real one. I can experience each at different times and for different purposes. It is true that I can go outside and touch grass at my local park with my dog, and I do that regularly. What I cannot do, however, is travel to mars and see what it is like to stand on the surface. That is something I can only do with a VR headset.
Before something even close to this can be mainstream wide use it needs to be glasses not a dumpy 2 pound diaper on your noggin. Once they figure out AR window projection via simple glass lens and either a simple handheld clicker or watch/ phone control then we can talk. Charge $499 or $599 with optional fixed EarPods. Full on Emersion is all well and good when it’s practical. Imo ❤
