    Thanks, Jesse! I've been studying your longer videos, taking copious notes, and just started my release campaign following your lead. Your videos have made it make sense more than other paid music marketing courses, so I doubly appreciate this short, concise breakdown video to help remind me of the big picture (there is a lot of steps to keep in mind, after all) as I keep rolling along. As you say, sustained, long-term effort is the key. Thank you for giving me the tools to do that.

    I really dig this execution of short format Jesse, and it also taught me on a meta level how to use short form content to connect to long form content… very effective at making me want to watch the 35 minute version, which tbh I still haven’t because I keep thinking “when will I have the time?” When you’re on, you’re right on brother, thanks again for everything you do ❤

    Community is everything. I used to write black metal music, and it was so much easier to find peers. Now I do this weird uncategorizable stuff that has no home. There is no scene of people doing what I do, as far as I know... There are scenes that would appreciate it, but I certainly wont fit on their playlists.
    I've literally hunted for hours and hours for a genre I could fit with. I still have no idea. It's like cinematic dream pop for utterly miserable avant-garde black metal fans. I'm screwed.

      @jordan.na.dzielni 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bro, I do djent and trap fusion with electronics. First of all- contact me, send me your stuff!
      And for the second one... Well, release some of your weirdness, then try to see which elements you like the most. My music is all over the place as well, but it crystalizes with time. Keep improving and you will find people that do remotely similar stuff.

    Every time another video comes out like this all I feel is my mental health falling farther down the drain never being able to keep up and get my foot in the door and knowing I’m going to miss more birthdays and holidays chasing this stupid music dream.
    I already work full time + side stuff and spend hours learning and teaching myself stuff since I can’t afford to pay for anything so it just really seems like I should quit.

      You should never give up on your dreams. What's the worst that could happen? You already have a support to fall on. YOLO. Do it.
      Maybe figure out what exactly the dream is though, and weigh it against the sacrifices. Maybe there are better things in life.
