Hi everyone!! I really hope you enjoy this Inktober sketchbook tour! The month of daily drawings was a tough challenge but I feel so proud of this year's sketchbook. I tried lots of different and challenging ideas! Be sure to let me know what you think! Also, let me know if you took part in the challenge! Thank you so much for the awesome support! I hope you're all having a great day! :) -Chris
Hey Chris, I know this is a few days late, but I'd love to see some Arcane: League of Legend fanart! It is astounding in every sense if you haven't seen it, I think you appreciate it a lot as an artist. But the characters and environments would be beautiful in your art style! Just an idea :)
Mr. Chris, your perspectives, designs and tones are of a level which many of us artists hope to achieve, I myself like to make portraits and epic sceneries, however I get bored halfway through and after a day or two I continue with the art work to finally complete it. All in all Great imagination but I do think there's always a room for improvement (but I don't think you need any, lol). I'll tell you what, make a comic book/manga about this little hero on the sceneries, it'll be on fire. I know this is three weeks later after your video has been posted, but this is the first time I've seen your video and I'm already subscribed. Happy New year. ~YA5H. J
Wow, thank you so much!! That would be amazing. I feel really proud of these sketchbooks and it's always a highlight of the year when I get to record this sketchbook tour. :)
I love Chris's work. I wish he could sell an art book with his inktober work. Not sure that's possible anymore, and that's sad. So it's truly one of a kind
This is so wonderful. Your art is one of the most calming things I’ve ever felt. The details you put in it….l it’s just amazing. The one thing that helps it be more realistic and calming is that you used tan paper instead of white. Seriously I can’t put in in words how much I love and appreciate you art and TH-cam channel.
Oh wow! Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words!! :) I always look forward to Inktober and getting to work on this tan paper again. It's a really inspiring time of year and I'll always be grateful for it. Thank you again! Your kind words truly mean a lot. I hope you have an awesome week!
I’m 28 and I’ve been drawing recreationally and professionally as early as I can remember and I can say with 100% certainty, you are my favorite artist. Your art style inspires and motivates me to make art more than anything else. It could be 3am and I’m in bed ready to sleep, but if I watch one of your sketch book tours, I will get up and go draw. You 2019 sketchbook tour is my favorite collection of art I’ve ever seen. I lost the video and didn’t know what it was called and I searched for 2 years till I finally found it and it was like finding an old friend. I show it to people when they ask what my favorite art style is. Thank you for bringing magic into my grown up life, you inspire imagination with your art work and illustrations. Thank you for your art😊
The red caped adventurer reminds me of the game Sky, the cape especially. And the style of the buildings and drawing really just feels like the game, I love it:’)
Not familiar with that game, but the clock for Tick reminded me of the clocktower in the 1996 game MYST. I played the original, but it's been redone and re-released. Wish I had a game system I'd love to crawl back into that world
Humanity has a tendency to forget that every drawing has an artist behind it. Because it is hard to imagine people are capable of making incredible things. On that note, these are ridiculously good. I'm jelly
The sense of charm and style you get in every single piece is incredible, even with inanimate objects...not to mention the way you render transparent/translucent objects is just above and beyond, I'm in awe and am mentally taking so many notes of things I want to try and incorporate into my traditional and digital art, keep it up! Much love!
Day 20 really hit me because that’s the day my mother passed and the word being “sprout” felt like a tribute to her. It was my favorite one because of the meaning.
I have seen a lot of art TH-camrs and some briliant art, but none have inspired me to jealousy until now. Your confidence in the materials, skill, comfort in your style, crisp line work and clean transitions have blown my mind and made me want to aim to achieve them. So now I have some clear goals to work on. Thank you for sharing.
I’ve been watching your inktober sketchbook tours for a few years now and you can really see how much you’ve grown. Your art is incredibly inspirational and beautiful! Your dedication is amazing. You must be such a patient person. Beautiful beautiful work!
Man, I've been subscribed since 2016 (your Fantasy Art Friday Dragons are what originally pulled me in) and I have to say that each time I watch one of your videos I'm blown away. You have to be one of the most underrated and talented artists I know, and I can't wait to see more from you!
I'm always blown away everytime you do Inktober. You put so much effort into your pieces, it's just amazing. I love all of these drawings, they're so cool! ❤️
This is honestly breathtaking. I don't draw anymore but I love seeing other people's art and your work is astonishing!!! I'm only 16 so I know it's weird that I'm complimenting you but it's INCREDIBLE AHHHHH
Your game has changed, my man! You are going so much more detailed, I love to see your progress and your talent :) Thanks for sharing all of it Mr Chris, your style is very inspiring and gives me so many ideas on new things to try :)
That really means a lot! Thank you for the amazingly kind words! :D I'm feeling really grateful for this challenge and everything it's taught me over the past 6 years. I love posting these tours each year! Wishing you lots of support with your artwork! Hope you have a great week!
I have been waiting for this for so long! Your Inktober Sketchbooks are some of the most inspiring art I’ve ever seen. In fact you’re probably the single most inspiring person I’ve come across on any platform and I probably wouldn’t even do art as much these days or enjoy it as much if not for you, so thank you.
I always enjoy your style and every Inktober challenge compilation you do I'm impressed all over again! You always push your abilities. Feeling really inspired! Happy Holidays, Chris! 🥂🎄
This is so cool! I've been anticipating this video all through November. I love your stile and it's so interesting to compare the previous years, see soutle changes but also the similarities. You have every right to feel proud of yourself. These drawings, as always are absolutely stunning!
Thank you so much for the amazing support!! I really enjoy looking back at the previous years. It feels like I learn from Inktober each time and I'm really grateful for that. :)
Hands down one of the better Inktober walk-throughs that I have seen. I love the whole story-line and connectivity between the pictures day by day. Nicely done!
Love that you share your inktober journey with us , every year you take it to another level! Your attention to detail really pays off in your drawings and I’m really enjoying the continuity of the caped adventurer!
WOW, WOW, WOW this sketchbook is the best I have ever seen. I can imagine a book being published with your storytelling as well. Each page was just blending into the next and I was disappointed when it got to the end as I just wanted more. Your work is outstanding.
I love the style you use for inktober. This year is such a big improvement compared to last year. You seem more confident with the shadings and add more details while maintaining the comic style.
I’m most definitely subscribing. This was the first video I’ve ever seen of yours. This entire sketchbook was beautiful. I think either the lemon or the sprout was my favorite. Thank you for blessing my eyes with these beautiful art pieces.
I save all your sketchbook tours, you always blow me away and inspire me so much. I don't know how you never have 1 page which is dog crap (bad sketch day) to at least offset all the other fantastic drawings (do you tear them out? I think we could learn from your flubs some!). The rest of us mere mortals average a few 'dog crap' drawings interspersed in our sketchbooks.
This makes me to want to see a series about the adventurer with a red cape as the main character. It could be so interesting a mystical and detailed world..
wow beautiful drawings again! Your work inspires me again and again to try something new and not always to draw the same motifs with the same materials
Just yesterday I asked myself when there will be a new video on your channel and here we go! I love everything about your artstyle. The mood, the colors, how you use ligh, the fantasy themes and the vibes of solitude. It is very special and so beautiful.
hi Chris, thanks for making this sketch book tour. this year was the first time i actually was able to complete inktober. funny thing is, that i had really similar ideas for several prompts as you did (deep sea theme for pressure, colliding planets/asteroids...). so it was really interesting for me to see your interpretation of these prompts 😃 and they turned out so great! i love the amount of details and different textures in your drawings. especially the little tag on the butterfly jar, i've never seen a tag on a glas bottle like this before. all in all i'm really looking forward the next inktober tour ^^
Hey!! Thank you so much for the support! So glad to hear that you enjoyed the challenge too! Haha I love that we had similar ideas for some of the prompts! That's something I really enjoy about the challenge - it's fascinating to see all the interpretations for the word prompts each day! Thank you again! Wishing you lots of support with your artwork!! Hope you have a great week! :)
I love how even though you try out different techniques and materials (not necessarily just this video, but I mean your entire channel) your style is so distinctive and unique. I'm pretty sure I'd recognize your art anywhere. Amazing talent :D
Obviously these are ALL INCREDIBLE but your Compass drawing is my favorite and I felt like I could reach out and grab the compass off the paper! I don't know if it's just me but I also enjoyed looking at the backsides of the papers as you turned the pages. So many of them were equally as appealing to me, almost like watercolor paintings. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us.
I am not an artist but I really enjoy seeing how artists create their work. I think your such a gifted artist and I also like to see what different artists do for inktober.. ❤️❤️. Your stories behind all your drawings makes each one very special
Wow! Lethal Chris, your drawings by far are full size and covered from top to bottom. And I like your story theme. I think you did an excellent job for. The 2021 inktober challenge. My hats off to your work and idea. Wow! I'm impressed. Great job. 👍
I'm just getting back into drawing and when in started watching this it almost brought a tear to my eye your art is simply beautiful my friend simply beautiful keep up the great work man also you make a full drawing dedicated to the red caped character
Ooh, I've been looking forward to your inktober-video! :) These drawings are amazing and would also look great framed on walls. I have been following your progress over some years now and I think your art has really improved (even though it was great to begin with). Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
The book and the art are absolutely stunning and incredible. They really capture your attention to detail and I loved the stunning scenery. 😍 I always look forward to seeing what videos and art you do next xxxx Happy Holidays 🎅 🎄 ❤
I love all your Inktober drawings!! The dynamic shading you have used for some of them is amazing, especially the dragon one. I could picture the scene of absolute darkness then this spark of fire coming out of nowhere, the features of a dragon being highlighted by the flames. I am happy to say I completed Inktober this year with drawings that I am pretty happy with (a few could have been better but I was pressed for time also my markers decided to start to run out of ink) I want to try to utilise the tan paper like you do next year. You inspired me to start Inktober and though it is challenging, it has been fun

Agreed
They already are…. (Priceless) * 🤓
Wow, thank you so much!! That would be amazing. I feel really proud of these sketchbooks and it's always a highlight of the year when I get to record this sketchbook tour. :)
I wish you made a book print out of the heroes Journey. Maybe with a story book
I love Chris's work. I wish he could sell an art book with his inktober work. Not sure that's possible anymore, and that's sad. So it's truly one of a kind
It's just ridiculous how how insanely good this style and art looks like. Jaw dropping..

My favorite thing about your drawings is that each one has such a deep and massive story that you can *feel* through the drawing
The old school diver is just perfect! That, the raven and the cat on the roof are my favorites!
Thank you so much!! I'm so pleased with how the diver turned out! I find myself feeling more confident with inking after drawings like that. :)
@@LethalChris1I was just giving credit where credit is due. The blacks in the helmet and the background are really what's selling it.

I think you have my favorite art style out of any artists I follow closely
It’s always nice too see artists who’ve found their style (instead of stinking anime over and over) looks great 👍🏻
Your drawings are truly amazing! I've looked forward to seeing them since inktober started, and it was worth the wait.
You are a great artist.
Thank you so much for the amazing support! :)
@@LethalChris1 You're welcome.
Awesome! Day 8 watchtowers reminded me of the beacons of Gondor from lord of the rings!
Great job Chris! The deeper black really sets off the design! You’ve grown over the years. Good for you
The amazing thing about this is sitting there and thinking “Someone drew this!”
Just the details on the diver one 🤯
As always, well worth the wait.

Oh my god. I loved all of them but DAY 23 ONE THE LEAK ONE it really stands out with the idea that you put into words.

I am happy to say I completed Inktober this year with drawings that I am pretty happy with (a few could have been better but I was pressed for time also my markers decided to start to run out of ink)
I want to try to utilise the tan paper like you do next year. You inspired me to start Inktober and though it is challenging, it has been fun
