Rufus is simply one hell of a butler.
Sterk's Gaia Breaker is definitely my most favourite special move of Atelier Meruru. His inhuman anime face before the final strike is so cool.

ok maybe it id dumb question. but why the damage so low as special attack? i only stop in Mana Khemia 2. and their damage is higher or much higher.
Probably wasn't using optimal weapons so as to be able to raise the special Bar before the bosses were dead. The bosses aren't HP sponges in this game anyway, I think the strongest boss in the main game is somewhere around 15k. It's the DLC bosses which require the best optimal weapons and super items to beat.

As far as it matters for Meruru, she doesn't need a special attack. She can unleash special effect from attack items, as well as call for combination attacks. That's already a lot of power.

Super late answer,but Gino's voice sounds odd because he's voiced by a woman. She ussually voices teenage boys too hence the voice is not very fitting for an adult Gino. I guess they preffered familiarity instead of changing it. They'd have to look for a voice that would fit and that takes time and if peopledidn'tlike the change thatwould bring another different problem altogether.
They used the same voice actor for Gino after 6 years ; v ; Where is my sexy man voice Gino?!!?!
I know, right? Gino's voice bugs the hell out of me in Japanese during this game. It was fine for Totri, but it's just so wrong now he's a grown mauhn.

Seems that you and I both agree that Gino needs....you know, older voice actor. Normally Japanese voice acting is REALLY good, the accent is, but it doesn't suit him now.
And oh, I didn't realize that Meruru doesn't have her own special. Isn't that kind of weird?
