The 660 MT03 comes in for a lot of criticism from bikers who reckon 47bhp is way too soft. I had one from 2008-2012 as a second bike and I can honestly say its as much fun as anything I've ridden. I'm 54 and been riding for over 30 years having owned countless machines including 1000cc inline 4s, twins and triples. True, the MT isn't that fast but it has superb torque and is so light and flickable its an absolute blast to ride. One thing is essential though: fit a an after market set of end cans and remove the baffles. The standard cans produce a dreadful sound which kill the experience. I has akras on mine and I never tired of listening to the single cylinder thrumming and popping that these let loose. Excellent bike
hey just got my own MT03 (white version) 2006, how do you perform wheelies on this boy (clutch or power wheelies and what gear-pace) pls let me know. cool video man keep it up!
Hi :) please tell me how the bike picks up speed from 0 - 100 and how critical the lack of windscreen ,if I drive mostly around town? if I can afford to buy MT-03 XJ6 or-SA '16 what would you advise?
+Enic Velikolepniy The MT03 is verry fast from 0-100, around town one of the best and most fun bikes in my opinion. The XJ6 is more for a longer highway cruise better and a bit less in town. I would say buy an MT03 or XT660!
I have had 2 of these Bikes. They are super fast up to 100km in fact I am yet to be beaten.. They will do 174-180 with good mods but it's a bit uncomfortable at that speed and isn't good for the engine to be wide open for very long. I do 650km in commuting on it every week and it's great. if you get some cans and open the airbox you will see more top end power. low down tourqe is super fun and I can get to 140/150 in 5th with a small twist.

When you ride 100 km/h what does the engine revs? 5000 rpm or higher?
@@walsmachinist1 tussen de 4000-4500 toeren, 100 is prima te doen!
@@walsmachinist1 Hey there, my mt-03 rides at about 4-5000 at a hundred clicks in 5th gear. Cheers.

Geweldig dat je dit soort video's upload!'
Hoe is de koplamp op de mt03? geeft het genoeg verlichting op de weg?
It is what this small metallic noise when the motorcycle gets down again it rpm? As a noise of nails of muffler.
But very nice bike !
You are exactly right.
+SecondhandHorses so what is this noise ?
Some bolts of the dB-killer.
Finally, I bought this motorcycle!
Funny and cool but I find that the engine stalls easily..
Yeah, It's a 1 cilinder. I say: MORE POWERRR!
Hi, is it filmed with a Sony ActionCam?
GoPro 3 Black.
💪
When was the bike built? In which year?
I think 2006
Okay, but I decided to buy a KTM SMC R 690. Thanks buddy
Thats a better bike!
Heeey, da's Dronten
how much fuel does it consume?
About 5l/100km. It can do better with easy driving.
How do you wheelie? What gear and what RPM?
2nd, clutch up to about 6 and send itttt

and how critical the lack of windscreen ,if I drive mostly around town?
I wouldn't be worried about that. It is above 100/110 km/h more of an issue so around town it's fine!
+SecondhandHorses thank :)

You wrote it's windy but I read that with the factory windshield became much more windproof. Did you try it?
No because this was not my bike. Even a small windscreen would do some good work.
why does the bike sound like a dirtbike
rekty lolz because it's a single cylinder
xt 660 engine
Cause its a 1 zyliner
"relieble" "verry" lol
FR I was referring to the spelling of the word.
