Season 6, 7 & 8 of Spongebob are so bad. Where PBS Kids stands out more than post-movie Spongebob seasons is that not only that their shows aimed sadly only for toddlers 👶 but why many OLDER kids & their parents still love watching shows from that channel is because they made their toddlers' shows as GOOD shows. (They do have let downs too like freaking Caillou but that was just the channel's mistake.) Post-movie Spongebob seasons never start this way.
Why are you comparing them? Also idk what you mean by not starting well, the first 2 episodes of season 8 are good and every season after it until season 12 has a good premiere. I think seasons 6 and 7 are below mediocre.

Season 7 Season 8 Season 6 Season 9 Season 10 Season 5 Season 4 Haven't watched anything after Season 10 (and I don't want to) so there's my ranking. Season 4 in my opinion still has the same charm that made early Season 1-3 episodes so good.
2:41 I don't think The Splinter is as bad as the Squidward torture episodes of the season. 6:46 Omg wtf, he gets no chances to redeem himself in either of the 2 episodes and he gets punished for his mere existence in both fucking episodes. 16:25 I don't get this miserable joke. At least 24:47 is pretty funny and the speech about recycled plots in the next one is good.
This is the edge lord season based on it's behind the scenes drafts. For whatever reason they decided to make it gross with these veiny and disturbing drafts of which can be found on the SpongeBob wiki, not to mention the grossouts and gore. This Season is ultimately what killed the show and will never recover. Sure Seasons 4-5 had a slight decline but it's gems were able to out weigh it's few duds. Season 6 really has more duds than gems and even in the good episodes they still had to sneak in some skin peeling or gross close up or whatever.

I don't know about you but I've gotten so sick of them constantely making the characters go off model and making dumb faces throughout these seasons. Not that there isn't good in these Seasons because there is. Seasons 10-13 really are no better than Seasons 6-8.
@@nolife6013 I think seasons 10 and 11 are even better and some of my favorite seasons of the whole show and season 12 is pretty good too but season 13 is the most consistent one but... Not exactly in the best way, its episodes range from frustrating and lame to pretty good. The overexaggerated faces though... They are not as frequent as people make them out to be and they've toned it down in season 13.

All the word play and witty dialogue has just been replaced with goofy faces and continuous slapstick, these can work but in small doses but Season 11 overuses them heavily and not to mention having atrocious episodes like Ink Lemonade, Library Cards, Cuddle E. Hugs, etc. Seasons 12 and 13 while still flawed did at least tone it down a bit. As for Season 10 it was more meh than anything else. If Season 11 suddenly disappeared from the world I wouldn't miss it. But like every bad season of SpongeBob there's still good in it so don't take this as me being completely negative. ChefBob, Surf N' Turf, Drive Happy and Teacher's Pests were my favorite episodes of the Season but as good as they are they aren't as good as the gems in Seasons 1-9 or even 10. But that's just my opinion more power to ya if you like those Seasons more than I do. Different opinions help keep the world fresh and alive.
