Great video. Glad you still go out even when the conditions aren't ideal. Bufflehead are fun to watch and photograph. I bet you will see lots of wildlife at that pond. I would love to have one that close to my house!
This pond will be great once the summer is in full swing. It turns a bit marshy down at the end so I’m excited to bring the kayak down there and do some bird watching
This was my experience trying to photograph goldeneye this winter concealed from a river bank. I scouted the area the would fly in, they would drop in kind of close but notice me and drift off. Not freaked, but drifting. Frustrating because I feel so close and not quite there for what I was hoping for. Good video showing your experience. Thanks for sharing!
I’m glad we all struggle with the same problems! It’s all part of the fun in learning the behavior and then hopefully getting lucky every now and then. You should see my hard drive filled with goldeneye that are *just* too far away haha. Thanks for watching, John!
I was not able to see the full eclipse since I had to work. It was the first day bringing the boat back out on the water so I couldn’t complain. From the photos I saw online, it looked amazing. Glad you were able to get up there, what an experience that must have been
The shots made it look like you were right down close to the water line but it looked like you were sitting comfortably on the stool. Not sure how you did that, but good job!
Great video with awesome good sound. Thanks for sharing .
Thanks for noticing! And thanks for watching

Finding beauty in the norm is what it is all about. Thanks for another great video! Enjoy Canada!
Cheers, Cameron! Thanks for watching and I’m excited to share what I’ve got up here so far

Agreed! As long as I don’t damage my camera gear I’ll go out in any weather
hi Liam. Great spot for the blind. The results were awesome. Very nice shots. Greets Stefan
Appreciate you watching the video, Stefan! I’ll definitely come back to this spot during the summer months
Did you get to photograph the eclipse? I went up to Jackman and it was absolutely amazing.

Thank you! That’s the power of a telephoto lens
