      txXycLf2VV4
      txXycLf2VV4
I think it makes sense. 9LX is human Vs human. Chess is computer & human Vs computer & human.
Wesley So beat Magnus 3x games in a row HUMAN VS HUMAN!
      .
      .
      .
      .
      .
      FRC6
Is it unfair to Wesley So that FIDE lowered the WFRCC time controls from 60min in 2019 to 32.5min in 2022 (without changing the name of course to 'rapid WFRCC'. if they change the name, then there's no problem) considering the ff?
      (Note: 45+15=60, and 25+5+2.5=32.5)
      - Wesley So has never lost a 60min chess960 game out of 14, played the most games and has the most wins ( 6 ) AND the most draws ( 8 ).
      - Hikaru has never won a 60min chess960 game.
      - Magnus has the most 60min chess960 losses ( 4 ).
      - Magnus (2wins, 2draws, 4losses) & Hikaru (0wins, 3draws, 1loss) tie with Vladimir Fedoseev & Peter Svidler for the lowest 60min chess960 score.
      - In the 2019 WFRCC, Hikaru & Magnus did better in 17min games than 60min games. Wesley So did better in 60 than 17.
Wesley So beat Magnus 3x 60MIN games in a row HUMAN VS HUMAN!!
Afaik rapid is 10min to BELOW 60min and then classical is MINIMUM 60MIN (even if it's unrated between 60min and below 120min), so Wesley So should be the CLASSICAL WFRCC and then Hikaru is the rapid WFRCC. Yet for some reason FIDE insists that both 32.5min & 60min are 'slow rapid' while 17min is 'fast rapid'.
What do slow rapid & fast rapid even mean?!?!?!?!!
Try to check out the maths here - They said both 32.5min & 60min are slow rapid.
I see only 2 possible definitions for slow & fast rapid.
Def 1 - slow rapid means unrated classical [60,120) and fast rapid is rapid [10,60). --> this means Wesley So is not classical WFRCC but slow rapid WFRCC while Hikaru is (fast) rapid WFRCC.
Def 2 - slow rapid & fast rapid cut up rapid [10,60) into resp [35,60) and [10,35). --> 2 issues here. 60min is not in either of these. Also, 32.5 is in [10,35). So neither 60 nor 32.5 are slow rapid. Lol. Wesley So is again classical WFRCC while Hikaru is fast rapid WFRCC.
Def3 --> Since 15+2=17 is fast rapid, [10,X) is fast rapid & [X,120) is slow rapid for some 17 < X < 32.5. like say X is some arbitrary number like X=20 or X=30. Lol yeah right!!
      Anyway,
Wesley So beat Magnus 3x CLASSICAL (60MIN) games in a row HUMAN VS HUMAN!!!
I believe the WFRCC was a conspiracy to get Hikaru / Magnus to win in parallel w/ the Hans Niemann situation. Think about this:
      - Magnus quits the 2022 Sinquefield Cup. 1 day later, Hans Niemann, an American rival of Magnus, is harmed in another tournament, the 2022 CGC in that Hans is removed!
      - Magnus quits the 2023 WCC. 1 month later, Wesley So, an American rival of Magnus, is harmed in amother tournament, the 2022 WFRCC in that the time controls are reduced!
      Coincidence?
Of course there's no conspiracy at all if FIDE just says
'Ok Wesley So is classical WFRCC & Hikaru is rapid WFRCC. Our bad for the confusion!'
P.S. Please help get Wesley So on Lex Fridman's podcast. See:

Just me looking at it in 10 seconds, 1. Bxf3 exf3 2. Rxf3+ Ke2 and rook must drop back to f6 with 3. Rf6. Simply a6, black can't stop the pawn with rb6 rb8 ra8 because it's too slow. Black has to play rxa6 where white recaptures and is up a full rook(black can win g3 and probably h4 as well), but that gives us enough to to play rf6 and win f7

    • @osgubben
      @osgubben ปีที่แล้ว +1

If Bxf3, then exf3+ with check and white is 2 pawns up, which a walk in the park for a GM, and Magnus could win this blindfold with a few seconds left on the clock. Comps say its +4, so Anand knew it was over.

11:46 Wouldn't the best move for black be to take on f3 with the bishop, then the rook, forcing white to choose which pawn to defend with his king? Thought this might put black closer towards equality, but I suppose trading off the minor pieces and winning 1-2 pawns wouldn't necessarily help black take/stop the passed pawn though, huh...

Agad, what's your opinion of FIDE's use of the terms 'slow rapid' & 'fast rapid' please in WFRCC?
It's a conspiracy against Wesley So.
    Afaik:
    (0,10) is blitz.
    [10,60) is rapid.
    [60,120) is unrated classical.
    [120,infinity) is rated classical.
    So what's 'slow rapid'?
Try to check out the maths here - they said both 32.5min & 60min are 'slow rapid'. Does this strike you as odd?
I see only 2 possible definitions for slow & fast rapid.
Def 1 - slow rapid means unrated classical [60,120) and fast rapid is rapid [10,60).
--> this means Wesley So is not classical WFRCC but slow rapid WFRCC while Hikaru is fast rapid WFRCC.
Def 2 - slow rapid & fast rapid cut up rapid [10,60) into resp [35,60) and [10,35).
--> 2 issues here. 60min is not in either of these. Also, 32.5 is in [10,35). So neither 60 nor 32.5 are slow rapid. Lol. Wesley So is again classical WFRCC while Hikaru is (fast) rapid WFRCC.
Def3 --> Since 15+2=17 is fast rapid, [10,X) is fast rapid & [X,120) is slow rapid for some 17 < X < 32.5. like say X is some arbitrary number like X=20 or X=30. Lol yeah right!!

What happened is that Magnus lost to Sergey AS WHITE in Game 8 but then compensated for a white loss with A WHITE WIN in Game 10. This is what happened to Liren Ding & Nepo for Games 2 & 4 of 2023 WCC.
Why doesn't a drawn match go to the player w/ more black wins (if any) s.t. Sergey Karjakin not Magnus Carlsen is 2016 WCC & Ian Nepomniachtchi not Liren Ding is 2023 WCC?
    This has happened BEFORE!
    1
    2022 Accentus Chess960
Vincent Keymer and Nodirbek Abdusattorov both finished with 5.0/7 and tied first. However, as Keymer won more games with Black, he won the tournament on tiebreak.

'When the quarterfinal between Portisch and Spassky was tied after 14 games, Portisch was declared the winner because he had won more games with Black.'

    3
    1983-1984 candidates tournament
It wasn't repeated! The premise was the same! Hübner had more black wins than Smyslov before tiebreaks. After tiebreaks were tied, a ROULETTE determined Symslov won!!
