OUTSTANDING!!!!! I'm at the planning stage for displaying my recently completed DeAgostini TB2 in the same type of hanger diorama. I became confused that the pods would NOT go sideways between the legs. I have found this with ALL the models of TB2 that I have (original AND the new series!!), plus a google search of plans for TB2 shows that it is, and always has been, impossible. I guys the camera DOES lie. I had to view your video twice to see your solution to that little problem. Brilliant!!! I just hope mine is at least half as good as yours when completed. Well done! 15/10
Just been looking at some videos of the DeAgostini build on YT as i have the full kit to do at some point, and it was kinda mind blowing to read your comment - I never realised the pods wouldnt pass sideways under the model as they do in the pod selection sequence in the TV show. After reading your comment, had to re-watch the clip to see what the solution was! Its funny, because I did own the Powertech Transforming Tracy Island set, which was a micro set featuring the Island and the TB craft and at the push of a button would open to reveal the internal bays, including a TB2 bay with a pod selection conveyor - which DID pass thru the legs sideways. But when you look at the TB2 in that set (bearing in mind it was only about 3" long) its been designed slightly differently to the usual TB2 proportions...

Its interesting that you're able to recreate the launch bay tho i have one issue is the pod where is 1,2,5 and 6? (ik they don't include it but still)

Incredible on many levels. I would add a small $10 water fogger effect to the hanger to seal the deal. It would really ramp up the realism.

2号の脚がコンテナスペースより内側にある事実！スライドはしないよね？撮影では、そこの所を意識させないように微妙に編集でゴマカシてるんだよね？
そうなんですよね～。実際あのコンテナのスライドは無理ですので、今回は前後の間隔の広い足だけの台を作ってその上にTB2を乗せてコンテナ移動しました＾＾；

二号の模型を見る度に思うんだけど、オリジナル映像のラージスケールモデルより、若干キャノピーが上よりなんだよな～
ロングシーン用の、モデルは、これに近いんだけど
自分としては、ラージスケールの方が好きですね
音なしだと寂しいので音楽足してみました＾＾。プロップも何個か有って少しずつ違うんですね～。

音楽は、インストヴァージョンの方が好きだと言っているだけで………、言葉足らずですみません。
そうなんです、これは、別にサンダーバードだけじゃなくて、他の作品でも往々にして良く有る事です。
工業製品ではなく、全て手作りで作る事による齟齬ですね。まあ、仕方の無い事なんですが。
特に海外の特撮ステージは、日本の怪獣モノの様な着ぐるみ劇をやらないので、小さいんです。
なので、ロングシーン用、アップシーン用、と、プロップを使い分ける事が普通で、そう言った事情も絡んでいると思います。
アップ用のラージスケールですが、実際の輸送機等を参考にしていて、翼のサイズを除けばかなり、リアルです。
故円谷英二氏は、当時、かなり故ジェリー・アンダーソン氏を意識していた。と言われていますが、こういった模型の完成度等を見ると、残念ながら、勉強不足を感じてしまいます。
素晴らしい作品です！！
欲を言えば・・・曲のエンディングとともに２号が発射して欲しかった・・・と思いました(^_^)
