    Nice work. It's all that extra stuff that I don't WANT to have to deal with, but you make it look easy.

    Yep, mine was disconnected too and I'm missing part of the breather I think I don't see that white part , just a hole. Runs fine again now. thank you very much, saved me a lot of trouble

    Great video T-Bone. I like your style of a quick check. You are right, you can certainly feel if it has no, or very little compression.

    Great video T-Bone that's a great way to do get an idea of compression on most saw types especially when first checking it into the shop... appreciate ya pulling the saw down for a better view of the fuel line replacement. 🐓👍

    Have this same saw... changed the bulb about a month ago and made the genius decision not to change the line. Today it started leaking and I was about to take the whole thing apart but now don't have to... liked and subscribed to say thanks.

    When I squeeze the trigger my chain spins way too fast. I tried adjusting the H setting in either direction and it does not affect it. Any advice would be appreciated.
    By the way, I had that leak and this was the video for me! You rock, friend!

      I am working on a video right now that should be finished this week about how to diagnose an ignition coil. Not sure of title yet, maybe cuts off hot or something like diagnose your ignition coil with only a screwdriver. It will explain a ton of information on that subject. Hopefully it will help.

    Good deal so I noticed the vent fitting white so that means the tank ain’t air tight ? My primer nipples 1/2 broke off so my plan was to cut it off and glue in a vac fitting ? Same w the line to tank filter the replacement crap ar out here is 1/4 “
    Dumb ass me drilled that out a bit to accomplish a fit but she leaks a bit it the tank is vented this isn’t a big deal ? But I can’t keep fuel in the primer bulb she runs But not for long sucking air

    Got a 350 that doesn’t have a priming bulb, that was leaking fuel when turned on side. It was actually just the main fuel line itself that has the filter attached. It was dry rotted and cracked, right where it slips through the gas tank.
    Easy fix with a few cuss words slipping the hose back through the hole, and slipping on a new filter.

    • @RaleysSmallEngines
      @RaleysSmallEngines  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching. As I said in the video it's a quick check, to be accurate you need a compression tester. If the machine falls quickly there is no need to test because you know I has no compression. I appreciate your input Thank you.

      @@RaleysSmallEngines not if it has an easy start recoil ...

    • @RaleysSmallEngines
      @RaleysSmallEngines  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This one does not. If it does it will only fall so far and the same applies. I do have a feel for these machines as I've been repairing them over 40 years. Again I do say In the video, to do it properly you need a compression tester. You are awesome and I appreciate you commenting my friend.

      @@RaleysSmallEngines im aware of that, been at it 43 years , own 3 shops , it’s just the people on here many of them don’t have the knowledge or the hands on experience and end up getting screwed while buying used saws because they trusted these types of techniques, instead I would tell them pull the muffler and look at the piston and cylinder condition through the exhaust port...

    • @RaleysSmallEngines
      @RaleysSmallEngines  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cbnx82703 of course pull the muffler and look at the piston. If in that situation. The point is...Grab the starter rope if it falls straight down.. no compression no reason to test it. Yes the same will happen with an easy start set up with a no compression saw. Love it my friend!!
