Yesterday I saw a video of chicken biryani by Sanjeev Kapoor, I decided to cook it at home, while cooking it I realised that I don’t have the chicken, so I used rats (just as you used CDs, DVDs instead of flywheels), but it nowhere tasted like chicken biryani, because after all it was a rat biryani.
If you really want to replicate it, first study his patent and tune the factors affecting the outcome such as weight, diameter, voltage, current, frequency, timing etc., and then make a video on why it didn’t & shouldn’t work.
Do you know the definition of a flywheel?
Do you even know the difference between CDs, DVDs and a flywheel?
The crucial factor determining the success of this invention is moment of inertia that comes with weight and CDs, DVDs don’t have such weights at all.
As per laws of thermos are concerned, energy is everywhere in its potential form, so even if a machine that generates electricity is invented, it won't violate the laws of conservation of energy.
You killed this idiot with humour humility and science. He built the worst prototype there is. The video in reference beongs to Dr. Shangar and his team from Hyderabad. They run this research lab for 20 plus years. He received acknowledgement from highest echelons of india Government. He and his partners have Phd. Kamma Gear Flywheel, does not show the input voltage and amps drawn from the battery (4*12 VDC), He only claims that he is getting high AC voltage out than the Input, without understanding what is power/Energy/power factor. Its quite obvious that Flywheel has inertia to spin, that does not mean it has created more energy than the input.
What he built is sucks, he don't have the bsic knowledge, so he choose to use cds, and iam thinking that why he did not use wooden fly wheel
But the innovation shown by the BBC is just a kind of mechanical battery which can be used to store energy in the regions of frequent power cuts...!
You should have the knowledge that you can't generate more energy from the supplied source....!

Nature's actual laws of physics can never be violated. But when we arrogantly believe to know all of them then we ourselves will feel personally violated when we are shown a real device that proves there is more to learn. I also did some experiment but it is not working properly . it is not possible.
let me clear you this device really workable and i can tell you why your did not work.....this device is based on inertia i know many of you will tell this is mechanical battery but its not its totally different from you machenical battery ..... see i can explain you this device by using pendulum very simple but you must have to be open minded ...take a ball at some hight H where the potential energy is (mgH) now i dropped the ball from that hieght H after sometime the whole potential energy converted into kinetic energy (1/2mv^2) ....we all clear at this point that the ball which is hight H and having potential energy (mgH) cannot have more energy than (1/2mv^2 or the ball traveled the distance H) ...now i again take that ball at hieght H but this time i will tie a string to it just like pendulum after this i leave the ball ...now the ball will swing means the ball which having potential energy (mgH)=kinetic Ernrgy (1/2mv^2) having greater energy than before or it travelles the distance more than hieght H means it is swinging ....but here is no conservation of energy valid because we all know this ball will swing because of gravity and it will keep swinging due to inertia ...that device is also based upon inertia ..if you dont know what is inertia than i can tell you the (inertia is resistance to any change)....and your device didnot work because the disk is so small and so massless......simple

Horizontal distance traveled has no relation to energy. Imagine a ball on a track with a ramp at each end. You could make the track arbitrarily long, and the ball would travel the entire length, but changing the length would not change the peak speed of the ball and therefore not change the peak momentum. The path length and the height are different measurements.
