@@ThatTattooShow You double tap the power button to put it into standby mode. When it's in stand by mode you can power up the other battery do the sync with the pedal then put them both into standby mode . Whatever battery you double tap power on to bring out of standby mode the pedal will be paired with. It won't let you pair a second battery unless the first is in standby mode so make sure you do that

Reality of the situation is both Chris and Paul have been tattooing for around the same amount of time which is approximately 18 years. Both have an equal amount of experience in the craft of tattooing. In fact if you were to ask us who do we think is more knowledgable about tattooing, Paul would tell you that Chris knows more about tattooing than he does, which is why Chris does the in-depth reviews of machines and products. It’s always good to do research and know actual facts before making assumptions. Assumotions are made and most assumptions are wrong…
I wouldn’t recommend plugging it into a gun. You can however plug the battery directly into the machine and use it without the need of the foot switch.
Is there interruption? For instance I have the ink machine dragonfly with their wireless set and if a Bluetooth speaker is on playing music then I get interference and can’t tattoo cause the machine will literally skip like a chord being short or something.
That’s a great question. I don’t know the answer as we don’t use Bluetooth speakers. I can try it with my AirPods and see if they cause interference failing that I’ll ask critical.
I talk about this in my long term review which is coming out in a couple of weeks. Yes the battery life on the flux drains which is a ball ache. But there is a workaround which is turning it into the flight mode. Which is essentially what happens when you long hold the power button on the critical. Except to turn it back on with the power bolt you need to plug in the usb which is abut annoying for some people. Ideally you should be able to switch it off and on from the battery.
Yup the flight mode trick works I believe it's because they are always sending out a bluetooth signal for the app to pick up. I hope they can fix this with a firmware update not a deal breaker but annoying when other batteries you can pick up a week later and still good charge

Have to say, I’ve not experienced that. Once it’s paired and connected it worked fine and the batteries are still going strong from the point I had them.
@@ThatTattooShow I guess that is the difference in real consumers and sponcered artist. They advertised the batteries to last 5-6 it is good to get 2-3 out of them. And then when you have to send their product back due to their manufacturer defect they charge you for shipping.

Got the set up but how do you change the battery on the foot pedal and how to turn off the pedal for traveling so the battery doesn’t drain?

I want a baterry for my bishop fantom which one do you recommend ? the shorty one lasts 5 hours or 4? but the big one is too heavy for this machine?
I went with a shorty. I run a rotary machine as well as you. I think the shorty will feel better using the shorty than the big one
I just plugged mine in and put the batteries on the charger and they keep beeping, Is there any way to stop that?

Tbh the kickstart isn’t that noticeable but it’s enough to push membranes. As for switching it off that’s something I don’t think can be done tbh.

Shorty Batterys fit with Cheyenne thunder?
You would assume yes as they do have Cheyenne fit. I would however double check with critical or the supply company you buy them from just to be 100%
I wasted 400.00 for the bundle it is pure garbage and the blue tooth will not connect or drop connection during a tattoo.
