Imposter syndrome is real. I’ve experienced it before and I’m sure there are so many people out there going through it without even knowing it.This content will surely help one to recognise and deal with it before it does so much more damage. Thanks for sharing!
@08.42 I can totally relate hun. This is very good content. I work in a setting where I am the only black and I only see this happening with me ,despite there are less experienced people working with me. I have friends in the same situation too. So this is definitely a thing that goes on!
Wow @Abena Nhyira firstly thank you for watching and secondly for engaging. This is so prevalent in the workplace and I am so surprised people don’t talk about it much. Please speak up and call things out when you see them - easier said than done I know but until we talk nothing will be done. Thanks again hun and I hope you and Mr are well and staying safe 😊 x
MiraaSpeaks you welcome babe and it’s good to do content like this to encourage and enlighten black professionals - and sure yes we have to speak up !! We are both well thanks - hope you good too and take care ❤️🙏🏾
I appreciate this video. I have experienced this on my journey to a career in law. I would not apply for work experience, internships or vac schemes because I thought I was not good enough. I have even found it hard to ask people for help. Networking has been a nightmare. Just after watching this I have sent emails out asking for assistance and I have applied for a vac scheme. Thank you so much.
Kati I appreciate you too for your continuous support and growth. The world of your oyster hun. What is yours will not pass you by. I am so touched my message and I know the best is yet to come for you. God bless you and thank you once again x
really good content as always... its nice to know there are actual definitions for these things as sometimes you feel like you're being oversensitive etc when in reality thats not the case
Thank you for sharing this, I found it helpful. I have also experienced this and still am to some extent so good to know that others also face this and have overcome!
