this was very well-presented. i read ppl commenting about how the hair isn't the same color but that's besides the point. this vid isn't meant to be about hair color; it's about technique. Meechie's aiding people who achieve this look on their own at home yet all ppl have to say is "the hair's off?" ..that's so rude. kudos to u, Meechie, for kindly showing us the entire technique; it's versatile and very well done!
And it also doesn't matter that the hair is not the same color. It still looks great. it looks like there was a blond highlight. People just want to hate.
GREAT tutorial. A lot of stylists don't wanna give away these kind of info but I really do appreciate it. for people like myself who possess this talent, just watching these videos and practicing helps to make me much better in my craft. thanks girl!!!!
Thank you soooooo much for this video!!! I tried this method the other day and it didn't work out the way I wanted it too. Now I see what I did wrong. Also thanks for posting this and not holding a class and charging hundreds of dollars to attend!! As I stylist I'm constantly perfecting my craft and I love the fact that I can find helpful tips and tricks here on TH-cam. God bless you and your talent!!!
The quality of this video!!!!! Thank you! Finally! You have made an unparalleled video! The angles so that hands aren't in the way! The commentary is thorough and leaves no questions, the audio is leveled perfectly so that voice and music mesh with no viewer adjustment necessary. Excellent work and superior video!
I have watched other "tutorials" and this one hands down is the best. You did not speed it up your tone of voice is very easy on the ears. You did an amazing job. Thank you
This was relaxing to watch and the end result was beautiful. You have great teaching skills. Also, I love how the colors looked like beautiful brown streaks blended with the sew-in. Excellent work!
I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR SHOWING US YOUR SKILLS.YOU BREAK IT DOWN JUST RIGHT FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND.YOUR HANDS ARE TRULY BLESSED SISTA.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 👏👏👏👏👏
Omgoshhh, love your work! A lot of stylists aren't willing to share their methods so thank you so much for filming and posting this tutorial. I cannot wait to try this method on my clients.
Thank you for your thorough, professional, and selfless tutorial/demonstration. This is one among many reasons as to why U ROCK. May GOD continue richly bless you because you have been a blessing to MILLIONS Miss Mad about Meechi. Again thanks!!!! Maria, formal licensed hair dresser!!!
well damn not even 10 min and she did this perfectly. and in so much detail in the simplest way. the hair color doesnt matter she could of dyed her hair prior or left it how it is still looks 100% to me
Oh and your so right about the folding of bundles. Lol I have been doing hair for years and I hate when I style someone's hair and they rather have that bulky look then the more natural look when you cut it. Stay up Bless up you are very pretty too
Thanks for the videos. So many of us do our own hair and look to IG, FB and TH-cam for ideas and new techniques. I myself truly appreciate the tutorial and hope you keep them coming. Most stylist wouldn't give away such secrets for fear of it tapping into their clientele and reducing their income. Thank you again.
That was really nicely done! Girl you got some haters but you just gained a new follower; You are talented. I cant believe ya'll tripping about the colors when its females walking around with much worse color combos on their heads...Not to mention I'm sure she told her that the client prolly wanted it that way
I just want to thank you Ms.Meechie for sharing your talent with the rest of the world!! I am great full for coming across your channel...I have learned so much.
I just saw this and it made me smile a hairstylist here told me my stitching was not good i saw yours and now i know this lady was hating your work was Clean Polished Professional and just Simply Beautiful Ty for the Video
You are such a humble black women love the way you teach Love that ur into The cares of #notOnly the style itself but how to properly install. You provide tons of information nd techniques on how to keep the process intact and you allow not only your client but your audience to understand the importance of taking care of #Any hairstyle u do
I believe for a demo which usually means free, the model hair was done mostly to show technique. had it been paid for I am sure would look complete. the other thing is with oil the hair appears darker. so blending may not be an issue.
Micheal Dores hi Micheal this is 35 year old me answering for 31 year old me (my birthday hadn’t came yet) would you please tell what you wanted to ask?
I'm just saying people always talking negative but don't no the whole story not you I like what you said I was just adding to your comment I wasn't really asking you a question I was just saying sorry for the misunderstanding
I love you girl omg thank you a million I was just asking God , I said Lord I know there is a way for me to do this idea but I didn't give it to much thought I prayed and left the thought alone for a sec and today this was the first video up on my screen to view on the list youtube suggestions , thanks a million I just started doing weaves and this is a money maker for sure
Really good styling and I was skeptical at first about her braid pattern but I actually want to do this. One comment though, as a stylist I feel she should have dyed her clients hair to match the weave or dyed the weave to match her clients hair color. My biggest pet peeve and something that makes my skin crawl is when real hair and weave hair don't match!
Because home girl has to walk around like that after the video. It was styled nicely but the fact it didn't match really is annoying. I feel that way about all weaves, not just hers. If you like it when girls wear weaves that don't match in texture and/or color that's your opinion as mine is the opposite.
more than likely the client picked out her own hair...pretty sure of it. I do agree with you, I would want it to match but then again, it doesnt look bad. It looks high lighted if anything...in my opinion
Free hair, free hairstyle, free tutorial. Dang people. If I was lucky enough to sit in that chair and get some free hair and a free style...I wouldn't complain about the color..I'll just drive my butt to a Sally's or something and buy some hair spray to match the color. Be grateful that a professional is showing us how to do an install. There are some people who learn from her videos and I'm one of them because I do my own sew-in's and there's always room for additional learning of different techniques.
I appreciate the fact that you stated your opinion on the people's concern about cutting the weft; I feel the same way and I try to explain that to my clients.
excuse my language but that Shi T is the bomb I do hair I have been doing hair since I was 13 and also do my own hair I have not yet got in my cosmetology license but I do hair around my city and I watch a lot of your tutorials and I learned a lot from them thank you so much for posting no you have really encourage me to pursue with my dream my husband is an army so it gives me an opportunity to travel the world and again I love your work
I love the demonstration, and the weave looks so natural. "Beautiful" I am a hair stylist as well, and I really love the out come of the service that Bob.
Hair sheds either way whether you paid $100 or $500. My most expensive bundles shed like crazy and I was mad as hell. I do want to try your hairline next. I like the way it looks after you straighten it.
out of all the videos ive watched ur the best you showed every detail properly and convinced me that my hair could b dne like this❤ keep up the good worl
What does the color have to do with the way she showed u how to do the sew-n..maybe the lady bought her own hair and she did it for her..ppl are so ignorant. Besides tht u did a great job showing us how to do this hairstyle. .ppl are going to hate whether its good or bad so it doesn't matter.keep up the good work
Watched tons of videos on how to do a sew in and this one has been very helpful step by step which is what every beginner needs and I now think I have it thanks to you.
all this ignorance in the comments is just ridiculous. the video was to show the "3-Parts (middle, left side, right side) Vixen method in combination with the flip method. Look at the damn braid pattern she did to achieve the 3-part capability and stfu about the rest. the only part of the hair that didn't match as far as COLOR is her ENDS and why dye the extensions if her ends are gonna GROW OUT eventually? then she gone have to dye her REAL hair again or dye the EXTENSIONS again. PLUS highlights/streaks are SUPPOSED to be varied throughout the hair. it's looks more natural that way! and the hair was not frizzy it's an HD camera, the hair is fine so she had to FLUFF it to make it mimic the girl's texture/fullness better and since her hair is LONG, she couldn't just slap sum gel on it and tuck it under because the more hair you leave out {larger amounts OR LONGER LENGTHS} it's more noticeable. she could've kept it to herself if yall was gone do all that. D*MN!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING, MEECHIE.
Good job Meechie!! This is one of the Vixen method I will try. I like this braiding pattern, gives the styling nice versatility. She can part the hair 3 different ways in the front area and even rock pony tails or updos.
I truly don't mean any harm but you can definitely see that her hair is pulling on the right side... what's more important the clients natural hair or the sew in... she's going to lose a lot of hair where it's pulling....
I always worry about the natural hair when it comes to sew ins. I have found that the tgread cuts through the hair during tge sewing process. Maybe the silk thread she used will be a better selection.
please put a picture of your weave so we can see how it suppose to look I think and many many others think she did a flawless job yes she slayed her hair to me if you think different show me your hair Please so I can see what you talking about thanks
She did a very good job , she tightened the weave really good , this method is a very flexible way of making the game right , she can always dye the leave out since it's her natural hair
so what about women who wear their hair out all the time, it doesn't just break off. As long as she takes good care of her hair then no breakage will occur
The blending process honey. Most people have to flatiron and do whatever other stressful tricks to blend in their hair with their weave of a different texture. In these cases Less is more. Especially when your leaveout is good and coarse/kinky and is not super shiny Indian Natural Wavy & 20 inches. (whereas if it was a nice italian kinky straight she probably wouldn't have to do anything at all to her leave out; judging by the texture) When you wear all of your all out what are you blending? oh that's right... nothing but the rest of your hair. Not to mention alot of people get weaves because they can not properly manage their own hair without breakage. MIND YOU some people CAN manage to take care of their leave out while blending with that texture; but MOST PEOPLE I know can not (and I do hair at an HBCU). Stop acting so damn dumb and in your feelings. You can feel free to break off all of your hair if that makes you happy; You might be going for the Amber Rose chic.. lmao I really could care less.... But um...hop off my November 2014 comment please and thank you. P.S. common sense isn't common.
Kiki do you have any knowledge on keratin fusions?? I need all the advice I can get before having it done this weekend. No one in Nebraska knows how to do hair like meechie....nope no one. If so I would be getting a vixen.
Absolutely gorgeous ! Once my natural hair gets long enough, I'm definitely going to do this 3 part vixen style ! Thanks so much , you're vixen videos are amazing
This is one of the best tutorials I have seen yet. Most videos give you a half presentation and leave you clueless about the main part.

People always overly critical. She did a perfect install. That was the point of the vid.
I agree
And it also doesn't matter that the hair is not the same color. It still looks great. it looks like there was a blond highlight. People just want to hate.
Meechie is nice and neat. Her finished look is always professional and polished unlike some others I've seen. Lol

I used to watch your videos all the time and I came back because miss ma’am 😍❤️ never disappoints and is still on them necks
I do hair but never did ii think of that center + side part all in one sew in technique #SmartGirl
I appreciate the fact that you stated your opinion on the people's concern about cutting the weft; I feel the same way and I try to explain that to my clients.
Can we get a tutorial on that ponytail 😍
Right

All i can say is God bless you Meechie....you just taught me something beautiful

Hair sheds either way whether you paid $100 or $500. My most expensive bundles shed like crazy and I was mad as hell. I do want to try your hairline next. I like the way it looks after you straighten it.
I got some virgin hair 2 bundles for 160 and it barely sheds at all. I lose maybe one strand a week.
Moriah Wade yeah same here I have Mercy's hair in now it NEVER sheds either... And it's tons of reviews on here everyone says the same
Tay Keith
I agree. All brands shed.
Reesy Rozay No matter what your weave is going to shed. I mean your real hair sheds too, right?
out of all the videos ive watched ur the best you showed every detail properly and convinced me that my hair could b dne like this❤ keep up the good worl
I wish she could fly here to cali and do my sisters hair
I like her professionalism. They way she explained her method was very good for a non weave wearer like myself.
great work. Didn't care for her leave out tho it didnt blend too well but that's not a fault of yours.
Great Job!!!! Wonderful!!
Love your demos and presentations
your professionalism is impecable. Thanks for sharing with us. You are amazing.
What does the color have to do with the way she showed u how to do the sew-n..maybe the lady bought her own hair and she did it for her..ppl are so ignorant.
Besides tht u did a great job showing us how to do this hairstyle. .ppl are going to hate whether its good or bad so it doesn't matter.keep up the good work
Maita Polley I liked the color and style
MochaMuah 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Now this is truly a tutorial video. I enjoyed watching this and I love how you explained everything step by step. Just beautiful!
I wish her leave out was dyed to match the hair better. That is such an eyesore.
Girl yassss thank you, her hair should've been matched with the hair it's not going to blend when she flat irons it. Js
+James Williams
Lol,those curls Wernt even cute. I'm no hater, but am I the only one who thought it looked like a sloppy day hairstyle?
fixe
So professional, best hair tutorial I've seen so far!
She probably should've used a net to protect her natural hair since it looks pretty damaged but the outcome was beautiful😍😍
I love how beautiful that turned out. you should be so proud of your talent.
love it I'm just mad she didn't dye her hair first
She didn't need to
she might dye it later that wasn't the point
I love this video. I watch at least once a month. I’m actually getting much better with my vixen sew ins
Could've dyed her before doing sweing it in . But I liked it a lot ! I just didn't like how it didn't match it bothered me lol
Ooooh yea I saw that too or maybe it's just edge control
I always worry about the natural hair when it comes to sew ins. I have found that the tgread cuts through the hair during tge sewing process. Maybe the silk thread she used will be a better selection.
You did a very good job on the application of this type of sew-in style.
That weave looked so frizzy at the end
Yeah I agree. She should have clipped and layered it more before styling it.

Yessss!!!! You slayed this hair!!! omg!!! you are so amazing and awesome!!! You do beautiful work!!!!
Random but You have hands like TT Wells 😂
That high ponytail is so fierce!
the hair color is off .. I like the tutorial though
the world is aware
Imani Whitaker maybe she wanted it like tht
She did a very good job , she tightened the weave really good , this method is a very flexible way of making the game right , she can always dye the leave out since it's her natural hair
Wish u was my big sister😊
Very Nice Lady do your thang!!! I learned alot. Keep up the good work. The different tones makes it look more natural.
Stylist now days do excellent sewins but don't know how to style hair it's so backwards
So what are you implying about this video?
FORREAL
She styled it well.. What are u implying?
I love everything about this video. The music, your explaining was on point and the technique
I love how neat you sew in the sew in it looks really good and professional
Yea but that's not her hair color
So what that's the color she chose so that's the color she got
Yeah but I guess that's what she wanted. I saw a girl at the mall with platinum blonde weave but her hair was brown. It looked bad
lol haha
Once she straightens it it will blend on
lol
That ponytail is giving me lifeee! Yasssss
Her hair and the weave aren't the same color.
TabithA Holland
Great video and that ponytail is giving me life!!
Great video but her leave out looks horrible
Great video!! Love how you took time to explain how to do it while also giving tips on install in general.
that poor baby with all that leave out exposed. Breakage city.
so what about women who wear their hair out all the time, it doesn't just break off. As long as she takes good care of her hair then no breakage will occur
The blending process honey. Most people have to flatiron and do whatever other stressful tricks to blend in their hair with their weave of a different texture. In these cases Less is more. When you wear all of your all out what are you blending? oh that's right... nothing but the rest of your hair. Not to mention alot of people get weaves because they can not properly manage their own hair without breakage.
MIND YOU some people CAN manage to take care of their leave out while blending with that texture; but MOST PEOPLE I know can not (and I do hair at an HBCU).

I lovvvveeee ur work ! Ur amazing , beautiful, and talented ! Definitely one of my idols!!!
why people watch the whole video just to hate?? like y'all hair professionally done? most of y'all pics look a hot mess! The hate is real!
