I love how detailed this was and the fact that you actually showed the braid pattern! Only thing is I wish we could’ve seen switch direction you sewed those last few tracks.😩

For the middle braids how did you sew in the tracks for it to be free range?

You didnt show in the beginning on how you started the braiding process or on how you laid the tracks for it to go 2 ways.

If only salon all owners and hairstylists were as great as you are. Yesterday I went to get a traditional sew in. The girl doing my hair didn’t let me face the mirror. I explained to her what I wanted. She disregarded that and moved on to doing what she wanted. Did not want to talk to me at all or answer any of my questions. 4 hours siting in the chair and she was still braiding. I ask how much longer and she said 3 more hours. That’s when I lost it. Asked why was she so slow doing a traditional sew in with minimal leave out. And she said she explained to the owner of the salon that she does sew ins that take 7 hours to complete. Keep in mind I came in the salon with my hair washed and blow dried. Extensions washed detangled and flat ironed. Owner never communicated the 7 hour part to me. The girl doing the service got offended because I asked why she was so slow doing my sew in that normally takes 2-3 hours. And goes ahead and says “I am a nurse not a hairstylist”. Imagine my reaction. I called the owner and the owner says she is a nurse and a stylist. Then I understood that the girl didn’t know what she was doing. The braiding was a mess. I kept telling her the flyaways are pulling. You know that one hair that pulls and it’s so uncomfortable. Her solution was to break off my hair 🙄 instead of braiding properly and using edge control to control the flyaways and have a neat parting which she didn’t. The end result, I wish I could Insert photos here so y’all can see. The wefts were coming off bulky as heck. And you could see the tracks from a far! Not to mention the rest of lack of professionalism happening. From talking a foreign language with the sister, to inappropriate music video in a foreign language. Ignoring me and my questions. And her 3 year old son in the room being loud and messy with food. When I go to a salon/spa is to feel calm and leave feeling like a Queen. I expressed my disappointment. And left. Didn’t pay because what I got done was not worth paying 250 dollars that the owner of the salon wanted me to pay. The owner was there she witnessed my discomfort, me trying to raise my concerns, the girls rudeness towards me. An hour later I received a FB message asking me to pay the girl because it wasn’t fair getting my hair done. And not pay. When I had to go home and ask my husband to help me take that mess down. She waisted my time and gave me more work. I thought I was going to a hairstylist a professional hairstylist not to the doctors office to get my hair done by a nurse who expresses loudly and clear she is not a hair stylist. How is it fair to me yo sit for 7 hours and walk out looking like a clown. A mess. 🙄
