Fantastic video in informative and useful information
Thank you for watching!
Incredible! colors are fantastic!
Thank you Jeff, I agree the Genset looks great with the bonnet
Great stuff as always.
Thank you Michael.
Great review and backstory. I have the VL UP version.
Thank you Steven, Very nice the exhaust feature on the VL ones are pretty cool.
@@wcmodelrailroad Yeah, the exhaust feature was a selling point for me.
Amazing engine. Love the Santa Fe warbonnet paint. I got the vision line es44ac. And two genset's. Bnsf and union pacific they are beautiful engines
Thank you! I know the paint scheme isn't prototypical, but it sure looks good on this die cast body like your ES44s.
nice engine sir.
Thank you much!
🚂 Wow • Like this loco & your detailed review 😎
Thank you Gary!
I feel like noone realizea this, but the controll stands in the gensets are on the left side of the cab and they run longhood forward.
I think that's going to vary based on the Railroad. BNSF runs them short hood, at least in all the videos and times I have seen them. Great comment!
Good review! I really like the illuminated control panel!
Thank you J.R., it's probably my favorite feature on this model
Awesome engine! I love it! Thanks for putting the podcast link too.
Thanks Matt, and no problem.
Eric what was the main job of the switchers were they used to haul mixed freight
Industrial switching for the most part.
have a good sunday!🧭
You too!
Wow! Nice engine you got there! I’ve got the vision line NS switcher, Thanks
Thanks Anthony, the Vision Line models are sweet, love that exhaust feature.
The Genset is nice. I believe the newest release will have two motors and a plastic body. Lived for over 40 years in southern Illinois but never knew about the NREC facility in Mt. Vernon, so I learned something new from this review.
Thank you Day Lily, I'm happy you got something out of this, and yes you are correct they will have dual motors and plastic bodies, but I still plan on picking up the BNSF one. I have lived in Chicagoland all my life and wasn't aware of the Mt Vernon facility either until I researched it myself.
Nice review. That engine looks like a winner especially because of all the details that are hold-overs from the Vision Line.
Thank you and I agree. The Die-Cast body feels nice and the highly detailed cab is the icing on the cake.
