Seriously, how to we get you to do more battle reports and detailed analysis of the game? There are not near enough Battletech Bat Rep and Table Top videos! :)
Love these videos. Also, cavalry. Usually I'm not a pronunciation nazi but calvary is also a word and I wouldn't put it past the WoB to have a Calvary lance!
Great report, is your hex based terrain home built? I'm just getting back into battletech after a 16 year hiatus and there's a lot of great new things out there.
Oof, BT is not the game you want to be playing with a headache. If I got a migraine bad enough, I would probably have to have someone else start counting my dice rolls.. Especially when you get those SRM heavy mechs and have to have like ten sets of dice on the board. Great vid. I've just started watching these and really enjoy them.
Yeah, really. My buddy Memphis Mark even has what he refers to as the "box of death" which is nothing more than a plano box with pairs of dice for cluster shot resolution. You'd think a section of the building collapsed every time he rolled. Glad you enjoy the films! :)
Game length: 1 1/2 to 6 hours. Average about four. Camera: It's my Asus Slider tablet that's doing the work right now. It's a setup and forget affair. Though I might change that in the future. Post Production: This one was a bear because I'm learning and trying to get better. It's a complete overhaul compared to the prior. So this one took an inordinate amount of time. Even the narration went through a couple recordings as I fixed issues with how I was recording and when.
When you create your videos, can you start out by high lighting who is who? I love your videos, but I would love to follow them better. Perhaps even high light the characters you are talking about! I bought this game for my dad for this year x-mas and I am trying to learn this! Thanks!
So how do the games actually work? Is it a series of matches, and whoever reaches 'x' amount of wins out of 'x' wins? I am a Warhammer 40k player, so this is really new to me, and having grown up with the BT franchise I am quite interested.
Thanks! The thought of a Calvary lance is somewhat amusing.
Battletech is back in the pipe at the moment. Narration was delayed because various illnesses have made a mess of me. :P

camera: And a Nikon D5100 for the still shots. But the blackberry and a sony 5MP occasionally fill the gap.
How long do your games typically last?
What kind of camera are using?
How long does post production take?
LOL I own the older FASA Battletech books and the pewter miniatures.Cool video.

Nearly all of it is, yes.

Thank you I'll try and find it
Hey, if it walks like a like mech, hits like a light mech, then it's a really big boned light mech. :p

Same as below. :)
