He was a genuinely cool dude. If he was so highly ranked, and aiming for a legitimate place at the top, I can clearly see why stubbing his toe on my scrub list would give reason to mind me professionally.
In my experiance, sometimes it is the Scub lists that throw the competitive list through the mill. You run into something that doesn't make sense but works well in the right hands and you can have real trouble. A buddy of mine runs a late war Stuart Recon Company that is just terrifying to those who played it... took it to a tournament a few years ago and a high ranked player took one look at his list, ignoring the M10's and the Shermans and said "those stuart's gotta die now"
