I leased this exact one today. Much better than the 2018 SR I previously had. I'm unable to hook my I phone up to this car. I'm going to have to take it to the dealer for assistance. I noticed it's a bit peppier than the 2018 SR was. I'm liking it!

I don’t really care much for the kicks but I gotta say it did impress me with the features at that price point. It kinda reminded me that it’s a good competitor in its class.

@@carsunlocked yea, you know cars. The person was asking if it has a timing chain or belt. The transmission has nothing to do with the engine being timing chain or timing belt.

I have the 2020 Nissan kicks. I love it. I agree the seats need to be able to lie down flush to store large items. That's the only thing that needs to be changed in my opinion.

I bought a brand new 2022 Nissan Kicks SV less than two weeks ago and the car shudders when I brake and then stalls. Plus the seatbelt lights always turn on when I'm wearing my seatbelt. So fustrating

Love the new look of the Kicks, too bad most people are saying it's got no go acceleration when getting on the freeway! And stupid CVT;s ruin everything seems like!
Its fine on the high but you certainly have to step on it
New front fascia is more in line with the Rogue’s facelift!

Nice changes but 122 HP is a big hassle to merge into highway or passing a slow driver in front
its not to bad but could use a bit more power for sure
Besides the 122HP does the Kicks have Eco mode? If so then that would slow it down?
CVT transmissions do pretty good keeping the motor in the power band. Where you're really going to see lack of power is off the line . But once they get going they do better. Some manufacturers will actually put a real gear on first to overcome that shortcoming.

@@onasazi That's why I think they should have popped their 2.0 litre sentra motor into the kicks SR. That motor puts out 150 foot lbs of torque and would have made this light sub compact move. Had that 2.0 in a 2012 sentra with CVT and it was very adequate for power.

yes it is. It just came out in 2016 therefore its hard to get a good judgement on its full potential
My 2019 has over 165k miles. ZERO engine or transmission issues. Have replaced the wheel bearings on both fronts, but they were under waranty.

Who uses in car navigation anyway? I rarely even see someone mention that the car has navigation these days. Google maps work way better.

@@carsunlocked it's hardly a deal breaker. And it's better to actually get you to your destination reliably than getting lost in the middle of nowhere.
I like the new makeover with the Kicks looks better the Juke was ugly looking. The refresh is nice looks more upscale than current generation which was somewhat bland.
I do agree with you looks a lot more sporty

Too bad they don't stick the 2 litre into the SR. That would bring the torque up to over 150 lbs.

@@carsunlocked I remember Nissan used to put bigger Motors in the SR. They even put a 2.5 into the sentra and made it a pocket rocket.
They still need work on rear end
I like the redesigned rear. the rear end was already very sharp
