Saved truck drivers ass! Pulled the wire a good foot or two back. He knows what he's doing but everybody messes up once in a while. Good on you keeping him from having a bad day!
Thanks for the comment! Yes I'm glad he got stopped and didn't pull down a wire. It's tough trying to explain that to a client when something goes wrong.
I am fascinated by how the driveway maintenance and repair happens. I love the process! it is to me instant satisfaction, and happens right before your eyes. I love the scraping, the grading of the ground, the skid steer usage, the gravel spreading, and ultimately how it looks when completed. I cant get enough of the content and I love this video. Thanks Aaron! I have to find a happy medium for mounting the camera on the machine. I think in this video the camera was pointed down a little too low. Will fix it on the next one!
Looked good as always, I’ve been wanting one of those land levelers like you built. Found one on marketplace the other day cheap, so I went and bought it down by Kentucky.
Nice work repairing that drive! Too bad that water valve was in the way. It always seems there is a water line, cable line, telephone line or something in the way that keeps us from being able to fix it the way it needs to be done. Sam
I just recently watched your video from a few years ago when you were helping your father in law add a lean-to on his pole barn. At the time you were using a Kubota BX25 sub compact tractor with a post hole auger. I have been looking for a post hole auger for my BX25 but haven't been able to fine one that will work properly n the sub compact tractors. Any chance you can tell me where you bought yours for the BX25. Thank you.
Hey thanks for the question! Yes that was from everything attachments. I believe it was called the EA Landshark. EA sells lots of attachments under the landshark name which is for the subcompact tractors.
What hourly rate do you charge to run for that machine, and what do you find is the best kind of work for it? I'm planning on buying one of my own that's about that size in the next year or two.
Yes they do make tilt plates for skid steers. I'm not a huge fan of them just due to the extra pivots and maintenance. It's not too difficult to grade crown with a regular bucket but the tilt could come in handy at times!
@@Fayettepropertysolutions I highly recommend a glass door. I've had poly doors. They scratch so easily and get so dusty and dirty you can't hardly see out of them.
@@NealORussa we would likely be doing some mulching and brush cutter work with ours, so that was the main reason I was wondering. We know not to point the head in a direction that will cause things to smack the door but I would sure hate to have something like that happen with glass. I do hear what you’re saying though
@@Fayettepropertysolutions gotcha. I think the tempered glass would still be strong enough and if it does break it won't shatter and fall into pieces and hurt anyone. It just cracks up. And actually when I bought my machine the glass was broken out from a log from a tree company who used it with a rotating grapple. The new tempered glass window was very cheap from trackloaderparts. I feel like it was less than 200 for glass and new rubber molding. I had a plexiglass door on my previous machine and you could not see out of it with rain or dust on it. I do not recommend.

Awesome man! What brand is it?

Thanks for the comment! Appreciate you watching, I'm a fan of your channel!
14 tons and 26 tons would be 40 tons lol. Great work! Looks really nice.
Haha yes you are 100% correct! Not sure where my head was.
Nice job!👍🏾
Thank you! Appreciate the comment!

Could you get a bucket or attachments that pitch the level when your scraping

How do you know how many tons you need?
Hey Neil, are the windows in the cab glass or poly?
@@Fayettepropertysolutions the side windows and kick panel windows are poly. The door is tempered glass
@@NealORussa awesome, that’s what I figured

Really not into the 'techno-uTube muzak. Otherwise - appreciate your videos.
Thanks for the comment! I'll try to find something else, I'm afraid it could get boring for some just hearing gravel scrape around.
