I had a headset at my last job but was asked to return it when i changed jobs. :( it was one of the really fancy ones too! I’m so disappointed. Hopefully i get one at my next role.
25 years experience as a medical office receptionist and this is not a good example of how it really is 😅. It is a fast paced career that keep you on your feet. She must be working on a Friday when some offices do catch up work and no patients coming in or it's during some rare downtime. 😅. She is not utilizing insurance online portals where most of this phone work can be done via computer in virtually just a few minutes. I am retired now and would never change my experiences as it is a very rewarding job. The girl here almost looks bored with what she is doing but like I stated she's on down time or it's a smaller practice. We had no time for snacking and hanging on hold for insurance and we evolved into FastTracking our daily tasks primarily online. Good luck with your endeavors just be fairly informed that this is not how it truly is.😅
I just started a new job working admission/discharge at a speciality clinic, I have zero experience with medical or insurance or anything that has to do with working front desk (got lucky my interview went really well). I am feeling super overwhelmed and very nervous😫 there’s sooo much to learn. Still training so haven’t actually started doing any of it but I will soon. Your videos are so helpful! Thank youuuu!
I got a job as a receptionist at a pediatric office and I have 0 experience but I’ve worked customer service for about 10 years now … I am super nervous 😟
Good job! I’m happy for you 😊 It’s a little nerve wracking but once you do it a few times you’ll get the hang of it cause it’s super repetitive. Get a little note book and write everything down that way you can always look back at it.
this sound weird but i have interview as medical receptionist and i dont have any medical background i do have HOTEL RECEPTIONIST background should i withdraw, ur perspective in medical receptionist do they need to know medical termenologies?
Hai sis im from kerala. I regular watch your video its very motivation and inspiration to me. 21 st im joining hospital receptionist job. Very tension and fear. But your videos are overcome my fear. Thank you so much. And im try for future working abroad. Expect your wish mam. All the best🥰🙏
Why arent you verifying benefits online ? Its so much easier. The majority of insurers have online portal for benefits , referrals and prior auth request. Being on the phone is a huge waste of time. Get online ... 😅
Again with great content. Still missing that headset! Love you on the phone!
Haha, I don’t think I’ll ever get that headset🥲

I'd love to land a gig like this. I have 20+ years in customer service, but nothing in the medical field. 🙈🙈

Awe! You’ll be great at it. Just take a bunch of mini notes. You got this! I’m happy they’re helping, thank you for watching 😊
How is it going?? I’m starting a similar job with no experience and I’m also very nervous 😬
So glad you’re back! Just curious, how long are the hold times usually?
Depends which insurance I’m calling. Anywhere from 2 minutes to 1 hr 🫣
I just love it 🥲🫶🏼

Do you like the new setup?
Hi, it was ok. I was just there for the day since the employee for that office was out.
