I simplify the steps so even beginners may complete this project. Feel free to use your own yarn colors and use the length of yarn needed to complete your rug. This tutorial is for a larger size dollhouse rug perfect for a miniature living room.

The Braided Rug pattern in this book was designed by Brenda Miller. This book covers miniature making techniques using needlepoint and counted cross stitch patterns for creating dollhouse pillows, accessories, wallhangings, bedspreads and rugs. I purchased this book on Ebay.
